New to Grow
I am a licensed counselor, certified health and wellness coach, and Mental Health First Aid instructor. I primarily work with adolescents and adults who are navigating life changes, emotional stress, and questions about identity or purpose. My approach is simple: I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you move toward your goals. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and empowering. I use talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to help you better understand your thoughts, manage strong emotions, and build healthier patterns. With younger clients, I also incorporate play therapy techniques and work closely with families when helpful. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your abilities and more proactive in facing life’s challenges.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you. I’ll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. Together, we will set clear and meaningful goals that support your overall wellbeing and daily functioning. There is no “right” or “wrong” thing to share. Everything you bring into the room matters and plays a role in the process. My role is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable being open and honest.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to balance warmth, structure, and insight. I create a space where you feel seen and understood, while also offering practical tools and gentle challenges that support real growth. I combine evidence-based strategies with a relational, person-centered approach. This helps you build emotional awareness, manage stress, and recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Clients often share that they leave sessions feeling more grounded, self-aware, and empowered to make choices that align with their values.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adolescents and adults who are experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, burnout, or major life transitions. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of themselves internally. If you struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficulty regulating emotions during times of change, therapy can provide a steady and supportive space to slow down and reset. I offer a collaborative environment where we can explore both practical coping skills and deeper patterns so you can create meaningful, lasting change.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
As an experienced working with adolescents this is a common modality used in my practice.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In most of my interactions with clients this is one of the most commonly used treatment methods for myself.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
In my experience using this modality with many of clients helps support them in emotion regulation while also on the path of self-discovery.
