I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression, using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Cognitive Processing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Polyvagal Informed, Family Systems Informed, Attachment-Based treatment and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help my clients make progress and start their healing journey.
My first session with you will be focused on fostering a safe space that is the best fit for you as my sole priority. My approach to therapy is based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Acceptance Attachment-Based treatment and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I have been trained as a systems-based therapist and will conceptualize how your family of origin influences you and your relationships.
I have extensive experience as a therapist as I have been a practicing therapist for over a decade. My communication style will adjust to the needs of my clients however I am a therapist who often will use reflective, empathic listening. I am client-centered and work to ensure clients feel safe in the therapy environment I create. I curate a space that is free of judgment and supportive.
I have specialized in working with adults from BIPOC communities. I treat and provide individual and couples therapy. I work with adults whom have family issues as a family systems therapist will use the lens of a culturally responsive mental health professional. My area of focus is individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
