I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, safe, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through connection.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the emotional weight of caregiving, relationships, and work stress. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward — and together we create space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually fit your life.
Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic. I strive to create a space that is nonjudgmental, affirming, and supportive of your unique story
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which means I have been trained to work with systems. This means that I focus my work on individuals, couples, children, and families. I work to help people learn how to create positive bonds with one another, improve communication, build their self confidence and provide hope of a life filled with happiness, all you have to do is decide to make a choice to call to schedule a session.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, advocate, mother, runner, and yoga enthusiast. I believe that everyone would benefit from talk therapy because life is challenging, complicated, and busy. I fully understand that getting ourselves to therapy is, at times, not easy and sincerely appreciate every client that intentionally decides that they are ready to grow, heal, and evolve. I believe in the power of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable so as to push ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones.

Hello, my name is Ryan Alan Suhr and I’m a licensed psychotherapist practicing as a professional counselor since 2005. With Graduate undergraduate training in philosophy, psychology, religion, linguistics, and anthropology. I try to help others find meaning and purpose in their personal experience of the human condition.
I attempt to apply a conversational approach to matters that matter in service of improving relationships with self, other people, and the world.
I work especially well with women who are in the “messy middle” of life: between who they have been, what others expect, and what they may want next. Faci
Are you a woman facing big decisions? Navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, career pivots? My background shapes how I approach therapy with clients facing such women's issues, which includes years as a licensed mental health counselor, but also as serving in senior leadership within higher education, supporting clients as a transformational coach, and balancing parenting along the way. This mix (and juggling act) gives me a practical understanding of how emotional wellbeing is often shaped by work, caregiving, relationships, and major life responsibilities.
Many of the woman I work with are thoughtful, capable, and carrying more than others realize. They often appear highly functional on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, depleted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. I help clients slow things down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface, identify what needs attention, and move forward in ways that feel grounded and realistic.
I am licensed in Washington and Rhode Island, am a nationally certified counselor, and hold a doctorate in adult and higher education. While my colleagues may call me Dr. T, in counseling I'm just Melanie. I'm here to support you, help you find clarity and calm, offer guidance, levity, and a safe space for tears, perimenopausal rage, or a well placed curse word. Together, we find solutions to the barriers keeping you from your next chapter.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting adults, Veterans, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, chronic health concerns, and systems-related challenges. I’ve worked across medical, community, psychiatric, and government settings, which means I understand how personal struggles are often connected to larger life circumstances—not just what’s happening internally, but what’s happening around you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQI+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (6+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” helping clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I use evidence-based and trauma-responsive approaches tailored to each client’s needs. My primary modalities include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed interventions, and psychodynamic therapy. My EMDRIA certification is currently pending.
I also have extensive experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure-based interventions, mindfulness, and other integrative approaches. I modify interventions to support neurodivergent clients and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, recognizing that therapy should adapt to the client and not require the client to adapt to therapy.

My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and licensed in WA with more than 20 years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, anger issues, and self-harm ideation and behaviors. I want to get to know you and what might be happening with you that you are seeking counseling for. Many times people come to therapy when they are in some type of distress. Sometimes this is conscious and sometimes not. If you are struggling or distressed for some reason or grieving a loss in life, ( or not sure but something has changed) I would like to see how we can work in therapy.
The way we work will depend on the issues you bring to therapy. I have experience with different approaches to therapy including but not limited to HUMANISTIC THERAPY (includes the importance of personal responsibility, and a positive, non-judgmental approach), STRUCTURAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (includes the importance of family structure and healthy boundaries), GOTTMAN (includes helping couples communicate better, resolve conflicts constructively, and create a shared sense of meaning), CBT (generally includes a short-term approach that helps you identify and change negative or unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior to improve your mood and overall well-being).

With a seasoned background in military life, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with service members and their families—supporting them as they navigate the evolving landscape of military culture and its impact on relationships, identity, and transition. My twenty years of service as an Army chaplain shaped my understanding of resilience, loss, and the power of story in healing. Those experiences continue to inform my work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, couple, or family, I will walk alongside you as you re‑vision your story in ways that feel authentic and empowering. My approach integrates Narrative Therapy, Solution‑Focused Therapy, CBT, and Family Systems perspectives, always centering your voice and values. Together, we’ll explore the beliefs that have shaped your current story, gently deconstruct what no longer serves you, and open space for new, life‑giving possibilities.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process—one that honors your lived experience and invites growth through curiosity and compassion. Our work will focus on listening deeply, identifying patterns that keep you stuck, and cultivating the kind of change that aligns with your preferred future. Whether you’re navigating transition, relational strain, or identity shifts, I offer a grounded, empathetic space where your story matters.
It’s an honor to join clients in this process of re‑authoring their lives, finding coherence amid change, and discovering renewed meaning in the next page of their story.

I welcome and support people from all backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone who’s struggled to find a therapist who truly relates to them. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, and together we’ll work on building stronger connections, finding relief from painful cycles, and developing practical tools so you can create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

My goal is to offer an experience filled with encouragement, compassionate challenging, and meaningful conversations that help you identify and overcome the barriers that have been getting in your way. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen resilience, and create new pathways toward the life you want to live.
From the beginning, our therapeutic relationship is centered on partnership. My commitment is to offer individualized support that helps you move toward the version of yourself you’ve always hoped to become.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker conducting sessions virtually in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Nevada. I specialize in people that are going through tough times and need coping skills to manage. Life might have thrown you curve balls, and you might not be accepting of the uncertainty and the change. I'll be here to tell you that bad situations can be temporary and life changes can also be great. I specialize in helping people who fall down but get back up. I'll help you to talk about your feelings and help you to make treatment goals that you have been wanting to reach.
Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who helps children, teens, and adults manage anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and life transitions with compassion and practical support. In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and creating lasting change so you can feel more grounded and fulfilled.
There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).
I am distinguished by my training in Strengths Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Freedom "Tapping" technique, Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Care. I am licensed in CA, ID, VA, FL, TX, NJ, WA, and UT.
Why do we explore? So you can live a life YOU want to live!

I also work a lot with clients who are neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQ+ community. I know how important it is to feel truly seen, heard, and understood. When life shifts, your body often feels it first. You might experience a "heavy" fatigue, or a nervous system that feels permanently stuck in "fight or flight." It can be difficult to find the best tools to manage life's challenges, but learning how to regulate your mind and body can significantly improve your quality of life.
I'm Meghan, a Counselor specializing in Somatic-Informed Therapy. I believe that true resilience isn't just "mind over matter"—it's learning to listen to what your body is telling you.
My approach combines traditional clinical insight with somatic (body-based) tools and mind-body techniques. We won't just analyze your stress; we will work to discharge it from your nervous system. Whether you are navigating something new or seeking new coping tools, I provide a grounded space to help you reconnect with yourself.
In my many years of experience, I have treated a broad range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. I will use one or more of the treatment modalities to give you the best outcome in therapy.
Psychotherapy provides a safe place to discuss fears, thoughts, and difficult decisions we as humans must make during our journey in life. I believe we are capable of making life changes with the right tools. I am here to listen without judgement. I believe we all have a story to share. Being heard is one of the most important aspects of communication.
My passion is working with clients who have experienced some form of trauma in their lives. By sharing your story, we can begin to process the trauma from experience to a new understanding, while remaining in the present.

We all experience speed bumps during our life journey. Though it may seem we are "lost, “I believe the powers we are looking for are inside us.
One simply needs to be heard, feel welcome in a safe place, validated and guidance toward strengthening the emotional "muscles" that have grown weak.
Just as we exercise our bodies, we must exercise our Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual parts.
I truly believe we cannot experience long-term health unless we pay close attention to our Mind, Body and Spirit--the whole-self.
When we honor our truths, we will achieve our authentic self!
I look forward to walking with you on this indescribable journey to transformation.
May I offer a friendly reminder beautiful; NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF YOU
My name is Dr. Christine Gomes. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and I specialize in trauma treatment. I believe that we are healthiest when we turn toward ourselves with love and compassion and accept ourselves for who we truly are. I have special interests in relational and religious trauma, as well as working with people with addiction issues, severe depression, anxiety disorders, and suicidal thoughts and actions. No matter where you are in your healing journey, I hope to join you and help you see that you are not alone in the struggle. You are your greatest healer, and I will be your guide along the way.
I help clients navigate emotional struggles and transform their lives with compassionate, evidence-based therapy. I take a client centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. I am straightforward, compassionate, and understanding. I will always be truthful and upfront, with the goal of creating a supportive, safe, non-judgmental environment.
