There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes. I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement). I am distinguished by my training in Strengths Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Freedom "Tapping" technique, Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Care. I am licensed in CA, ID, VA, FL, TX, NJ, WA, and UT. Why do we explore? So you can live a life YOU want to live! ** I do not provide forensically-focused clinical services for individuals/couples involved in active litigation, divorce proceedings, or child custody disputes, nor do I provide court-ordered evaluations or expert testimony**

I work with clients who are thoughtful, introspective, and motivated to better understand themselves but may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, or uncertainty about their direction in life. Many people I work with are navigating questions related to identity, relationships, purpose, or major life transitions. My goal is to help clients gain clarity about the patterns influencing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can move forward with greater confidence and intention. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and build practical strategies that improve daily functioning. I also incorporate narrative and reflective techniques that allow clients to explore the personal stories and experiences that shape how they see themselves and the choices they make. An important part of my work involves helping clients move beyond insight and into meaningful action. Therapy often includes identifying automatic thought patterns, practicing grounding and emotional regulation strategies, and experimenting with new behaviors that align with a client’s values and long-term goals. I also use structured check-ins and evidence-based tools to track progress over time. By regularly reviewing mood patterns, emotional changes, and skill development, clients are able to see measurable progress while staying focused on what matters most to them. Clients often describe my approach as collaborative, thoughtful, and practical. Together, we create a space where clients can reflect deeply on their experiences while also developing the tools needed to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

We all experience speed bumps during our life journey. Though it may seem we are "lost, “I believe the powers we are looking for are inside us. One simply needs to be heard, feel welcome in a safe place, validated and guidance toward strengthening the emotional "muscles" that have grown weak. Just as we exercise our bodies, we must exercise our Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual parts. I truly believe we cannot experience long-term health unless we pay close attention to our Mind, Body and Spirit--the whole-self. When we honor our truths, we will achieve our authentic self! I look forward to walking with you on this indescribable journey to transformation. May I offer a friendly reminder beautiful; NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF YOU

I began my career as an elementary school teacher and later went on to open and run a preschool for 10 years. Working with children and families during those seasons taught me so much about resilience, connection, and the power of being truly seen. I was a late starter in my own therapy journey, and it was one of the bravest and most life-changing decisions I’ve ever made. Through the support of incredible therapists, I was finally able to face and heal the traumas I had carried for so long. Their compassion and wisdom inspired me deeply, so much so that I returned to graduate school to become a therapist myself. My desire is simple: to help others in the ways my therapists helped me. I believe that every person has their own story and lived experiences that shape who they are. I come to each session with an open mind and heart, meeting clients where they are with compassion, curiosity, and respect. My goal is to create a space where people feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. I’ve been married to my best friend for over 25 years, and together we have an adult daughter and two beloved fur babies. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll most likely find me out in nature, kayaking, walking trails, or simply enjoying the calm. My family and I love playing all kinds of board games, and I also enjoy reading, painting, and watching movies when I need to recharge. At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief that healing happens in safe, authentic connection and I am honored every time someone invites me to be part of that journey.

Hello! I am a licensed social worker (LICSW) who has been working in the medical setting for 9 years, helping patients and their families navigate chronic medical conditions. Because of my role at the hospital, I am also a Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker (CCTSW), meaning I have expertise in organ transplant. I have realized over my time in the hospital setting that the moments that bring me the most fulfillment are the ones where I am engaged 1:1 and providing individuals with support, therapeutic intervention, encouragement, and coaching. I decided to open a therapy practice to allow me to provide this support outside the hospital. To this end, I completed a year-long therapist training program in Expressive Arts Therapy at Seattle's Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute. I am working towards becoming a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT). Outside of work, I love being outdoors with my family, going on adventures with my nieces, thrift-store wandering, having soul-enriching conversations with friends, and finding opportunities to dance.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, currently seeing clients in the states of Arizona and Washington. I hold a Master's in Counseling and a Certificate in Domestic Violence Advocacy from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I self-identify as neurodivergent (AuDHD) and am a committed BIPOC ally. That means I bring both clinical expertise and real lived experience to the work — I understand from the inside what it means to navigate a world that wasn't built with you in mind. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real-life experience. I specialize in working with adults navigating ADHD, Autism, and the full complexity of being neurodivergent. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and major life transitions. Earlier in my career I worked in severe mental illness, clinical psychiatry, social work with homeless populations, and domestic violence advocacy — giving me a wide and deep foundation to draw from. I use evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, and ACT, always through a trauma-informed and strength-based lens. I honor the ways that culture, race, and lived experience shape mental health, and I strive to create a space where your identity is respected and your voice is heard.

I began my career in social work after having two sons with Autism and witnessing firsthand the challenges and injustices families can face. This inspired me to help others feel supported and to ensure they have someone in their corner rooting for them. I became a mental health provider because I am passionate about helping people regain their lives, find hope for better days, and overcome difficult situations and traumatic events. Life can have ups and downs, and it’s okay to ask for help and say, “this is hard.” I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and have been practicing in social work since 2006. My experience spans medical social work, counseling, and mental health, and I primarily work with adults navigating life transitions, difficult stressors (work, family, or medical), chronic health conditions, and pain. I believe that wellness is holistic — we do not get sick one way or get well one way. Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions. This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation. I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation. I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context. I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.

Welcome, I am Feven! Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage anxiety, depression and burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach; addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.  I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’ Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, trauma, PTSD, self-acceptance, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, empathy and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

Hello! My name is Max Croteau and I have had the pleasure of being a licensed professional counselor for almost 10 years now. In this time, I have been able to mold my style of understanding, accepting while also challenging and motivational into a successful model of growth and change for those who choose to work with me. I truly am a believer that therapy can sometimes be a side-by-side process, or it can be a process where one guides and the other follows, but ultimately the choice is up to you. I don’t want you to live a life that I tell you to live. I want to help you find a life that is truly a genuine fit for yourself and one that you can see yourself living without even having to think about it. I’ve specialized in addiction, OCD, trauma therapy, family and couples counseling and various other topics in the world of mental health. One important factor that I have found is that each person has their own individual story and their journey will be just as individualized. No matter how similar, we are all different. A cookie cutter approach to the rest of your life is not something that you will get from me. I will truly meet you where you are and work with you every step of the way to achieve the success that you are looking for. I always guarantee every person I work with that therapy may not be easy, but in the end, it will be incredibly worthwhile. I’d love to start and/or continue that journey. Growth has no final destination, just the journey. It’s up to you what path you’d like to take.
