Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is where we build rapport and we get to know each other and just have a general conversation of your goals and review your intake paperwork with a few baseline assessments. We then move into goal setting.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring my authentic self to a session with over 10 years of healthcare experience, over multiple different life seasons. I believe the best way to conduct therapy is meeting the client where they are at and having general conversation while integrating modalities into the casual conversation. Carl Rogers once said, " If I ever have to use a therapeutic technique and the client notices, I am not showing up for them how I wanted".

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My dream client is a person who has been through a lot in life and is looking to find their resilience. They are very motivated to get into the trench and find ways past their past and make a brighter future. They are either a person struggling with C-PTSD, PTSD, Dissociative disorders, Anxiety, Major Depressive Disorder, Men's issues, Gender identity, or Military and first responders as I am a veteran myself.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

As a therapist it is important to treat clients with care and empathy and approaching difficult pasts gently are just as important. I show empathy and care to the client, memory and emotion surrounding trauma creating a safe place to explore trauma and find resilience.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Being able to use language that helps reorganize conscious and unconscious thinking related to incidents further strengthens hypnosis or emotional work. It recodes the brains innate code of thought

EMDR

Using the bodies left and right motions helps the brain reprogram or process information faster. Think of the last time you were on the phone, and you were walking while talking to someone and it helped you process and have the difficult conversation. You were doing EMDR you just didn't realize it at the time.

Hypnotherapy

Using hypnosis and increasing the level of authentic relaxation helps you find a way to access th unconscious mind that is holding all the power to your healing and lifts the veil between the conscious and the unconscious making healing happen faster and easier for the client. This also helps rewire pain and severe trauma, suicidality and Major Depression. It is also a great way to traverse the timeline of past, present, and future life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Every emotion is a part of you. They have their own jobs and ways they handle situations. Using parts and memory we can heal the emotions stuck in memories and help them lighten the load of emotional trauma and stress. To give an example, This modality is just like the movie "Inside Out".
