I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when they are met with compassion, respect, and genuine understanding. My approach to therapy is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore life's challenges at their own pace. I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, addiction, and suicidal ideation, providing compassionate, evidence-based care during some of life's most difficult moments. I also have experience supporting military members, veterans, first responders, and couples, recognizing the unique stressors and relationship dynamics these populations often experience. Clients often describe me as inquisitive, personable, and easy to talk to. I believe that curiosity, authentic connection, and thoughtful listening are essential to understanding each person's unique story, Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I collaborate with clients to identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and develop practical strategies that foster resilience, healing, and lasting change. Whether you are navigating a life transition, working through emotional pain, strengthening your relationships, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and encouragement as you move toward the life you want to create.

I've been working in mental health for 15 years, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, Ohio, and Georgia. Most of what I do centers around anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, and PTSD — but I work with people dealing with a lot of different things, and I'm not going to tell you your situation doesn't qualify. I see kids, teens, adults, couples, and families, so if you're looking for someone who can work with your family across different ages, that's something I can do. I'm a Certified Trauma Specialist and trained in integrative mental health, which means I bring more tools to the table than just talk therapy. I'm neurodivergence-affirming and work with people across a wide range of identities and communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and single parents. A lot of my clients have been carrying something for a long time before they finally reach out — that's more common than you'd think, and it's never too late to start.

Hi, I'm Andrew Walls, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia with over nine years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and helping professionals heal from life's most difficult experiences. I earned my Master's degree from Troy University and work with clients ages 15-64 who are ready to move beyond simply surviving and begin living with greater purpose, balance, and self-compassion. Many of the people I work with are caregivers, teachers, first responders, healthcare professionals, military veterans, parents of children with special needs, and others who spend their lives caring for everyone else while quietly carrying too much themselves. They often struggle with trauma, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, or the persistent feeling that no matter how hard they try, they are never "enough." My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and tailored to your unique goals and strengths. I believe healing begins by meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we'll work to understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, strengthen your resilience, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overshadowed by stress, responsibility, or painful life experiences. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Mindful Self-Compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic techniques to help clients heal from trauma, reduce emotional distress, build healthier relationships, and develop a life guided by their values rather than their fears.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a telehealth practice licensed in Pennsylvania and Virginia, and over 23 years of experience in the mental health field working with children, teen and adults. . I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions, and I work from a warm, collaborative, and supportive approach. My work blends talk therapy with somatic practices, self-compassion, mindfulness, and pattern-tracing to help you better understand yourself and what keeps you stuck. Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in cycles of self-doubt and overthinking. Together, we slow things down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and build practical tools that support real, lasting change. I also help clients gently connect how past experiences may still be impacting present-day emotions, relationships, and self-worth, while building a more grounded and compassionate relationship with themselves.

In my practice, I utilize an integrative approach that draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities. I believe that no single therapeutic method works for everyone, which is why I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. My toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which focuses on building skills for emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness; Person-Centered therapy, which emphasizes empathy and unconditional positive regard; Solution-Focused therapy, which concentrates on finding practical solutions to present challenges; EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is particularly effective for trauma processing; and Psychoeducation, which empowers clients with knowledge about their conditions and coping strategies.

I am a firm believer that every encounter in our life causes change in all parties involved, no matter how small the encounter. Even if the client and I agree or disagree about us being a good fit we are both changed. We might not notice the change at first, but it's there. I try to bring my 100% to every session and I hope my clients do the same with the understanding that our 100% changes everyday due to life situations. I do share personal experiences with clients if it is appropriate to do so and I feel it would benefit the client. I am a mom of three young children and a wife, so I understand how life can get busy and overwhelming at times. I live to call these times our Life's Storms and just by getting through the day(s) even if it just barely getting by; by clients choosing to try to continue on even at the hardest points in the Life's Storms they are Braving Life's Storms. This doesn't mean that are aren't time when clients will have thoughts of wanting to just pause life, or run away and start over because that is normal and coming to counseling to seek help is brave and hard in and of itself.

I am a qualified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC). I help clients determine whether their loved one might have a pathological condition, to understand what that means, how to avoid such relationships in the future, reduce their internal conflict, and determine whether they want to end the relationship or manage it. Often, my clients have a relationship with a person who has no diagnosable condition, yet the relationship would be considered "toxic" in that it repeatedly causes my client emotional distress. I am excited to provide perspectives and strategies to assist. I grew up in Florida and graduated from FSU with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. I began my career in a county jail mental health unit, where I became proficient in crisis intervention, assessments, and group therapy. Since then, I have worked at an air force base, offering therapy to individuals and families, as well as a substance/mental health rehab program for the Veteran's Administration. I have also volunteered with survivors of gun violence who are grieving and/or coping with trauma. I love being a therapist! I am an African American woman with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and more than 6 years providing outpatient therapy in the state of Virginia. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2018. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in serving individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, with a strong commitment to culturally responsive, ethical, and compassionate care. My work centers on supporting individuals who struggle with identity, self-worth, and negative or distorted beliefs about themselves. Many of the clients I serve feel disconnected from who they are, shaped by past trauma, life transitions, systemic barriers, or repeated experiences of disappointment and loss. I help clients explore these experiences, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop a healthier, more authentic sense of self. Through a strength-based, client-centered, and evidence-informed approach, I work collaboratively with clients to uncover their inner resilience, increase self-awareness, and build emotional insight. Therapy is a space where clients are encouraged to show up fully—without judgment—while learning practical tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, and make empowered decisions aligned with their values and goals. As a clinician, I believe healing is not only about symptom reduction, but also about reclaiming identity, restoring confidence, and learning how to live with intention and purpose. My goal is to create a safe, affirming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward growth, clarity, and long-term emotional wellness.

Hello, My name is Keith, I have been working with youth and adolescents in the mental health field for about thirteen years. I have worked with young people suffering from traumatic experiences (PTSD), to include physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. I have assisted young people with symptoms associated with depression and anxiety. Also, I have experience in assisting young people with self-esteem/self-worth issues. I have helped young people who are suicidal and with individuals suffering from psychotic disorders. Further, I have assisted young people with tension within the home setting and ways he or she can navigate these feelings in a healthy manner. Personally, I have two daughters that are my world and a very spoiled elderly dog. I enjoy sports, working out, and being outdoors. I have been described as very easy going and easy to talk to. In my practice, the client comes first, and the conversation goes where he or she would like it to.

Hey there! I'm Jessie! Do you feel like you're carrying a bunch of unnecessary thought baggage around? Like your destination is the beach in life, but for some reason you keep bringing a parka that doesn't fit anymore though you think it still does? Or do you feel like you're down in the dumps and can't seem to find a way to climb out? Or do you notice yourself beating yourself up worse than a punching bag? If so, we can work on that! I work well with people who want to have a better relationship with themselves, others and the world around them, but are having a difficult time doing so. In the work I do with my clients, I help people evaluate and challenge the thought processes that influence their emotions and actions to see how these beliefs serve them. And if those thoughts don't quite help a client get where they would like to go in life, I guide clients in identifying more helpful thoughts that do serve them and where they want to go in life. Whether you have experienced trauma, have had a lot of unsupportive family members/significant people in your life, or perhaps you are your own worst critic, I'm here to help you look at yourself and your thoughts in a more realistic manner. Instead of allowing the past to dictate your present and future, I'm here to help put you back in the driver's seat of your life
