LICSW, 8 years of experience
You took the hardest step today; your healing journey can begin. The space I hold for you is individualized to acknowledge you, support you, and encourage you to be your greatest advocate and to help you figure out what you need. My style is open and educative. I work to help you become independent in your healing journey. I am versatile in the range of clients that I take ( age and lifestyle, or issue). Persons with pelvic pain disorders please feel free to consult with me ( pain with sex, Pudendal Neuralgia, Vulvodynia, resistance/anxiety towards pelvic physical therapy exercises). I have sex therapy training specifically in this area.
First session is our intake and we use this time to see if we are compatible as therapist and client. We will consult before our session to talk over preparation for the first session. Ground rules, expectations of therapy.
My biggest strengths include working with those who struggle with low self esteem, chronic pain, intimacy issues, sexual trauma, women's health issues ( pelvic pain, endometriosis, pain during sex etc). * Those who may be first generation American/ navigating dual cultures * Everyday life stressors such as work, financial, health related * Intimate family or friend, relationship stressors or conflicts * Difficult life transitions and adjustments, such as job changes, divorce, deaths, moves, etc.
Chronic Pain/Pain during sex (pelvic pain conditions, such as vulvodynia, hypertonic pelvic floor, and pudendal neuralgia). Women's health issues (endometriosis) Low Self Esteem Sexual Trauma Incest Survivors
