I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina, with over 8 years of experience walking alongside individuals ages 16–55+ through life’s challenges. My passion is helping people navigate stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, mood changes, and the lingering effects of trauma.
I feel especially honored to work with those recovering from narcissistic relationships or past trauma, who are now ready to rediscover and rebuild their sense of self after years of putting others’ needs before their own. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with your authentic self.
My therapy style is collaborative, warm, and supportive—I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you as you move toward your goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we will find strategies and tools that fit who you are and support lasting change.
I know how overwhelming it can be to struggle with anxiety, depression, and burnout—especially when past help hasn’t felt like the right fit. My approach is eclectic and person-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs. I integrate Narrative Therapy, Bibliotherapy, IFS, DBT, TF-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, with Christian integration available upon request. I’ve worked in mental health since 2007 and earned my degree from Liberty University in 2022. I understand the complexities of deep emotions, neurodiversity, and personal growth, and I create a space where you feel truly seen and heard. If you’re looking for a therapist who values your individuality and meets you where you are, I’d be honored to support you.
When counseling, I look at the whole person not just the current situation. I take time to get to know you and understand your situation and/or concerns. I treat all my clients with the utmost respect and compassion. I use motivational skills to help my patients see their strengths and help them create achievable goals. I believe in breaking the big goal into smaller goals that lead to meeting that larger goal. I believe this creates positive reinforcement for my clients and improves their emotional health, during what could be a difficult time in their life. I look forward to helping you improve your mental health, one step at a time.
I have 8 years of experience working with ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, substance abuse and co-occurring.

I began my journey as a therapist while I was Active Duty military and I saw firsthand how trauma was so prominent whether from childhood and/or combat related. With the different treatment options available, I feel that I have an opportunity to help in the healing journey for anyone seeking therapy. I have been licensed for 7 years and have experience treating individuals who have experienced trauma through work, childhood, or adulthood. I offer daytime availability to individuals who may work evenings, professionals, caregivers, or students.
I have been independently licensed since 2016. I have worked in many areas of social work so my knowledge in the field is very diverse. I have worked out patient, hospital and in patient. I am trained in EMDR and can provide CBT and psycho therapy.
I offer therapy that focuses on what you need to live your life to its fullest. I can treat trauma, anxiety, depression and many other diagnoses that clients struggle with. I hope to be able to help you. I try very hard to make my sessions tailored to what you as a client need. I am very person centered and i want to make this experience as therapeutic as I can.
We are all unique, and so is what we need. My therapeutic approach is holistic mixed with a cognitive-humanistic style designed with the client as the center. I do not tell you what is best for you or what direction you should be going in, instead I help you determine what you want, where you want to be, and how you will get there. Then I support you on that journey by providing the encouragement, support, information, and realness needed to stay focused and succeed.
Hello and welcome. I really enjoy getting to know people and building genuine connections as we move through the ups and downs of life together. In our work, we might focus on relationships, managing stress, improving communication, navigating life transitions, and finding steadiness with emotions and thoughts. We can also make space to understand past experiences, explore patterns in dating and intimacy, and work toward a more balanced and meaningful life. I’m especially interested in the parts of ourselves that don’t always get attention—the quieter or “hidden” pieces that often have a lot to teach us. If you’re willing to show up as you are, I’ll meet you there with care and consistency. Thank you for being here.

I am Aaliyah Holiday, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Christie's Circle PLLC, a virtual therapy practice built specifically with Black adults in mind.
I created this practice because I believe that Black men and women deserve a therapeutic space that does not require them to code-switch, over-explain, or shrink their experiences to be understood. A space where your grief is taken seriously, your faith is respected without judgment, and your cultural identity is seen as a strength rather than a footnote.
My work is rooted in grief therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based healing. I specialize in supporting Black adults who are carrying hidden grief, whether that is the loss of a relationship, a miscarriage, a career, an identity, or a version of themselves that quietly slipped away. I also work with Black professionals who are burned out, overwhelmed, and struggling to hold everything together while rarely making space for their own emotional needs.
As a Certified Grief-Informed Professional, I bring both clinical training and genuine compassion to every session. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and culturally responsive approaches, including racial trauma treatment, to help clients move from survival mode into a place of real emotional stability and peace.
For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling that honors your faith while holding space for any complicated feelings you may have about the church. Healing here is never one size fits all.
I provide virtual therapy sessions to clients in Texas, Virginia, and Maine. If you are ready for a therapist who truly gets it, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
