Hi, I am a Licensed counselor practicing in Virginia. I graduated from Radford University with my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 1992, becoming licensed in 2002. Throughout my years of experience, the most important skill that I feel that I have been able to succeed in is listening to the individuals I work with. So often people do not feel heard, so it is important for people to not only feel heard but also that they are effectively communicating what they are feeling.

At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. In our work together, we’ll create a safe, open space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions without judgment.
When I’m not in session, you can find me enjoying my favorite music or cheering on my favorite football team, it’s part of how I recharge and stay grounded.
When you’re ready, I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you. Let’s start the conversation toward your well-being.
I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. I know how overwhelming it can be to struggle with anxiety, depression, and burnout—especially when past help hasn’t felt like the right fit. My approach is eclectic and person-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs. I integrate Narrative Therapy, Bibliotherapy, IFS, DBT, TF-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, with Christian integration available upon request. I’ve worked in mental health since 2007 and earned my degree from Liberty University in 2022. I look forward to your call so that we can get started on our journey together.
Hi, I'm Jay. I'm a cognitive-behavioral therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I excel at helping people with mood-, relationship-, and trauma-related issues. I have advanced training from the Feeling Good Institute and continue to train in CBT and other approaches.
I provide data-driven care. We'll track your mood before and after each session. We'll also track your satisfaction with our therapy sessions so we can make adjustments to make it as optimal as possible. This is also the primary way that I improve as a therapist - with your immediate feedback.
We'll use Google Drive as our hub for your therapeutic growth. You'll have your homework and session tracker, data tracker, and all of our customized work together in one place to take with you after we complete therapy together.
I see people weekly, or biweekly, for hour long sessions. The vast majority of people will experience significant improvement in their areas of concern in just 3-4 sessions.

Hello! I am an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based out of Lynchburg VA where I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. For 4 years I have been practicing with this degree as well as practicing therapy techniques previously before receiving my degree. I focus on helping individuals challenge the parts of their life that cause the most distress and becoming empowered in order to continue practicing healthy coping and thought regulation. I strive to help those around me achieve a version on themselves that is less impacted by their struggles and more focused on their strengths.
You may feel desperate, alone, and misunderstood. You feel like you are floating in the bottom of a lake and cannot see the light above you. Everyday, you feel like you are just going through the motions. If this describes you, then I may be the therapist for you. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I have helped people like you reach their potential and achieve the recovery that they needed. There is no set system or quick fix as others may promise, but I will walk down the road with you. My primary focus is on helping you deal with ambiguity. Often our thoughts and subsequently what we teach ourselves becomes rigid and fairly black and white. Using a pragmatic and authentic approach to therapy I try and help you be okay with things that are beyond your control and work with you to establish yourself as the protagonist in your own story. This is primarily accomplished through conversation and allowing you the client to guide the therapy in the direction it needs to go.

Hello and welcome! I'm Sue Ann McCray, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University in 2017 and bring over eight years of experience supporting individuals navigating a wide range of life challenges. My clinical background includes working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, individuals coping with anxiety and depression, and those processing grief and loss. I have also had the privilege of supporting individuals in early recovery from substance use within an inpatient residential treatment setting. Throughout my career, I’ve provided both individual and group therapy.
At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to creating a therapeutic space rooted in compassion, warmth, acceptance, and respect. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, aiming to foster self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. In our work together, I’ll walk alongside you as you navigate your unique path toward growth and healing—offering guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Master Addiction Counselor with over 23 years of professional experience working with both military and civilians. I have worked in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, inpatient and outpatient clinics, and extensive work with the military. I work with adults (18+) individually and couples to address stress, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, and PTSD. Techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Prolonged Exposure.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
If you’re looking for someone who will sit back while you unravel your life's chaos alone, I’m not your person. But if you want someone who gently calls you out, celebrates your wins (even the small ones like doing laundry), and hands you actual tools (not just tissues), welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, which is fancy for I help you identify the unhelpful thoughts doing donuts in your brain, and together we kick them out and get you moving forward.
I proudly support the LGBTQIA2+ community, and my practice is affirming, inclusive, and kink/poly-friendly. No judgment here, ever! Whether you're dealing with anxiety that won't shut up, depression that's overstayed its welcome, or you’re just trying to get it together-ish, we can work on making real, sustainable change.
You bring the honesty. I’ll bring the dry humor, the empathy, and the occasional metaphor that doesn’t totally land but somehow still helps. Remember YOU>it.
Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with 10 years of experience. I am specialized in helping people with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, self esteem issues, and women’s issues. Each session is client centered, and I utilize different approaches based on your unique needs. Some modalities I use include Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma focused therapy, mindfulness based therapy, and solution focused therapy. I see clients aged 18 and older for individual therapy via Telehealth.
My name is Bethany Gravely. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018. I continue to feel the same passion for my job now as I did when I first started.
I am so proud of you for taking the first step to talk about your mental health. Choosing the right therapist can be a rewarding experience, but also scary. It is my job to help you navigate the stressors of life and explore different ways for you to cope with them. We all experience stress on some level so your feelings are valid and worth discussing with someone who truly cares!
My style of counseling allows for you to be in charge of your therapy. If you want helpful reading material, evidenced based practices, solutions or just a listening ear, my goal is to help you with where you are today. You are not a burden. You are not undeserving. You are not broken, or a mess to be cleaned up. You are so endlessly enough.
When I’m not working, I am spending time with my husband, our two little ones, our 3 dogs, and our cat. We just recently bought a 40 acre farm and spend our free time making it our forever home! We are hopeful to bring in larger farm animals in the upcoming years and learn to homestead!
Welcome!
I came to this work a little differently than some. After spending 16 years in my first career, I found myself sitting across from a therapist for the first time. That experience changed my life. It gave me not only a new perspective on myself but also a deep desire to help others in the same way. So, I made a big leap: I went back to school to become a therapist myself.
Since then, it’s been over two decades of meaningful, often humbling work. I spent 21 years in community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment, and I was fortunate to serve as a contracted therapy provider for the Department of Defense—work that gave me a profound respect for the strength and resilience of those who serve. I’ve also worked in private group practice and provided therapy in intensive outpatient programs in Canada, gaining experience with a wide range of individuals and challenges along the way.
In November 2021, I opened my own private practice. It’s been an incredible privilege to support individuals and couples in this more personal setting, and I truly value the relationships I build with each client. If you’re considering therapy, I want you to know you're not alone—and change really is possible.
