My style is honest and direct, while still offering a safe and supportive space with no judgment. This has helped teens and adults learn new tools, self-reflect, and dig deep so they can grow and create the changes that they seek. . I encourage people to actively participate in therapy and expect effort in making changes to achieve your goals. Some approaches include CBT, DBT, client-focused, short-term solution-focused, strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and integrative mental health methods (i.e. breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, PMR, body scan, etc). For clients new to therapy, keep in mind it may sometimes require stepping outside of your comfort zone by learning new tools that you may have not tried before, hearing a different perspective you may have not considered, and even talking about concerns that may be difficult to process, but it does get easier with time. I am a board-certified therapist in multiple states and over 20 years of counseling experience, with a proven success of reaching remission in Depression with my clients in one session; this is within the 95th percentile of clinicians measured. I am passionate about effecting change and helping work with people to achieve insight in order to gain maximum potential and reach their most desired visions and goals. I know personally and professionally, how difficult it is to get here and I am proud of your first step and commitment to change. I know I can be of valued support as we work together to reach success, insight, and overcome emotional and psychosocial stressors. A little more about me; I was born and raised in Florida. I did my undergraduate at Florida State University, and moved to Virginia to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School, where I studied clinical counseling and received my Master’s in Art Therapy. As a military spouse, we relocated many times, having to redevelop my career each duty station, which gave me a myriad of experiences with various populations. This has lead me to focus on occupational counseling and the effects of stress on our mental health. My passion for treatment is trauma and life experiences that lead us to feel fearful, unsafe, and saddened; sometimes with no explanation as to why we feel the way we do. I work with my client’s in a person-centered format with cognitive-behavioral underpinnings and psychoeducation to not only work through and build a better understanding of ourselves but the experiences and beliefs that built us and ways to endure and build resiliency to better manager those feelings so they are not as overwhelming in the future.

My name is Brytni Johnson. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) born and raised in Texas (always in and around "DFW”). I have been working with people: moms and dads; sons and daughters; brothers and sisters; even grandparents for as long as I can remember. I realized just over 12 years ago, I wanted to "help people." I wanted to become educated and trained; learn how to better explore and accentuate my natural skills, while also being able to understand and develop new skills to best assist my clients. In 2012, I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work. In 2016, I graduated with my Master of Social Work. Shortly after graduating, I obtained my LMSW licensure, and have been practicing in a licensed, professional environment for the past 7 years. After obtaining my license, it was then, my "toolbelt" (yes, toolbelt) gained its first tool. From there, I began working towards building my clinical knowledge in order to obtain my clinical license as a social worker. I obtained my LCSW licensure June 2022; shortly after completing over 3,000 clock hours and over 100 clinical supervision hours.

“Fortunate are those who take the first steps.” - Paulo Coelho. My goal is to help others embrace life’s journeys and promote wellness. A great moment in therapy happens when you take steps to become the best version of yourself and feel worthy. My name is Dr. Linda Timme. I am a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified by the National Board of Social Work in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I am a Bilingual Clinical Therapist with over 15+ years of experience in mental health and specialize in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Disorder, complex trauma that results from grief and loss, domestic violence, among other traumatic events. Life transitions are difficult and can result in situations such as cultural adjustment, prejudice/discrimination, decreased self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. I base my therapy on a powerful blend of traditional, holistic approaches that are client-centered and evidence-based. These techniques are proven to be effective in treating multiple and co-occurring conditions.
