(she/her)
With over 14 years of experience in the field of mental health and school counseling, I have been fortunate to gain a wealth of knowledge working with individuals 5 to 65! Utilizing my education gained from VSU, VCU and Walden University, I pride myself in the ability to use a variety of treatment modalities, shining a unique perspective within the field! Life is a journey you don't have to endure alone. Support is always available!
Your first session is all about getting started and helping you feel comfortable. We'll review any necessary paperwork, discuss confidentiality, answer any questions you may have about the counseling process, and take care of a few housekeeping items. Most importantly, we'll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you to therapy. You'll have the opportunity to share your concerns, experiences, strengths, and what you hope to gain from counseling. Together, we'll begin identifying your needs and goals so we can create a plan that feels right for you and supports your journey toward growth and healing.
I pride myself on taking a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients recognize and build upon the positive qualities, skills, and supports already present in their lives. I strive to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and sharing openly. My goal is to ensure that each session provides value, encouragement, and practical tools that support growth and lasting change. I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths, increase motivation, and develop a greater sense of purpose as they work toward their personal goals.

I identify as
Eclectic
Eclectic therapy allows clinicians to draw from multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities rather than relying on a single theoretical orientation. This approach provides flexibility to tailor interventions to each client's unique needs, strengths, cultural background, presenting concerns, and treatment goals. By integrating techniques from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Family Systems Therapy, therapists can respond more effectively to the complexity of real-life challenges. The eclectic approach promotes individualized care, enhances client engagement, and increases the likelihood of positive treatment outcomes by matching interventions to what is most beneficial for the client at a given point in treatment.
