Hello There!! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in the state of Virginia. I received my masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and have been providing mental health services to diverse populations for more than 17 years. I primarily work with adolescents, young adults and adults struggling with whatever life throws at them to support them in becoming a better version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The primary aim of the first session is to establish a strong therapeutic alliance, gather essential information, set goals, and collaboratively plan the course of therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having been in the field for over 17 years, I have built and strengthened my skill set and abilities to work with anyone between the ages of 4-70. My greatest strengths include being empathetic, compassionate, and actively listening to my clients to ensure they feel heard and understood. I provide a non-judgmental attitude and ensure I provide cultural competence while maintaining ethical standards. I believe everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. I am emotionally intelligent with strong and transparent communication skills to ensure we are able to problem solve and utilize analytical skills.

Ultimately, I am best positioned to serve clients who are motivated and open to engaging in the therapeutic process. These clients are seeking support, insight, and tools to navigate life's challenges and enhance their overall well-being.
