Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Florida, Oregon, Kansas (LSCSW), New Hampshire, and Texas. I received my Master's degree from Louisiana State University and have been practicing for 9 years. I help adults find ways to heal their anxiety and depression, help them become more self-aware, and to stop negative thinking, so they can become the best versions of themselves. I help adults ages 18+ struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, suicidal ideations, self-harm, grief/loss, and life transitions.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal, Narrative, Supportive, Compassionate, Grief, and various others depending on your needs. I help clients stay in the present moment (utilizing other techniques) as this can be very difficult to do in our busy lives today.
I became a social worker because I want to help people feel better about themselves and their lives. I no longer wanted to be "just an employee" and work for a large organization. I wanted to use my strengths and abilities to help others because it would be challenging and rewarding. Therapy is a form of "self-care", and we will work together as a team to address your specific challenges, goals, and needs. I am dedicated, passionate, and caring.
I also conduct emotional support animal evaluations in Florida, Texas, New Hampshire, Kansas, and Oregon. If you would like more information about me or getting an emotional support animal evaluation completed, please visit my website at instillinghopepsychotherapy.com.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Sam Houston State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing for 10 years. My style of therapy focuses on realistic principles and understanding to one’s environment and circumstances, unconditional positive regard, and achieving goals. I can help you develop and learn coping strategies to propel you forward into your best self.
I believe that understanding what to do with our trauma is the key to end needless suffering in order to improve your quality of life.
I specialize in heavy life transitions or "tough times". Did you know your insurance will cover therapy sessions for life transitions or adjustments even if you don't have a textbook diagnosis of anxiety or depression? I bring 28 years of experience working in mental health, so you can feel confident you are in capable hands. I want to help you crawl out of the hole you've been in, whether you created it or someone/something else did. I made the switch to a virtual practice in 2015 and never looked back. Therapy should be accessible and affordable for all. Here's what my average client comes to me for...break ups, contemplating divorcing, post partum adjustment, grief due to a death of a loved one, trauma history, work burn-out, can't sleep, can't relax, can't stay organized, can't get along with their family, caregiver fatigue etc. And for clarity here's who I don't work with...anyone less than 18 years-old, couples (although I very occasionally invite a spouse/partner to a session to work on a specific issue) , untreated (as in meds) Bipolar disorder, or heavy drug or alcohol abuse. Thank you for checking out my page and I hope to see you soon! ( instagram is @cypresstxtherapist )

Greetings, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas with a Master’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and over sixteen years of experience providing mental health counseling services.
I specialize in working with women, men, children, adolescents, and families who are navigating trauma, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, anxiety, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and client-centered, creating a safe space where individuals and families can feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I am passionate about helping clients heal from past experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, improve communication, and develop healthier coping strategies. Together, we work toward building confidence, emotional balance, stronger relationships, and meaningful personal growth.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative journey that encourages healing, self-discovery, and lasting change. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I am committed to helping you move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards healing, despite feeling worried or unsure, perhaps even hopeful, despite misgivings. Choosing to change is difficult, and you are doing it!! With 26 years of practice, I bring professional expertise, personal understanding, sincerity, warmth and caring to your healing journey. Whether you’re navigating life solo or in a relationship, unresolved childhood trauma can quietly shape your patterns, reactions, and relationships. I help individuals and couples uncover those early wounds and start healing—through psychotherapy grounded in neuroscience and mindfulness. Because healing isn’t just talk; it’s nervous system deep. The body keeps the score, but you get to rewrite the story. Let’s create the life you were always meant to live. Not all therapies or therapists are created equal, as you know if you are still struggling with the same issues. Time for a change.
If you want to feel better about yourself, confident, excited about life, build healthier relationships, and become your best self, welcome to creating your best life. Together, we'll integrate Mind/Body/Spirit approaches with classical therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs.
No matter how strong we are, we all need a little help finding our way. If you're feeling stuck, anxious, or struggling with past experiences, you don’t have to go through it all on your own. Whether you're looking to improve your relationship, manage stress or improve your conflict resolution skills, I will provide a safe and judgment-free space where you can grow and heal at your own pace.

Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be.
As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.

Hello, my name is Jeremiah Henderson. I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in the state of Texas. I have experience working with depression, grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, low motivation, trauma, and anger. It is important to realize that we are all prone to experience life stressors and negative emotions that can knock us down; however, I want us to work to develop skills and coping mechanisms to assist in helping to pull ourselves back to a point of stability. Getting to a place of happiness and stability is not something we can stumble on by accident, it will take deliberate work to get there and even harder work to maintain it. Let me help you get to the finish line.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
I am in private practice in Dallas.

My post-graduate experience with Mental Illness focuses on suicide prevention, intervention for Bi-Polar and Borderline Personality Disorders as well as trauma-related disorders. I completed extensive training in Life Skills, a cognitive psycho-educational program used in the aftermath of crisis situations such as Columbine.
I've worked with the Dallas Diagnostic Association, Brookhaven Psychiatric Pavilion, and been an adjunct professor for graduate students at TWU and Texas Wesleyan University.

I graduated from University of Southern California and have been working in mental health for the past 11 years. Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I spent years specializing in trauma-focused therapy and have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. This year I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR to more of a person-centered approach addressing men’s issues, as well as working mainly with with First Responders, Veterans, Active Duty personnel as well as couples.
I guide the client in the direction of healing or self actualization incorporating Cognitive Processing , Jungian therapy and Attachment-Based therapy. “Jungian”refers to the psychological doctrines and analytical therapy developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It helps to uncover hidden forces driving human behavior by integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, ultimately striving toward authenticity and personal wholeness. Attachment Based therapy is a form of counseling that explores how your early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult attachment style.
In addition to individual therapy I have worked with couples using the Gottman Method. It is a structured, research-based approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It aims to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers.
If you are seeing me through an EAP or have a limited amount of therapy sessions I also do Solution Focused Brief Therapy where we don’t look at the past as much as we look towards the future and what you want to envision. With my help you can get there.

I have been a therapist for over 30 years and have worked with clients on a myriad of issues including anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, perinatal loss and other women’s issues. I truly look forward to the opportunity of working together and hope we will talk soon. You are not alone.
If you're a high-functioning, driven person who looks like you have it together—but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone.
You may be used to being the strong one… the dependable one… the one everyone leans on. But lately, it’s starting to feel exhausting.
You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling to set boundaries without guilt, or constantly pushing through your day while feeling mentally drained. At some point, coping stops feeling like living.
Clients who work with me often go from:
• Constant overthinking → feeling more mentally clear and present
• People-pleasing → setting boundaries with confidence
• Anxiety-driven decisions → trusting themselves
• Emotional exhaustion → feeling more balanced and in control
The time we spend together will be collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you.
You don’t have to keep pushing through this alone. If you're ready for meaningful change, I’d be honored to work with you.
