Hello,
Please know that I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for you where you will find your voice and tell your story, for which you are the expert. Thank you for sharing information about yourself. I'm delighted that you've reached out for help. I am Dr. P. Myria Bailey Whitcomb. I hold an LCSW license in Pennsylvania, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling. I have 11 years of experience in the field, holding a diverse range of positions, including Hospice and grief. I strive to be a well-rounded practitioner who can meet my clients' needs to live a holistic life of wellness and gratitude.
My roles have included case management, management, and professional counseling. The numerous professional opportunities I have experienced with various populations has allowed me to find a place to dedicate myself to a career of serving exceptional individuals and working with numerous health care providers in the community.
My approach is holistic and refers to the whole-person rather than focusing on specific ailments, although topic specific symptoms will also be addressed and discussed as necessary.
Hi there! I have been working in the mental health field since graduating with my Master’s in Counseling in 2015. I began my counseling career providing evidence-based family therapies for several years before transitioning to individual counseling. I take an eclectic approach to therapy because everyone is unique and deserves treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. I love connecting with my clients and helping them develop a more compassionate view of themselves, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in their ability to live the life they want. If you think we may be a good fit, I’d love for you to reach out so we can connect.
I believe in the saying, “If you give a man a fish he eats for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime.” I teach techniques that can be implemented to overcome current hurdles and are also transferrable to be used in the future as needs arise.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to meet them where they are and learn their goals and aspirations so that we can develop a plan together to overcome obstacles. I have experience and enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. My work is focused on helping individuals and families that are struggling with mood and learning disorders, anxiety, trauma, and other challenges.
I primarily practice psychodynamic techniques, and also incorporate CBT, mindfulness, trauma focused, Family Dynamics, Family Systems, and other modalities as appropriate.
I have diverse experience working with children, families, and adults across settings including schools, homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, family court and juvenile justice systems, as well as those involved with DHS, foster care, and the adoption process.
Working with individuals & families experiencing and living with health challenges and/or disabilities is of particular interest to me.
I specialize in treating adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety; depression; trauma; PTSD; grief/loss; relationship problems; transition difficulties; substance abuse; or if you just feel stuck.
I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including private practice, community mental health, the school system, and government/military mental health.
I'm so glad you took the first step and started looking for help. I look forward to helping you make the change that will enable you to find the joy in the simple things and live a more rewarding and fulfilling life.
My name is Amanda Kriger, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, earned in 2016. I’ve been providing therapy services since then and obtained my LPC license in 2022. My experience includes working with adults facing substance use and co-occurring disorders, as well as individuals involved in the criminal justice system. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with clients of all ages—including children, adolescents, and adults—in both individual and group settings. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a clinical supervisor for pre-licensed clinicians, supporting their growth and professional development. I’m currently completing certification training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Complex Trauma, further enhancing my ability to help clients build resilience, emotional regulation, and healing in their lives.
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 12 years of clinical experience and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. My work is grounded in existential therapy, with a particular focus on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals as they navigate identity, meaning, grief, and life transitions. I believe deeply in the capacity for LGBTQ+ people not just to survive, but to thrive, and my passion lies in walking alongside clients as they explore what a more authentic and fulfilling life can look like for them.
My approach is thoughtful, reflective, and relational. Rather than positioning myself as an expert with answers, I join clients as a fellow traveler. I approach each encounter as curious, present, and attuned, creating space for exploration, understanding, and self-compassion.
Life these days can feel like you are on a roller coaster that doesn’t stop. This can lead to having very intense emotions, ones that feel overwhelming, scary, hopeless. Maybe you are feeling extreme loneliness? Feeling so stressed that it’s hard to focus, or you just don’t feel like doing much of anything lately. Intense negative feelings can affect your relationships, sleep, and job or school performance. For some, anxiety or sadness can lead to outbursts of anger or feelings of worthlessness inside. It is important to learn about yourself, what is causing these feelings, and to know that there are solutions.
I have worked with adolescents and adults for many years to to gain control of their lives. By building a safe and supportive environment for people to learn about themselves and to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions, I help my clients identify these issues more clearly and work to find realistic solutions to their problems.
In these more stressful times it is understandable to feel out of sorts and to reach out for help. There is no shame in this, as a matter of fact it takes great courage to do so. I provide a safe caring environment through online therapy. You can begin the process of learning about yourself from your home. You can begin to heal, return to being productive
Hi! I'm a Licenced Professional Counsellor (LPC) and Holistic Sex Therapist (HST) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Master from Kutztown University, and my certification in Sex Therapy from ISEE and have been practicing for over 10 years. I help couples and individuals work through mental health and sexual issues. I use a variety of techniques to ensure you are able to meet the goals that we set up so you can feel successful
Hi! My name is Jessica and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Do you feel like you don’t have enough time to take care of yourself? Are you giving so much to others that there’s no time left for you? Are some of these relationships one-sided and go against your personal boundaries?
I have a passion for helping individuals identify and shift patterns that no longer serve them, heal from toxic relationships, and explore their true identity.
A safe and nurturing space is what I strive to cultivate for my clients. In my opinion, this must come first in order to set the foundation for a successful therapeutic experience. I’m so excited to start working with you!
Hi there, I’m Rebecca!
Do you feel weighed down by day to day task and activities? Finding it hard to balance life and unable be to kind to yourself. Are you or your loved one struggling with anxiety or depression? If you find it difficult to make friends and experience loneliness regularly as a result, come talk to me. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and build meaningful social connections.
I strive to create a safe place to support your efforts to grow and heal. I know no single approach is right for everyone and/so utilizes an eclectic approach tailored to your unique needs to help you meet your goals. I am a listening ear that meets with you with compassion while incorporating a variety of evidence-based therapies. Let’s work together.
I can help you navigate through change: job loss, grief, family estrangement, divorce/breakup, gender exploration, working on anxious attachment or people-pleasing. Together, we can work to integrate trauma, depression, anxiety and other symptoms into a life that feels worthwhile, however you define that. There's definitely more than one path for healing, and what can look like stability to some can be uncomfortably stifling to others. I will utilize a combination of narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, DBT/CBT skills (very optional!), feminist therapy and insight-oriented therapy to help you find your way forward.
My biggest rule in therapy is "no trauma shaming." That is, if you are sharing your trauma and include a qualifier such as "other people have it worse," I will remind you that your trauma is valid! Surviving trauma is difficult enough; shame is a log lying on the train tracks. We can move it, and move forward, with the correct equipment.

I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected—especially during life transitions, relationship stress, or seasons of burnout. Hi, I'm Cory Ian Shafer, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with my Masters in Counseling. I have been practicing professionally in the counseling field since 2005 and have worked in the mental health field since 1999.
I approach therapy primarily as a Jungian-Existentialist, however, I also realize that many clients may need different approaches to achieve their success, and because of that I also incorporate an eclectic approach towards therapy in addition to my primary school of thought, therefore I can utilize many different modalities and approaches of therapy depending on the what you need in your sessions.
My specializations are working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and grief counseling. I also like to write a little bit and have published a few books concerning the human condition. On the personal side of things I lead a simple and quiet life, where I enjoy reading history, science fiction and philosophy books, playing the bass guitar, listening to music, traveling and amateur astronomy.

Hi there, I'm Kaitlin
Do you feel pulled in a million direction? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself?
I help high performers manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a person-centered approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, stressed, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
I’m dedicated to helping my clients heal and thrive. I integrate a growth mindset approach, expressive arts, and trauma-informed techniques to support clients in overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, PTSD, and narcissistic abuse. With a strong background in arts, education, substance use disorder treatment, and family systems therapy, I help clients navigate complex dynamics and rediscover their inner resilience. My practice emphasizes creativity, self-compassion, and transformative growth, fostering a space for meaningful healing and personal transformation.
Currently in group and private practice, I have a background in family-based, inpatient dual diagnosis substance use disorders, at risk populations, domestic violence services, and expressive arts.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Peters. I am a transplanted Canadian, who has been living in Pennsylvania since 2001, just before 9/11. I have been a therapeutic specialist in the field for over 17 years.
Reaching out to a professional can be daunting, but once you do, having that support and learning tools to help change those painful feelings becomes invaluable. My practice is small, isolated and private. I serve adolescents and adults 14 and up.
Currently, I am only seeing clients through telehealth, but I am hoping this does not dissuade you. Telehealth may sound impersonal, but in reality, it can be a very convenient, safe and secure way to communicate issues, and I have yet to have any difficulties establishing strong relationships through this medium.
My name is Susan. Thank you for stopping by. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Pennsylvania for 25 years. Additionally, 15 years of my career have included providing clinical supervision for aspiring clinicians. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including adults, couples and families, specializing in anxiety, depression, grief and relationship issues. My approach in providing therapy combines evidence based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution focused therapy with a compassionate and collaborative style to create a safe space for growth and healing.
As a social worker dedicated to helping others maximize their abilities, I am eager to work with others who are looking to manage life enough to feel successful for themselves through SMALL CHANGES. Recognizing that life is busy, hectic, demanding, and complicated, I am here to help you streamline aspects of your life by managing your THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, and BEHAVIORS. I prefer BRIEF INTERVENTIONS (short-term episodes of care) and explore SOLUTION-FOCUSED STRATEGIES.
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from Mount Aloysius College and have been practicing for a little over 3 years. My background stems from being an inpatient counselor working with drug and alcohol clients, as well as mental health. I found a great passion in helping people in those areas and would like to continue to do that on Grow Therapy.
Hi, I’m Angela. I am a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and see themselves in a new light. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I provide a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I have worked with individuals of all ages—from children to adults—and have extensive experience supporting adults with cognitive challenges. My approach is always individualized and adaptable, using modified strategies when needed to ensure therapy is practical, meaningful, and effective for you.
Life can feel overwhelming when emotions seem impossible to manage. In our sessions, you set the pace. We’ll start by identifying what matters most to you and create goals that feel realistic and empowering. I draw from evidence-based methods such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and emotion-regulation skills training. In our sessions together, I will meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can identify and overcome any barriers that you feel are holding you back. I also use Narrative Therapy to help you re-author your story—one that highlights your resilience, strengths, and growth.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty managing emotions, or navigating a challenging life transition, I’m here to support you. Together, we’ll explore practical tools and strategies to help you build resilience, find balance, and create a more fulfilling life. You don’t have to do this alone—we can take these steps forward together.
You love God—but your relationships still feel anxious, consuming, and confusing.
You overthink texts, feel deeply affected by someone’s mood or distance, and find yourself giving more than you receive. You’ve prayed about it, tried to “have more faith,” and told yourself to just trust God—but the anxiety keeps showing up anyway.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not broken—and you’re not lacking faith. You may be stuck in patterns of anxious attachment and codependency that keep you feeling insecure, even when you desire healthy, God-centered relationships.
I specialize in working with Christian women who feel caught in these cycles. In our work together, we don’t just talk about your thoughts—we get to the root of why your nervous system feels unsafe in relationships and begin to change those patterns. You’ll learn how to:
• Feel emotionally secure without constant reassurance
• Stop overanalyzing and fearing abandonment
• Set healthy, confident boundaries
• Break cycles of chasing or losing yourself in relationships
• Develop a deeper, more grounded trust in both yourself and God
My approach integrates evidence-based therapy with your faith in a way that is both practical and deeply personal. This isn’t surface-level advice or “just pray more”—it’s real healing work that helps you experience lasting change.
I offer private pay sessions for women who are ready to move beyond survival mode in relationships and step into clarity, peace, and emotional stability.
If you’re ready to feel secure, grounded, and aligned in your relationships, I’d be honored to work with you.
Hi, I'm Ed from Harrisburg.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified addiction counselor with nearly two decades of clinical experience. I specialize in working with high-achieving professionals, including executives, physicians, and attorneys, who excel at performing under pressure but find that chronic stress, anxiety, and burnout have begun to erode everything they have worked to build. Sleep deteriorates. Relationships suffer. The mental intensity that drives success at work becomes impossible to switch off at home, and the cost of that becomes impossible to ignore.
My approach goes beyond conversation. Using a combination of Gottman Method, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, I help clients identify the patterns driving their distress and build practical skills to address them directly. For appropriate clients, I also incorporate clinical biofeedback technology to support nervous system regulation between sessions.
I am a direct clinician who believes that real change requires honest conversation, practical skills, and the right tools. I do not believe in indefinite treatment with no clear direction. You will know what we are working on, why we are working on it, and how we will know when it is working.
I have spent the past several years building expertise in telehealth delivery, which means I bring this level of clinical precision directly to you, anywhere in Pennsylvania, with no commute, no waiting room, and no disruption to your schedule.
If you are ready for care that matches the standard you hold for everything else in your life, I am ready to work with you.
Have you been wondering if your current challenges are due to past traumatic life events? Do you struggle in relationships? If so, I may be the Therapist for you. I specialize in trauma therapy for teenagers and adults.
Many people often think trauma is only caused by violent crimes, acts of physical abuse, or natural disasters. They may also think because trauma happened a long time ago, it does not affect them in the present. These are a few of the myths about trauma. There are many types of traumas such as the sudden or unexpected death of a loved one, bullying, retaliation in the workplace, neglect from parents, infidelity, intimate partner violence, the witnessing of domestic violence and more.
If you or your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, or life stressors, therapy with me can help with positive changes to strengthen self-esteem and confidence.
I am trained in EMDR and other trauma therapy approaches. My years of professional experience as a teacher and counselor, along with my lived experiences as a Black person allow me to provide empathetic regard while helping clients from multicultural backgrounds.

I have a passion for working with individuals from dysfunctional or addicted family systems, as well as those navigating codependency. I believe that understanding the dynamics of relationships is crucial for healing and growth. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can explore these patterns and develop healthier connections.
I also enjoy supporting individuals at all stages of addiction recovery. This might mean you are wanting to explore your relationship with substances, have recently completed inpatient treatment, or need assistance in creating a personalized relapse prevention plan.

Hello, and welcome! My introduction to the counseling field began while working within therapeutic group homes that served children through adults experiencing mental health struggles. This experience, both enriching and meaningful, inspired my interest in pursuing counseling. I was deeply moved by the varying degrees of challenging life experiences that we are all tasked with navigating and the ways we attempt to cope, gain insight from, and hopefully transform our adverse circumstances. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and since, I’ve had the opportunity to assist a diverse range of clients in both inpatient treatment and outpatient therapy settings, and more recently, at a college counseling clinic at the University of Montana. Within these programs, I’ve helped clients address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic challenges, relationships, identity changes, sexuality, and general life stressors.
I am grateful that I can work to help individuals navigate the evolving nature of their lives by providing unconditional positive regard, encouragement, and supportive guidance.
We all struggle or feel overwhelmed. It's normal. But we also have the ability to learn, grow, and improve. Having the right support can really help avoid making things worse and speed up how quickly we recover. Whether you are dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship issues or long term mental health challenges - I would really like to help you achieve your goals.
With over 15 years of experience coaching individuals and couples with a wide variety of issues I believe that together we can work to help you feel better, improve your life, and be healthy.
I look forward to talking with you!
My name is Cindy Kropp. I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in providing compassionate, trauma-informed, mental health care for individuals seeking a more balanced and emotionally healthy way of living.
I am trained to provide individual therapy for older teens, young adults and seniors trying to navigate through their own stressors and discomfort related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions and alcohol misuse and abuse.
Utilizing a strength-based and relational approach, and with a trauma-informed lens, a solid and client centered foundation is built between the client and I as the therapeutic process unfolds. From there, I work collaboratively with individuals to set goals while also exploring her/his own thoughts and feelings as related to the challenges and struggles in their own lives.
This work is achieved through the integration of cognitive behavioral therapy strategies, narrative therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction. As we work through this therapeutic process together, clients are able to identify how their own hopes and dreams of living a more peaceful, happy and abundant life can become a reality.
I believe all individuals have worth and value and need to have an opportunity to make life what they have always imagined!

Hello! My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process your experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and explore areas where healing is needed. I take a person-centered approach, meaning you lead the way in your journey while I follow—offering guidance, support, and tools as needed. I offer EMDR, IFS, CBT, and other modalities, tailoring our work to what feels most helpful and empowering for you.
I also place a strong emphasis on connecting the mind and body, as many of us experience a disconnect between the two. For those who are interested, I incorporate elements of energy therapy—drawing on yogic principles, Usui Reiki, and other approaches—to support your healing process.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and experiences, and I offer specific support for those seeking culturally sensitive therapy, honoring your unique story and identity throughout our work together.

Hi! I'm Suzanne and I've been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. I’m a warm and engaging therapist who believes that people are pretty much born with what they need to be healthy and happy-but get covered over and need help getting to that part of themselves. Therapy is like gently peeling back the layers of an onion to help you discover the answers. I don’t tell you what to do. I help you figure it for yourself!
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania, with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Edinboro University (2017). Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals through life’s challenges—first in social services and, for the past three years, in private practice.
My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and solution-focused. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, I'm here to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward the life you want.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I'm honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing and personal growth. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be grateful to be part of your journey.
Hi, I’m Robyne, an intuitive trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. I hold several certifications in trauma, attachment, nutrition, and somatic care, which allow me to approach treatment from a holistic perspective—addressing the mind, body, and soul. In addition, I am a certified Reiki master. This allows me to connect energetically with clients and work with those who want a deeper understanding.
I specialize in working with unresolved trauma, complex PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. My approach is compassionate and straightforward. I believe in creating a warm, safe space where you can feel truly seen and heard. While I’m honest and direct in our work together, I also bring empathy, humor, and flexibility to each session.
Above all, I aim to help you find balance between mind, body, and soul so that you can move toward a healthier, more grounded version of yourself.
