I grew up in Eastern Europe and moved to the USA as an adult. I speak Russian, Ukrainian, and English languages. I had to learn a whole new way of living, face my fears, and overcome many barriers and understand how important communication is in moving forward in life in the direction we want to go. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with many different people. I've counseled older adults, LGBTQ+, immigrants and refugees from all over the world. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming space where you can feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings, and I am here to help you feel understood and valued. I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work from Edinboro University - now PennWest - in 2007, and I recently became certified in EMDR and member of EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) International Association. I am also certified in treating Insomnia with Cognitive-behavioral Therapy for Insomnia - CBT-I.

"Welcome. I'm Jeanette DeSilva, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with 16 years dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their journey to lasting freedom from issues such as anxiety and depression, destructive behaviors and addiction or those who are just wanting help developing a deeper spiritual life and rebuild their relationship with God. In our work together, I integrate the evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The core idea of CBT is that our thoughts significantly influence our feelings and behaviors. Together we'll work collaboratively to identify and re-frame unhelpful thought patterns, belief systems and behaviors that contribute to mental health struggles, poor self-image, relationship issues, grief and loss and destructive behaviors like unhealthy coping. My goal is to equip you with practical and therapeutic skills and strategies to navigate the challenges of mental health disturbances, addiction issues or just difficult life struggles you may currently be facing. If spirituality is an important aspect of your life and you are wanting it a part of your therapeutic process, as a Christian Counselor I am skilled in utilizing biblical principles such as scripture, prayer and meditation into proven therapeutic approaches to help in building a strong arsenal to overcome and resolve life's challenges and walk in complete healing and freedom. Science and faith can truly work together. We will focus on: Addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and interpersonal/relational conflict resolution. I am also extensively experienced in substance abuse and addictions. Identifying and Resolving Destructive Behaviors: Addressing any unwanted behaviors such as substance abuse, self-medicating behaviors or just cycles and patterns of critical inner dialogue and destructive core beliefs blocking your growth. You are not alone in this struggle. I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic space where we can work together to help you achieve lasting emotional/mental change.

I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, panic, chronic worry, stress, and burnout using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. I also work with clients experiencing depression, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions that feel overwhelming or hard to manage alone. In my practice, this means we focus on both understanding what’s happening in this moment and identifying patterns that no longer serve you. Depending on your needs, I may also integrate mindfulness-based strategies, trauma-informed care, behavioral activation, and attachment-focused interventions to support deeper emotional healing and stability. My approach focuses on building real-life tools to help you feel more steady, confident, and in control. It is structured, supportive, and collaborative. CBT is a major focus of my work, meaning we identify thought patterns, emotional responses, and behavioral cycles that keep anxiety, depression and low self esteem going—and actively work to change them in practical ways.

For many years, I worked as a retail manager, where I gained valuable insight into human behavior, conflict resolution, and the importance of mentoring others through life's challenges. Those experiences taught me that every person has a unique story, and with the right support and perspective, they can discover the strength and wisdom they already possess. I approach each person with honesty, compassion, an open mind, and a willingness to think outside the box. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I believe in helping people uncover the answers that align with their own journey, empowering them to recognize their strengths and make meaningful connections that foster growth and healing. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate life's questions and challenges. I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.

My name is Cindy Kropp. I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in providing compassionate, trauma-informed, mental health care for individuals seeking a more balanced and emotionally healthy way of living. I am trained to provide individual therapy for older teens, young adults and seniors trying to navigate through their own stressors and discomfort related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions and alcohol misuse and abuse. Utilizing a strength-based and relational approach, and with a trauma-informed lens, a solid and client centered foundation is built between the client and I as the therapeutic process unfolds. From there, I work collaboratively with individuals to set goals while also exploring her/his own thoughts and feelings as related to the challenges and struggles in their own lives. This work is achieved through the integration of cognitive behavioral therapy strategies, narrative therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques. As we work through this therapeutic process together, clients are able to identify how their own hopes and dreams of living a more peaceful, happy and abundant life can become a reality. If you feel stuck in patterns you know aren’t good for you—but can’t seem to break—you’re not alone. Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink everything, question yourself constantly, or find yourself pulled back into the same relationships or habits, even when you know better. It’s exhausting… and frustrating. I help people understand why this happens and, more importantly, how to actually change it. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working in mental health, including private practice, substance use, and online therapy. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We will identify the patterns keeping you stuck, challenge the beliefs that reinforce them and build tools you can actually use. My goal isn’t just for you to feel better in session—it’s for you to leave with the ability to stay better. Therapy should be active and purposeful. While processing is important, real change happens when you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone and stay accountable to your growth. I’ll support you through that—but I will also challenge you when needed, because that’s where real change happens. If you’re ready to stop repeating the same cycles and start creating lasting change, I'm here to help!

Hi, I’m Ashley. If you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or like you’re carrying a lot on your own, you don’t have to do it alone. Taking the first step toward support can feel big, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a licensed clinician in Pennsylvania with over five years of experience supporting individuals and families. I work with clients navigating stress, anxiety, and depression. I also have expertise working with pregnancy and birth experiences, perinatal mental health, infant mental health, family conflict, and parenting challenges. I also support concerns related to motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe you are the expert on your own story, and that you already have strengths we can build on together. My role is to help you feel understood, identify what’s getting in the way, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and create goals that fit your life.

Hi there! I'm assuming you made it to my page because life has gotten particularly difficult and you're searching for some sort of direction or confirmation that "you are not crazy for feeling that way". We are not crazy for feeling - and therapy can help assist you in understanding why some emotions are more difficult to feel than others. Recovery is about learning tolerance; not forgetting and dismissing your experiences. I am experienced in working in both outpatient offices and inpatient hospital settings where I support clients in addressing issues stemming from generational trauma, relationships, grief and loss, life adjustments, substance use / other addictions, anxiety, and serious mental illness. I view therapy as a process that requires learning about vulnerability and accountability and then applying both for results.
