I am a psychotherapist who works with a diverse population of people. My goal is to collaborate with individuals to assist them in achieving their therapy goal(S). My treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and Ericksonian hypnotherapy approaches. Although I used these modalities, I do not use a one size fits all approach. I am a think-out-of-the-box clinician that will often challenge clients to try approaches that may be out of their comfort zone. Some examples of my experience include working with individual clients on developing skills in coping with mental health conditions/diagnosis, life stress, finding balance, and improving self-esteem. Although I use these approaches, my clients tell me it feels like we are having a conversation as opposed to feeling like they are in a therapy session. I have a specialization in working with Veterans, LGBTQI, men, and people of color populations. However, I work with all people who are seeking mental health services. I am licensed in DC (LICSW), VA (LCSW), MD (LCSW-C), and PA (LCSW). I have BS in Human Ecology, BA in Humanities from The Ohio State University, MSW from San Jose State University and Post Masters fellowship in mental health from Stanford University.

Hello, I’m Cherokee Cabell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful changes. I work with adults ages 18 and older who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly, gain a better understanding of yourself, develop practical coping skills, and work toward becoming the best version of yourself. I am the founder of Little Bits Counseling and Therapy and provide telehealth services to clients in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. I am also the published author of *Rain to Reign* and its companion workbook, which focus on breaking cycles, reclaiming your voice, healing from difficult experiences, and finding empowerment through adversity. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel uncomfortable, but you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. We can start with where you are and work together toward where you want to be. PLEASE NOTE: Please schedule your first appointment at least 48 hours in advance to allow time to complete and return the required intake forms. This gives me an opportunity to review your information before we meet so that we can make the most of our first session.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from California University of PA in 2010 and have been practicing for 14 years. I help women struggling through infertility, loss, reproductive trauma, grief, and anxiety. I hold the strong belief that people are perfectly imperfect and believe that each individual is beautiful and spectacular but can also become stuck, unhappy and unable to live a fulfilling life. That’s where therapy with me comes in. My experience allows me to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. I am flexible in my approach and use collaboration as the basis of therapy. I have worked with a diverse population of individuals and have experience in treating an array of diagnoses, including PTSD, Loss/Miscarriage and Postpartum Issues, Depression, OCD, Life Transitions, and Anxiety. I work with clients from a strength-based, positive, and affirming perspective to assist clients in learning the skills necessary to cope with depression, anxiety, relationship issues/family concerns, sexual trauma, unresolved emotional issues, grief and loss, self-esteem/self-empowerment issues, and more. I utilize a blend of Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy while also incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. These advanced methods promote healing and desired change in a unique, gentle, and respectful manner.  I specialize in working to empower women who are struggling to heal from trauma and anxiety related issues. When not working, I enjoy snuggling with my dog and spending time with my family.

Hi, I'm Cory Ian Shafer, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with my Masters in Counseling. I have been practicing professionally in the counseling field since 2005 and have worked in the mental health field since 1999. I approach therapy primarily as a Jungian-Existentialist, however, I also realize that many clients may need different approaches to achieve their success, and because of that I also incorporate an eclectic approach towards therapy in addition to my primary school of thought, therefore I can utilize many different modalities and approaches of therapy depending on the what you need in your sessions. My specializations are working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and grief counseling. I also like to write a little bit and have published a few books concerning the human condition. On the personal side of things I lead a simple and quiet life, where I enjoy reading history, science fiction and philosophy books, playing the bass guitar, listening to music, traveling and amateur astronomy. www.coryianshaferlpc.com

I am a psychodynamic-oriented therapist with a special interest in early childhood attachment and how that impacts present day relationships. I am also basic-trained in EMDR and equipped to provide EMDR virtually. I believe in an empowerment-based approach, and that even our maladaptive coping mechanisms are strategies that we have developed to help us cope with and survive life's trials. I like to reframe negative beliefs that clients hold about themselves and how they cope into strengths, and then collaborate with clients on strategies to achieve desired changes.

Welcome! I’m Shey, an IFS-informed therapist who wishes to help you navigate the journey from unhealed trauma to meaningful personal growth. We don’t have to wait for a crisis to put on our own “oxygen masks.” I’ve learned the hard way how essential it is to care for ourselves first—nurturing our well-being so we can show up fully in our lives. In my sessions, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for survivors of emotional and psychological abuse. I specialize in supporting women who have experienced difficult marriages and relationships, helping them rebuild their lives. Understanding the impact such trauma can have on self-esteem and identity, I work alongside you to process your experiences, rediscover your inner strength, and restore your sense of self-worth. I also support South Asian women navigating the complexities of overlapping cultural or familial expectations. Together, we honor the strength in your scars, tend to the wounds that remain, and embrace every part of who you are—authentically and unapologetically.

"One step, one step." So, this is a phrase I often say. I use it as a reminder that we will move forward, heal, achieve our goals one step, one moment at a time. If we feel or see ourselves slip back....we reset. We move forward again one step, one step. Wellness has always been a focus in my life's work. My expertise has allowed me to work with individuals from the African Diaspora, immigrant communities, various cultures, military and those diagnosed with chronic illness. I use a holistic approach, integrating modalities such as a Client-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused and Mindfulness to achieve your goals and build an empowered, stronger and healthier sense of self. I believe that collaborating with you as an individual, learning your strengths, challenges, and identifying key coping skills together we move towards your best strategies for wellness. If you are feeling worried, depressed, scared, anxious, overwhelmed by circumstances in your daily life or new to therapy we can work together to find that balance you need.

Taking the time to start therapy and acknowledge our own personal struggles is the first, and often times, most difficult step in the healing process. I believe that therapy can offer the space for one to process relationships, career changes, grief, and life transitions in depth with safety and clarity. As a therapist, I aim to offer insight in helping clients identify their own values and assist them in aligning said values with their life choices to connect one's sense of self. I also help clients explore how their experiences may have impacted them and offering ways one can use that understanding for self healing and growth.

Hello. I'm James and I appreciate that you are considering me to be your therapist. The decision to begin therapy for the first time or with a new treatment professional requires strength, courage and commitment. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, financial pressures, addiction or any other obstacle that prevents you from living the life that you want, finding the right therapist for you is an important part of getting yourself back to where you would like to be. I have experienced a variety of obstacles in my own life and personally understand how the therapeutic process can help change your life. This is my second career. While working in manufacturing at a pharmaceutical company, and being a full-time single-parent, I completed my education over a number of years and began working part-time in the field several years prior to my retirement from the pharmaceutical industry in 2012. I have worked with groups and individuals in a variety of settings. To me, this career is a calling for which my collective life experiences have prepared me. My Masters degrees are in Psychological Counseling, Addictions Counseling and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I appreciate the uniqueness of each individual and have worked with people from a number of different cultures, religions and lifestyle orientations. In my own life, I strive for continual personal growth and to nurture my mind body and spirit. Should you decide to work with me, I will help you to appreciate your strengths and to build on the courage and commitment that brought you to seek changes in your life. My goal is to always help you find ways to be happy in your life and to do it in ways that work for you. If you're willing to do the work, your life WILL get better.

My name is Evan Miller and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist in the state of Pennsylvania. The goal of therapy is to facilitate personal growth and help you improve your life. When we experience loss, unwanted change, or trauma it can shake our foundations and lead to pain, confusion, and heartache. While we can't prevent life from happening or undo what we've been through, my practice is based on a deeply held belief in the ability for all of us to heal and resume living with meaning and purpose. Recognizing where you're feeling blocked, stuck, or hurt will inform where we focus our efforts. Granting ourselves full permission to feel and express the depth of our feelings is instrumental to healing and growth. My role is to bear witness to your experience while offering support and encouragement as you recognize and process your feelings. Through curiosity, presence, and attunement I seek to facilitate individual's getting back to living through effectively addressing, expelling, and moving past what has caused pain. Owning how we feel without asking for permission, learning how to internally validate ourselves, and developing self regulation strategies will help when we experience intense challenges. We can learn to change our narratives and work towards unconditional self love and acceptance. Please trust yourself and your wisdom when doing healing work.

I started this career after raising my children so I have the advantage of wisdom. Life has not always been kind to me but this allows me to relate to so many clients. I have been through much adversity and I feel the most fulfilled when I am helping others. I am kind, non judgmental, and follow Carl Roger's unconditional positive regard.
