I have always felt a deep connection to Human Services since the day my siblings came to me for advice on whatever problems they had. That personal experience fueled my pursuit of a career in counseling and therapy. My credentials include a Master's in Human Services, licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, National Certified Counselor certification, a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science, and Ph.D. candidate with an emphasis on relationship dynamics. For over 40 years, I have been blessed with opportunities to serve as a clinician across diverse settings, including Child Welfare, Criminal Justice, Education, the Corporate Sector, and Military Family Life (all branches). I pride myself in being an instrument that provides a genuine, safe space for clients to embrace who they are while welcoming change, operating with the core belief that “everything starts and ends with the individual". Have you been wondering if your current challenges are due to past traumatic life events? Do you struggle in relationships? If so, I may be the Therapist for you. I specialize in trauma therapy for teenagers and adults.
Many people often think trauma is only caused by violent crimes, acts of physical abuse, or natural disasters. They may also think because trauma happened a long time ago, it does not affect them in the present. These are a few of the myths about trauma. There are many types of traumas such as the sudden or unexpected death of a loved one, bullying, retaliation in the workplace, neglect from parents, infidelity, intimate partner violence, the witnessing of domestic violence and more.
If you or your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, or life stressors, therapy with me can help with positive changes to strengthen self-esteem and confidence.
I am trained in EMDR and other trauma therapy approaches. My years of professional experience as a teacher and counselor, along with my lived experiences as a Black person allow me to provide empathetic regard while helping clients from multicultural backgrounds.

Hello there, I'm so glad you are here! I get it...You’re someone who has carried far too much for far too long, maybe a trauma survivor, a people‑pleasing millennial, an LGBTQIA+ adult, or a neurodivergent human trying to navigate identity, relationships, and emotional overwhelm. You might feel pulled in a dozen directions at once, exhausted by perfectionism, hyper‑responsibility, or the pressure to be “the strong one.” Your challenges may include chronic self‑criticism, difficulty setting boundaries, feeling disconnected from your own needs, or struggling to relax even when you’ve earned rest.
My name is Alissa, I’m a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in supporting trauma survivors, people-pleasing millennials, LGBTQIA+ clients, and neurodivergent folks navigating identity, relationships, and emotional overwhelm. My work blends parts‑based approaches, somatic awareness, and strengths‑focused care to help you understand your inner world, soften self‑criticism, and build a more grounded, compassionate relationship with yourself (and in partnerships.) I offer an affirming, collaborative space where EVERY part of you is welcome, especially the ones carrying exhaustion, tenderness, or stories that deserve gentleness.
I frequently incorporate cognitive behavioral strategies but I also enjoy using creative therapeutic activities that strengthen self efficacy and personal insight. I am defiantly on the crafty side and I love art wellness projects.
I have a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio. My graduate work included an emphasis on cultural competency, echo-therapy, and urban regional development. My passion for this field is rooted in increasing access to culturally responsive mental health care and supporting people of all backgrounds in navigating therapy with comfort, empowerment, and authenticity. I am committed to creating a safe and affirming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe therapy should be accessible, culturally informed, and grounded in meaningful change.

I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is flexible, affirming and joyful. I seek to find the potential in all things - even the hard, dark stuff. My own lived experience with neurodivergence and chronic illness greatly inform my practice. I use a compassionate, person-centered approach that is solution focused; I seek to incorporate creativity, mind-body connection, and unconditional positive regard in our work together. One can expect to gain psychoeducation, coping skills, and distress tolerance skills to meet one's goals and reach the place one hopes to be. It is my goal to create a space for individuals that is laid back, safe, silly, and affirming so that clients may show up as their full, authentic self. I hope that one leaves our sessions feeling grounded, witnessed, and a lot less alone.

Whether you’re seeking support through a difficult transition or ready to overcome long-standing obstacles, I provide a warm, collaborative space to clarify your goals and build the tools to achieve them.
Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.

I received my masters degree in psychology with a focus in marriage and family therapy in 2011, and I have completed certification training to be a functional family therapy supervisor. I'm a military veteran and have worked with individuals from a range of backgrounds, as well as provided supervision to interns. I also provide cognitive processing therapy for trauma, a gold standard evidence-based psychotherapy.
You are welcomed with warmth, kindness, and respect. I am a humanist therapist, which means your recovery is yours to define, and it will come from your efforts with my support. We'll start by getting to know each other so I can understand your situation and get a feel for what it's like to face the challenges you face. Sometimes just being seen like that is enough; other times we realize we have some bigger work to do, and that's okay too. We approach it all with curiosity and gentleness.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) credentialed professional with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, particularly in the areas of trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and evidence-driven, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based strategies, and positive psychology to foster growth and resilience. I create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges, develop coping skills, and build a fulfilling life on their own terms.
I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I provide a collaborative space where we can explore life's challenges, and reconnect to a sense of purpose. I work with adults of all ages and have a special interest in supporting older adults, as well as people experiencing life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, or spiritual concerns. For clients who desire it, I integrate spirituality and the Christian faith into the therapeutic process in ways that are meaningful and respectful of each person's faith. In addition to being a therapist, I am also an ordained minister who works with people of various faiths.
As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing an affirming environment for LGBTQ individuals. I recognize that navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and faith can be complex. I strive to create a space where every person feels respected, valued, and empowered to live authentically.
My approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit. I use emotional freedom technique and mindfulness based therapy. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Hi! I'm Tiffanni! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and have experience working with children, teens, and young adults for over 8 years. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University. Outside of work, you can find me hiking with my dog, gardening or baking anything sourdough!
Hi, I'm a therapist with over thirty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families and historically getting positive results. I tend to work with families with special members such as teens and seniors. I have always worked with teens as it seemed to be a population others found difficult, but I liked the challenge. Now that I am a senior, I better understand the needs of our demographic. I tend to utilize a Family Systems approach which sees the individual in a family context as the majority has grown up in some form of family, whether related by blood or not. I've also taught Marriage and Family Therapy through what is now Drexel University's Family Therapy Program and have offered professional Supervision as a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. By working with the client in a collaborative, goal setting manner, faster more positive results seem to be achieved.
