Hello ! Welcome to the exploration of the benefits of therapy. This may be your first time trying out this experience, or you may have worked with other clinicians in the past. People often think of therapy as scary; a luxury; an unnecessary expense and/or use of time; no better than talking to friends and loved ones; to be sought out only if things get really BAD. But in the decades I have been working as a psychotherapist with people just like you - they have found, as I hope you will, that it is a dynamic opportunity to start addressing the needs of the most important resource you have - YOU ! And YES, starting with someone new is scary, and sometimes anxiety-producing. I applaud you for taking this step.
Therapy is an educational process in which you are learning about you. I follow the pace of the client and can say that each person's journey to healing is different. I may have a compass to guide the process, but you are rowing the boat. There can be hard work on this exploration !
My experience as a therapist began in New York City, working in the field of domestic violence as a therapist and advocate. Living in New York City at that time, I had the opportunity and honor to work with people of various nationalities and cultures. I completed my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at New Mexico State University in 2000. I worked for, and directed, several community- based , not for profit agencies before I took the plunge to start my own business in 2005. I was in private practice off an on for 20 years, and since that time I have worked as a contractor in many capacities, with diverse populations.
I serve people ages 8-108 years old through individual, family, and couples/marriage therapy. I treat anxiety, depression, thought problems, grief, trauma, high-stress work environments, and lots more!
I offer tele-health and in-person sessions. In-person sessions have the option of having animal-assisted therapy. If you choose equine therapy, we will be in the pasture, so be sure to wear closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty!

Hello, I'm Marianne and I've been a therapist for 15 years. I've been providing online therapy for five years and my previous ten years of experience includes inpatient and outpatient care, group and individual therapy, and working closely with a psychiatrist. I find online therapy as effective as in person and much more convenient for my clients. I am an independently licensed counselor in the state of Ohio (LPCC) which means I diagnosis and treat.
I earned my doctorate and post-graduate master's degrees in psychology and my master's degree in counseling from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Professionally, I retired from the United States Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer, and since retiring, have worked in several different behavioral health settings. In addition to my private practice, I am a graduate-level adjunct professor of counseling psychology.
If you’ve ever had the quiet thought, “Something just isn’t right,” you’re not alone—and it’s worth paying attention to. I provide a supportive, compassionate space where you can begin to explore those feelings without judgment. My work centers individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood-related challenges, relationship concerns, and the lasting impact of trauma.
I often work with people who have been “the strong one” for others—deep feelers, caregivers, and those who find themselves stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, codependency, or difficulty trusting themselves. Many of my clients are unpacking experiences related to abandonment, rejection, identity concerns, or emotional overwhelm. I also support neurodivergent individuals who are seeking greater understanding of themselves and more effective ways to regulate their emotions and experiences.
My approach is warm, intentional, and grounded in the belief that healing does not have to feel cold or clinical. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we move at your pace, creating space for reflection, emotional processing, and practical growth. Together, we will explore your experiences, challenge unhelpful patterns, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect you with a version of yourself that feels authentic and steady.
Whether you are new to therapy or returning to deepen your work, I meet you where you are—with care, curiosity, and respect for your journey.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background working with adults, adoptees, and trauma. My therapeutic approach revolves around building a relationship with my clients and establishing the core issue of what is a challenge for them by facilitating a place for them to be transparent with themselves, judgment-free. I have experience working with all walks of life and have held an assortment of different roles in the field working with social services, foster care, adoption, and healthcare. These experiences have made me well-rounded when it comes to addressing cultures and beliefs that differ from my own. The first step toward getting better is having the courage to ask for help. Let's meet for a session and get to know one another.
Hi, I’m Amanda, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I try to help people make sense of their patterns, work through trauma, and create change in their lives. My style is honest, supportive, and pretty down-to-earth.
We’ll focus on what you want to work on, at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we’ll look at what’s been keeping you stuck, whether that’s old wounds, relationship dynamics, or habits that don’t serve you anymore. From there, we’ll find ways to move forward that feel realistic and aligned with who you are.
You can expect a mix of insight, compassion, and directness from me. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling more clear, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.
Many people come to therapy carrying pain that isn’t visible to others. You might be functioning day to day while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why things feel “off.” If you’re navigating the impact of trauma, grief, or complicated relationships, you don’t have to sort through it alone.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with eight years of experience in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, including my work at a VA medical center. I support adults facing mental health or substance use concerns, stress, trauma, and major life transitions. My hope is that therapy feels like a safe place where you can move at your own pace, feel understood, and build skills that help you feel more regulated and capable.

You want to feel better, and I can help you take those needed steps. It is humbling to be able to walk with you on your journey.

I'm Cat, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I'm a Millennial Mom of 3 with some scrappy life experiences myself. I've worked extensively with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and complex trauma. My approach is a great fit for teens and women who want to have a place where they can be completely real, to unpack whatever they need to, and feel accepted by someone who truly believes things will get better. Many of my Clients have lived through serious betrayal and felt confused, absent, or unhinged by what happened. Then they come to therapy because they've been living life "at a 10" and want hope that they don't have to be this mad, this triggered, or this impacted anymore. I help Clients understand why this is happening and how to move forward in a way that feels strong and sure.
For clients who desire it, I can integrate Biblical counseling. A space to explore how God's presence, grace, and Truth can support a full life.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and grief. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when life shifts in ways you didn’t expect or when you’re trying to hold everything together for everyone else.
In our work together, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, process what you’re going through, and start to make sense of it. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life
I am a warm, kind, and genuine therapist who is deeply committed to walking alongside my clients in their journey toward healing and growth. My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a strong dedication to creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen and heard. As a Christian, I offer a faith-based perspective for those who desire to incorporate their beliefs into the therapeutic process. I am passionate about helping individuals find hope, clarity, and lasting change. I consider it a privilege to support my clients every step of the way.
I use soulful authenticity to teach skills and invite clients to experience themselves differently. I create a safe but no-nonsense space where people can be real about their struggles, laugh when needed, while still digging deep into the roots of their pain. Insightful, relational, and spiritually grounded, you will gain a compassionate guide who will hold space for your wounds and challenge you to break unhealthy and unwanted cycles.
Vivian Hodges (She/Her) is a licensed independent clinical social worker supervisor. She started her path to tranquility by receiving her undergraduate degree in psychology at The Ohio State University in 2016, while then pursuing her masters at Case Western Reserve University in social work with a focus on adult mental health in 2018.
Over the years, she has experience providing psychotherapy and crisis interventions in foster care, school-based, hospital and private practice settings for both youth and adults. She primarily has experience with adults, college students, and youth experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, work stressors, and interpersonal/relationship issues. She strongly believes in building a therapeutic relationship through strength-based techniques to empower and create a safe place when exploring current life stressors. Through trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, she will guide her clients on a path of tranquility and healing. She will focus on a holistic approach by providing community based resources to ensure everyone’s basic needs are met during the therapeutic process.
When she has free time, she enjoys playing with her two dogs, reading, knitting funky hats, traveling in the US or abroad, and exercising.

Hi! My name is Alexis Bass, and I aspire to help my clients develop deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. My work is strongly influenced by the idea that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, and my ultimate hope is to help you learn how to navigate this experience in a way that feels best for you.
Through time in the substance abuse field, I gained experience in trauma, mental health, life transitions & general confusion of life, purpose, or self. I am knowledgeable in the marginalized experience and focus on mental health concerns & interpersonal relationship dynamics, including families/couples and impacts on the individual through a person-centered approach.
I am a licensed clinician with 14 years of experience in substance use treatment and 4 years in mental health counseling, dedicated to supporting individuals through trauma, addiction, and emotional challenges. I provide a Person-Centered, holistic approach that integrates CBT, DBT skills, Trauma-Informed care, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients create meaningful and lasting change.
I serve individuals ages 13 and older who are experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related concerns, relational challenges, and low self-worth, as well as those feeling stuck in patterns of shame, self-doubt, or unhealthy coping. My work is best suited for clients who are ready to explore healing, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of identity and purpose.
Through a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space, I help clients separate who they are from what they have been through, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. My goal is to support whole-person healing from the inside out—empowering clients to move from surviving to thriving with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I’m Dr. Clarence “Chip” Chapman, a licensed professional clinical counselor and clinical supervisor who integrates evidence-based therapy with Christian faith when clients desire it. I work with adults facing depression, trauma, and addictive behaviors, including struggles with pornography, helping them find healing, renewed hope, and greater self-control. My style is compassionate, direct, and practical — combining clinical tools with spiritual support in a way that respects your beliefs and meets you where you are. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be honest, feel understood, and move toward lasting change emotionally and spiritually.
I am a kind and supportive therapist. I provide a space for you to process your experience, pain and trauma so that you can move forward freely. Many of us carry unresolved concerns and issues; many of us have unresolved trauma. This weight keeps us back from being who we wish to be. I can remain present even during very difficult conversations.
Hi, I’m Sarah! I'm a licensed therapist who offers online therapy for adults in Ohio and Colorado.
Many of the people I work with are doing their best — but feel stretched thin, stuck in the same patterns, and unsure of how to calm the noise in their mind and body.
In therapy, we’ll gently take a look at what’s going on beneath your patterns — with your stress response, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the experiences that shaped them. My style is practical and supportive. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT and mindfulness, and I also bring in body-based and energy-psychology tools when they’re helpful — so we’re not only talking about what’s hard, we’re building skills that help you actually feel different over time.
I aim to create a space that feels safe, warm, and grounded — where you can understand yourself with more compassion and feel empowered to move toward the life and relationships you most want.
Please note: I do not currently provide substance abuse treatment or services for clients actively struggling with substance use. If substance use is your primary concern, I encourage you to seek support from a provider who specializes in addiction and recovery.
I currently offer remote individual therapy sessions for adults only. I do not provide couples therapy through my therapy practice or through Grow. I do, however, work with couples separately through my coaching practice, which is outside of Grow Therapy. You can learn more here: https://sarahschweppe.com/couples-coaching

Hi, I’m Sylvia Bella. I work with teens who put a lot of pressure on themselves and often feel stuck, anxious, emotionally drained, or unsure of how to cope with everything they’re carrying. Many of the teens I support struggle with stress related to school, friendships, family dynamics, self-esteem, or constant self-doubt. Some begin shutting down, avoiding things they used to enjoy, or reacting in ways they don’t fully understand.
I also work closely with parents who want to better understand their teen, improve communication, and feel more confident supporting them through difficult moments.
In therapy, I help teens make sense of what they’re feeling, develop healthier ways to manage stress and emotions, and build confidence in themselves and their decisions. My approach is supportive, practical, and down-to-earth. I focus on creating a space where teens feel comfortable being honest without fear of judgment.
I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR, tailoring therapy to each teen’s individual needs and personality.
We all experience life differently and sometimes trying to figure out how to handle those experiences can be overwhelming. I am here for you, so you don't have to do it alone. My goal is to provide you with a warm, safe, and inviting environment where I can help you with processing any thoughts and feelings you may have about life challenges.
I am a LISW-S and have over 20 years experience working with adults, children, teens, families, and groups. My primary areas of focus have been anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, behavioral issues, anger management, stress management and sexual abuse. In session, we will learn how our thoughts lead to our feelings and behaviors and how to use those thoughts to ensure better outcomes. I will give you the tools to help you better deal with life stressors while empowering you to do so.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel scary or overwhelming, and my goal is to make that process feel as comfortable, supportive, and safe as possible. I believe that while life can be challenging, everyone deserves the opportunity to feel happy, balanced, and thriving. I am here to support you through life’s ups and downs and help you work toward becoming the healthiest and most authentic version of yourself.

Hello, I'm Sherri.
Asking for help is never easy.
Maybe you don’t know if you can ask for help because how can you reach out to someone who might balk when you tell them you’re questioning your faith or just on a nontraditional spiritual path?
What if your job is not a “typical” job and your baseline stress levels could curl toes, forget anyone understanding when you are at your breaking point?
This is where I come in.
I’ve been passionate about helping people find peace amid stress and chaos for years. Whether you’re navigating the weight of trauma, the daily demands of service, or simply feeling disconnected from your inner light, my role is to walk alongside you with compassion and care. My promise is a safe space for letting your walls and burdens down. I provide ethical, nonjudgmental, approachable, quality mental health treatment without fear of discrimination or overwhelming the therapist with your reality.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a or tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.
I am a dedicated therapist who brings a compassionate, steady, and deeply human approach to the work I do. My clinical practice is shaped not only by years of professional experience, but also by my personal journey as a mother and wife navigating the complex realities of children facing serious health challenges. These experiences have strengthened my empathy, broadened my understanding of resilience, and deepened my commitment to supporting individuals through their most difficult moments.
I specialize in telehealth therapy, providing accessible, high‑quality care for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. In every session, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non‑judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, understand your patterns, and feel genuinely heard.
My mission is to help individuals address life’s challenges with clarity and confidence, cultivate resilience, and move toward holistic healing. Whether you’re seeking relief, growth, or a renewed sense of balance, I am here to walk alongside you as you build the tools, insight, and strength needed to move forward.
I am an Independently Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families seeking meaningful, lasting change. My approach is both supportive and direct, helping clients not only understand their experiences but also shift the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I specialize in I creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and able to be honest, while also helping them move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Serving Adults Across Ohio and Pennsylvania — Teletherapy.
Life can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to stay that way. With over 22 years of experience, I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and always focused on empowering you to become the author of your own story.
Licensed in both Ohio and Pennsylvania, I offer flexible options to meet you where you are. Ohio clients can choose between in-person sessions at my office (limited availability) or virtual care. Pennsylvania clients are seen through secure online sessions — bringing quality counseling to you no matter where you are in the state.
I was raised in a working class family of five children in New Jersey where the 4th of the five of us was adopted. I am the oldest of the five. I retire May 2026 as the Grace F. Brody Professor of Parent-Child Studies at the Mandel School (Social Work), Case Western Reserve University. I have been an educator since 1987 and practice with families, mostly office based starting in 1988, then home based, and with the new technologies I have been working virtually.
I am a licensed social worker in Ohio. I was previously licensed in Iowa. I have worked in residential treatment for children and outpatient mental health for adolescents and adults.
Since 1991 I have been involved in various child welfare technical assistance, research and training projects in the US (Oklahoma, Iowa, Ohio, Maryland), Romania, India, Ukraine, Guatemala and Ethiopia. In addition to my Master's of Social Work, I have a Doctorate in Sociology and Honorary Doctorate from the West University of Timisoara, Romania.
