Hello! I’m based in Canton, Ohio, and I bring a unique perspective to my practice as a retired military veteran. I hold a doctorate from the University of Kentucky. I enjoy working with young adults, adolescents, and older adults as they navigate challenges and work toward personal growth. I’m passionate about supporting you through life transitions, and my approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to meet you where you are. If you're looking for a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your journey. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, borderline personality disorder, anger management, and trauma, using evidence-based approaches to help clients build resilience and develop effective coping strategies. Whether you’re managing the stress of a significant life transition, recovering from trauma, or seeking support for emotional well-being, I’m here to guide you on your journey toward healing and empowering growth.
In our initial session, we'll focus on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship that centers around your goals and fosters your personal growth. Together, we'll develop a customized plan to address your needs, with you taking the lead in sessions.
Leveraging my personal journey as a rebellious teenager and my comprehensive 20-year military career, I've refined a reliable understanding of challenges. Therapy is tailored to help you identify the root causes of your challenges and craft a personalized plan aimed at achieving tangible, measurable progress.
I find fulfillment in assisting teenagers and adults facing life's challenges. My clients are individuals who are motivated to grow and improve but may lack the necessary tools to achieve their goals. Often feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious, they seek support and guidance to navigate through these obstacles. I am able to connect with youth, veterans, and adults to support and empower growth.

I felt very comfortable with her from the start. Her daughters are near the same ages as mine and she has had to face the same social circumstances and pressures. I’m trying to be a better person but so much of my definition is as a mother, so I really feel like I need to better communicate with my grown daughters. I really believe she can help me stop being so defensive and do a better job of listening and help me to improve those relationships which are so important to me.

She is amazing in the fact that she makes me think and helps me through my tough times, being Firm but caring. She holds me accountable in a good way.
