My name is Kalyn and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Delaware, with a Master of Science in Human Development from Virginia Tech. While my background is rooted in marriage and family therapy, my current practice focuses entirely on working with individuals. I am not accepting new couples or joint therapy clients at this time.
As an LMFT, I specialize in using a systemic, relational lens to help individual adults navigate relationship issues, communication challenges, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and personal boundaries. I help clients explore how their relational patterns, history, and environment impact their current well-being—giving you dedicated space to do deep relational work individually.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and supportive therapy to create an open, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your emotions and build practical tools for lasting change.
Do you struggle with feeling bad about yourself, developing and /or maintaining healthy relationships with others? Do you feel down, depressed, feeling you let yourself or others down? Do you experience feelings of anxiety, stress, or trauma? Are these concerns impacting you at home, work, or other places?
Seeking therapy can be scary, however, you have made the right decision. I believe individuals are the "experts on themselves" and possess the ability to make the desired positive change in their lives.
In the session, we will utilize a Person Center Approach consisting of meeting the individual were they are, actively listening, providing support, encouragement, and validation, as well as utilizing Evidence -Based Treatment Modalities ( such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Person Centered Approach, and Psychoeducation) Supportive Therapy, Stress Management, and Anger Management.
Together, we will work collaboratively to treat the whole person and empower the person to find their way forward.

For clients who request it, I also offer faith-based counseling by thoughtfully integrating spirituality into the therapeutic process.
I believe therapy is a partnership, and I look forward to supporting you as you work toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
Hello! My name is Zoee Byrd and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I am based out of North Carolina and completed my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health through Wake Forest University. I have experience with and enjoy working with teenagers and adults of all ages through life transitions, general stressors, mood regulation, and overall gaining better insight into who they are. I have been striving to help others create their life worth living for the past 3 years.
Hi, I’m Michelle. If you feel overwhelmed, disorganized, stuck in procrastination, or frustrated that everyday tasks seem harder than they should, you’re not alone, and you’re not lazy or broken.
I specialize in helping adults with ADHD, including those who are newly diagnosed, have lived with ADHD for years, or are beginning to wonder whether ADHD may explain some of their struggles. Together, we explore how ADHD may affect the way you think, feel, function, relate to others, and navigate everyday life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, psychoeducation, and executive-functioning support to help reduce shame, increase self-understanding, and build practical tools that fit your life and the way your brain works. When appropriate, I may also incorporate EMDR to address distressing experiences, chronic shame, or negative beliefs that have developed through years of criticism, rejection, or feeling misunderstood.
My work is also shaped by personal experience with ADHD, which has provided additional perspective alongside my professional training. This combination allows me to approach clients with both clinical expertise and an appreciation for the nuanced ways ADHD can affect daily life.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, capable, and supported in creating a life that works with your brain rather than against it. For clients who would like to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also offer Christian counseling in a supportive and natural way.
