New to Grow
I am a clinically seasoned therapist dedicated to helping people reclaim stability when life feels overwhelming, chaotic, or disconnected. My approach combines genuine empathy with objective feedback to address acute anxiety, trauma, and complex relationship dynamics. I focus on creating a reliable, conversational space where you can sort out your feelings, break unhelpful patterns, and move forward at a pace that works for you.
I usually ask some background information so I can better understand a little about your life and what brings you to therapy. It's typically a low-pressure conversation to unpack what's going on, establish comfort, and outline a realistic plan moving forward.
My greatest strength is meeting you exactly where you are, rather than forcing a rigid therapeutic style on you. I focus on creating a highly warm, affirming, and deeply validating environment rooted in unconditional positive regard. If you need a safe space to simply talk and unpack your thoughts, I will hold that space for you. If you prefer a dynamic conversation, practical feedback, or psychoeducation, I will provide it. My approach is entirely adaptive to your comfort level, though I may gently hold you accountable when it serves your growth and helps you move forward.
I usually work with adults who are navigating significant life transitions, relationship challenges, or a sense of feeling "stuck." I am best positioned to serve individuals who are dealing with high-level anxiety, depression, or underlying trauma, even if they find it difficult to put their exact emotions into words. Often, my clients are working through coping patterns that no longer serve them—such as substance misuse —and are looking for a grounded, collaborative space to build deeper self-awareness. Whether you are adjusting to a major life change, trying to repair a partnership, or processing past experiences, we will work together to make sense of the noise and find a clear path forward.
I identify as
EMDR
EMDR can help you process and heal from painful memories by using rhythmic eye movements or taps to unlock stuck emotional experiences. It rewires how your brain stores traumatic events so that the past finally stops interrupting your present.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
This method focuses on identifying the hidden loops between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. By catching and shifting unhelpful thinking patterns in real-time, you gain practical tools to change how you react to stressful situations.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness practice teaches you how to anchor yourself in the present moment rather than getting swept away by future anxieties or past regrets. It combines breathing techniques and awareness exercises to help you observe your stress without being consumed by it.
Trauma Informed Care
This just means our work focuses on what happened to you rather than what is "wrong" with you. It prioritizes your physical and emotional safety, ensuring that therapy moves at a pace your nervous system can actually handle.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
This philosophy puts you in the driver’s seat of your own healing while providing a completely non-judgmental, collaborative environment. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to offer the authentic support and insight needed for you to grow.
