In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor in both North Carolina and Florida. I do mostly telehealth and I do in-person sessions for folks in the WNC area. I have been a therapist for 6 years. I am certified in EMDR and love to help other therapists hone their EMDR skills, which in turn helps me to be a better EMDR therapsit. The therapeutic space I share with clients is a sacred space.
