As an Adlerian therapist, my goal is to help individuals who feel "stuck" in life move toward personal growth and greater fulfillment. I believe that everyone has unique strengths, and my approach is to help you identify and reconnect with these strengths, empowering you to find joy in everyday life. I focus on creating a safe, trusting relationship where we work together to explore your past experiences, beliefs, and life goals, while fostering a deeper awareness of the mind-body connection. Through this collaborative process, I aim to support you in embracing who you are, building self-acceptance, and moving forward with a sense of purpose and direction. By emphasizing rapport and understanding, I strive to ensure that your overall therapy experience is meaningful, impactful, and transformative. Together, we'll work to create a life where you feel more confident, connected, and capable of overcoming challenges with resilience and joy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will focus on an assessment, which is essentially a time for gathering important information about your background, current concerns, and overall goals. While this session is primarily focused on understanding your unique situation, it also provides an opportunity for us to connect, build rapport, and begin discussing the patterns that may be influencing your life. Together, we’ll explore your goals for therapy and start to develop a clear direction for treatment, ensuring that our work together is meaningful and tailored to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my core strengths as a provider is my ability to make clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe expressing yourself openly and honestly. By actively listening and validating your experiences, I aim to ensure that you feel understood and supported throughout the therapeutic process. My goal is to empower you, fostering a sense of trust and connection that allows us to work together toward meaningful change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My ideal client is someone who is genuinely seeking therapy for personal growth and is committed to making meaningful changes in their life. I work best with adults and older teens who are motivated to move forward and are open to exploring new techniques that can support their journey. Whether you're struggling with feeling stuck, managing stress, or simply seeking to improve your overall well-being, my goal is to help you take actionable steps toward the changes you want to see. I value a collaborative approach, and I’m passionate about working with individuals who are ready to engage, reflect, and be open to different strategies for personal development. If you're looking to gain insight, develop healthier habits, and create lasting change, we can work together to make that a reality.

My treatment methods

Adlerian

In my practice, I integrate Adlerian therapy, which focuses on understanding the unique needs and perspectives of each individual. I work with clients to explore their life goals, sense of belonging, and social interest, helping them identify patterns that may be influencing their current behavior. Together, we explore past experiences to uncover underlying beliefs and create strategies for overcoming challenges, fostering a sense of empowerment, and building healthier relationships and self-awareness. Adlerian therapy emphasizes personal growth, mutual respect, and the importance of community connection in achieving well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that may be affecting their emotions and behaviors. Together, we work to recognize how these thoughts influence daily life and develop healthier, more realistic ways of thinking. Through practical exercises and strategies, we aim to shift unhelpful thinking patterns, build problem-solving skills, and promote lasting change, helping clients feel more in control and better equipped to manage stress, anxiety, or other concerns. CBT is focused on empowering clients to make positive, proactive changes in their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult thoughts and feelings rather than trying to avoid or control them. We work together to clarify your core values and create a sense of purpose, helping you take meaningful actions that align with those values, even in the presence of discomfort. Through mindfulness and self-compassion techniques, ACT encourages you to be present in the moment, allowing you to live a more fulfilling life, even in the face of challenges. The focus is on embracing both your strengths and struggles, moving toward what truly matters to you.

Motivational Interviewing

In my practice, I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore and resolve any ambivalence they may feel about making changes in their lives. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and a non-judgmental approach, I create a safe space for clients to reflect on their values, goals, and the reasons they want to make changes. The focus is on strengthening motivation and commitment by guiding clients to recognize their own reasons for change, helping them feel more empowered and confident in taking action toward their desired outcomes.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice, I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations in the present moment, without judgment. By incorporating mindfulness techniques, we work together to develop a greater sense of self-awareness and emotional regulation, allowing clients to respond to challenges with greater clarity and calm. This approach can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and promotes a more balanced and peaceful way of experiencing life, fostering acceptance and resilience in the face of difficult emotions or situations.
