I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.

Hi, I'm Carrie! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, ADHD, anxiety, mood concerns, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware people who understand what they *should* be doing but still find themselves struggling to change patterns that aren't working for them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Helping Thoughtful People Get Unstuck and Move Forward Hi, I'm Donavon. I’m a counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience and nearly 30 years working in helping professions. Over the years, clients have described me as encouraging, supportive, compassionate, and understanding. One of the things I do especially well is helping people understand how the challenges they face today developed over time. That doesn’t mean spending weeks reliving the past. Instead, we focus on identifying patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, ADHD-related struggles, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, and then developing practical strategies that help you move forward. My goal is to help people gain insight, develop better coping strategies, and begin making meaningful progress in their lives. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the direction of your life, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin moving forward again.

Would you like to create space for work/ life balance? Would it be helpful to learn more about the connection between your behaviors, feelings, and thoughts? Are you ready to talk about coping strategies- both those that work and learn new ones? I work collaboratively with individuals and families to manage stressors, feelings of stress and anxiety, and cope with addictions. I help clients develop coping strategies that may challenge past thoughts and behaviors but lead toward the accomplishment of goals. Sometimes, it is simply reminding ourselves of what worked before and getting back on track and other times, it is about learning something never practiced before.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in trauma work, relationships, and family dynamics. I graduated with her B.A. in Psychology with minors in Health Studies, Gender Studies, and Sociology from Monmouth University where I was also a division-1 soccer player. I then went on to earn my M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. I specifically chose this route and school because it provided a bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens to looking at the various mental health challenges that we face. I am also trained in EMDR and utilize it to address trauma and performance concerns. I began my professional work with children, adolescents, and families in community mental health clinics. I found herself drawn mostly to the older adolescents in the transitional age groups and decided to pursue working in the college counseling center environment. I spent time at Coastal Carolina University working to create a relationship between the counseling center and athletics seeing the unique need of student-athletes having been one myself. I have spent the last four years at NC State University working in athletics and have enjoyed every moment of it!

Greetings, I am a licensed Clinical Therapist. I have been a therapist for over 12+ years. I provide brief therapy (30 minutes sessions and 60 minute sessions). I actively listen to assist clients to feel good inside and out by gaining insight into feelings of anxiety or depression. Through building rapport, I assist clients to build and increase self-worth/self-esteem, self-love and being empowered to utilize tools gained during sessions to manage feelings and address challenging areas of life (relationships, jobs, social interactions) to begin living the life client's truly desire to live. Schedule your first appointment and I will assist you in meeting the goals you have for your mental health and in your life.
