My name is Ashley and I have been a therapist for 11 years now. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my pets. Therapy has a lot to do with the bond between the therapist and the client. Change really can happen if the relationship is there. Most treatment methods can be fairly applicable if you develop that relationship. If you have found that to be a struggle in the past you may of had a bad connection with your therapist.
My goal is to assist you in developing your vision and journey in becoming your best and desired self. I am person centered and enjoy applying creative strategies in my practice; such as the use of art, music-videos, narrative mediums and activities. I believe that everyone is capable of change. I have extensive experience with working with adolescents, adults, and families. I am an active supporter of persons and groups of varied cultural backgrounds and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and in case you’re unsure of what that is, it means I have earned a Bachelor Degree in Social Work a Master of Social Work and once I completed Graduate school I was then required to complete 3,000 hours of clinical work experience under supervision for another two years after those supervised clinical hours I had to successfully sit for ASWB Clinial Level exam. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker not only means that I am passionate about Mental Health, but I am also focused on your environment, meaning I look at external factors that impact your situation. When I started Graduate School, I went in with the notion of studying Psychology until I came across the Social Work Program, after doing some extensive research into the profession, I decided that is what I wanted to do. I learned I can help individuals with their Mental Health as well as take a holistic approach to address any barriers they may face while working towards their goals. I absolutely LOVE being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and helping individuals reach goals they’ve set for themselves.
I provide goal-directed, collaborative therapy focused on embracing change as both constant and certain. I am trained and skilled in Solution-Focused Therapy, a goal-oriented and collaborative approach that helps individuals identify and build on their strengths to create positive changes in their lives. This method emphasizes finding practical solutions and fostering resilience, empowering individuals to navigate challenges effectively. I believe that individuals are the experts of their own experiences and possess the inner strengths and resources to overcome barriers to wellness and happiness. While I guide and support individuals in building skills to manage challenges, set realistic goals, and boost personal resilience, the responsibility for meaningful change rests with you. Taking the first step to find a therapist is a remarkable act of courage and an important investment in your well-being. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds via telehealth, focusing on concerns such as anxiety, chronic stress, fear, shame, perfectionism, and self-critical patterns. I typically check messages after 6:00 p.m. (EST) weekdays and will respond as promptly as I can. Feel free to review my calendar for available sessions. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.

I am a LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor) with the state of North Carolina. I have a background working with various ages and demographics in a variety of settings. This includes children aged 6+ to pre-teens, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I have worked in inpatient hospital settings, assisted with Intensive In-Home services for at-risk youth and their families, as well as with clients in traditional office-based environments providing outpatient therapy. My clinical expertise and the most frequent concerns that I help clients with are anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, relationship issues, family issues, and phase of life concerns. I tend to naturally gravitate toward adolescents who are struggling with navigating their lives, however, I enjoy working with all individuals regardless of age or background since life is a struggle for all of us. I tend to take a laid-back, relaxed (but professional) stance when working with clients to make the therapeutic process as welcoming and comfortable as possible!

Welcome! I’m April, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. Congratulations on taking the first step towards reaching your goals. Don’t discount the decision you’ve made to search for help, because many people never do so. I see counseling as a partnership between the therapist and the client; I have the mental health expertise while you’re the expert of you! For this reason I'll spend our earliest contacts getting to know you better.
Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision and therefore, I want to give you information so you can choose for yourself if you’d like to work with me. I would describe my counseling style as warm, but professional. I love to use strength-based approaches as much as possible, also incorporating your values into our work.
I find myself using an integrative approach, incorporating different theoretical frameworks and techniques that I will tailor to fit your needs. Two approaches I use most often are Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Person-Centered counseling uses a lot of reflection to help you process your thoughts and feelings, which is often the first step towards solving your problems. CBT helps us examine your thought patterns and whether they are helpful or harmful. If a particular thought is harmful that could trigger issues like a depressed mood, for example. We’ll work together to replace the harmful thoughts with more helpful ones. There are many other approaches to potentially integrate into our sessions, and I’d be happy to explain anything I believe may benefit you.
I have recently earned a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. You can learn more at https://postpartum.net/

Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, or just the difficult changes that come with life, I’m here to help you. I'm Sarah Olson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have the privilege of walking with people during difficult moments in their lives. I believe there is nothing that life can hand you that cannot make you a better person once you do the work and get to the other side of it. I want to discover this with you. Coming to me as a therapist would feel like exploring your honest feelings and experiences with a non-judgmental friend that can really hear you. I want to gain your trust so we can talk about what truly is stopping you from being your best self.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.
Having benefited from therapy myself, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool for healing. My long-term clients appreciate my warm yet direct approach, and I often incorporate humor into our sessions because I believe that "laughter is medicine." I combine evidence based modalities, therapeutic connection, and empathy to be able to connect with my clients to assist them with being able to grow into their greatest potential.

Hello and welcome!! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers a calm, welcoming presence and a space where clients feel safe being themselves. Many clients share that I’m easy to talk to, even when discussing difficult topics. My work focuses on anxiety, depression, ADHD, motivation, and family therapy, using a supportive and collaborative approach to help clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and lasting change. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the last 11 years. I am laid back yet professional. I will come to our session with either my coffee or my hot cup of tea so I encourage you to feel comfortable as well during our time together. I feel our mental health is a marathon, not a sprint. Building or rebuilding who we feel we want to be takes conscious, intentional, and respectful time. I come to session with an agenda that supports your treatment goals and unless something has come up that you need to get off your shoulders, we will stick to the agenda, so your treatment goals are respected and your desired outcomes reached. I look forward to meeting you and getting started.
Hello, I’m Dulcie.
Have you been struggling and wondering why it’s so hard to feel happy, have a positive outlook, and accomplish the goals you have for your life? Are feelings of disappointment, confusion, and failure contributing to problems with your emotional health and relationships? Do you feel like nothing will ever change so what’s the point in trying? Well, let me tell you why, you are worth it and it’s never too late to invest in YOU! I have many years of experience counseling great people just like you, working together to navigate life’s obstacles, find common sense solutions, and help guide and support you during life transitions. If you allow me to go on this journey of change with you, I will focus on a person-centered approach where your needs, goals, and objectives will be the roadmap for our work together. I will use evidence-based treatment techniques, largely based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you identify and change patterns in thinking and behavior that may be contributing to your current dissatisfaction. But perhaps even more important than the therapeutic approach employed, I will endeavor to build a relationship with you by being present, genuine, honest, and compassionate. I have learned that the outcomes my clients achieve are often a reflection of the strength of our therapeutic relationship. So, are you ready to partner with me as you endeavor to overcome the situations, relationship challenges, or symptoms that seem to be barriers between you and your best life? If so, I am committed to walking with you on your journey.
If you’re looking for someone who will sit back while you unravel your life's chaos alone, I’m not your person. But if you want someone who gently calls you out, celebrates your wins (even the small ones like doing laundry), and hands you actual tools (not just tissues), welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, which is fancy for I help you identify the unhelpful thoughts doing donuts in your brain, and together we kick them out and get you moving forward.
I proudly support the LGBTQIA2+ community, and my practice is affirming, inclusive, and kink/poly-friendly. No judgment here, ever! Whether you're dealing with anxiety that won't shut up, depression that's overstayed its welcome, or you’re just trying to get it together-ish, we can work on making real, sustainable change.
You bring the honesty. I’ll bring the dry humor, the empathy, and the occasional metaphor that doesn’t totally land but somehow still helps. Remember YOU>it.

My name is Stephanie, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker living in North Carolina. I have been practicing professionally since 2018, and have worked with diverse populations of children, adults, families and couples, in settings that include private practice, school-based, corporate, agency and crisis work. I have extensive experience working with military-involved families, justice-involved individuals and their families, and those who are or have been deeply involved in faith communities. I take a systems-minded approach that looks at all of the layers surrounding an individual and seeks to enhance both nurturing of self and a healthy attachment to layers of community care. My favorite part of being a clinician is having the privilege of witness folks learn and develop their own strengths and truths, and become holistically healthier, more empowered, and more in control of their own lives.

Hi! I'm a LCMHC based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from Montclair state University and have been practicing since 2012. Being a counselor, entrepreneur, and a mom, I have experienced the struggles of the balancing act for high achievement and multitasking, and with help from my counselors I have eventually learned that act. now I love to help clients mastering the the same skill to enjoy success and life together.
