Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina and also in Virginia. I received my Masters in Virginia and have been practicing for almost 20 years. I can help youth and adults with a variety of issues including coping with stress management, mental health and substance abuse/misuse. I have years of experience working with military, veterans, and their families. I also provide brief therapy models to tackle challenges and problems, adjustment to transition, all using a person centered approach.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then review the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I am here to help you so we will explore how that can happen. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, to ensure we are meeting your goals or if we need to adjust them in some way.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a seasoned clinical practitioner with a wide range of experiences who believes in using our personal strengths and resources to overcome challenges faced through life.
