(she/her)
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. As a friendly and compassionate therapist, I work with individuals ages 10 to 65, offering support through a person-centered approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Whether you're a child, teen, young adult, or adult, my goal is to create a safe space where you can explore challenges, build healthy coping skills, and improve communication in your daily life.
The first session is for information gathering and getting to know each other. I want you to feel comfortable talking to a friendly person and feel relaxed knowing that I am knowledgeable about your problem.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely seen and safe. My friendly and approachable demeanor (combined with deep clinical knowledge) helps build strong therapeutic rapport, making it easier for clients to open up, trust the process, and engage in meaningful growth. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, which complement this strength well. Person-Centered Therapy emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity- all of which align with my natural demeanor and help clients feel respected and understood. CBT, on the other hand, provides practical, evidence-based tools that empower clients to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Together, these approaches allow me to support clients both emotionally and cognitively, helping them make meaningful, lasting change in a space where they feel truly accepted.
I enjoy working with teenagers and young adults to help them with life transitions, academic stressors, and relationship/friendship problems. I know life is stressful for all ages so I try to use coping skills that work for everyone.
I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts impact their behaviors.
