I'm truly glad you're here. Taking the step to seek support is a courageous and important decision, and I'm honored to be part of your journey. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and valued. Whether you're navigating challenges, seeking personal growth, or just need a space to talk, I'm here to walk alongside you. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop strategies to achieve your goals, and work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Bachelor’s Degree from Appalachian State University (2015) and a Master’s Degree from Winthrop University. I’ve trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT. My approach is personalized to help you achieve your goals and become the best version of yourself. I believe that you have the innate ability to understand your own needs, and I’m here to support and guide you in reaching your personal goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will be visiting a wide range of questions to allow me to get to know you better. These questions will range from biological to social as well as history and current functioning. This assessment in the first session will allow me to get to know you and develop goals with you for us to focus on during treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience working in private practice, social services, and school-based settings, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients. I approach each person with warmth and empathy, focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I view our work as a collaborative partnership, where we are both part of a team working together toward your goals

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how your thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs shape your relationships and daily experiences. My approach is supportive and strengths-based, focusing on empowering you by building on your existing skills and resources.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am certified and rostered to provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) when appropriate. I completed my training in TF-CBT through St. John's University. I use TF-CBT to support children and teens who have experienced trauma as deemed appropriate.
