I now have my master's and am ready to help others reach their goals on their journey.

It might sound cheesy, but I just want the best for everyone and sometimes that means stepping outside of your comfort zone and asking for help. I strive to help others learn how to help themselves so that they can learn to trust their gut.

Hi, I am Gabi. Thank you for visiting my profile!
Maybe your mind will not slow down. Maybe you have felt low for a while, you are going through a rough patch, or past experiences still leave you feeling on edge. You might be managing work, school, and daily responsibilities while feeling exhausted inside. You do not have to sort through it alone.
I treat adults with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Abuse, PTSD, OCD, Autism, and Schizoaffective Disorders. Whether you are ready to learn evidence-based skills to change unhelpful thought patterns, manage emotions, and respond differently to challenges, or you need a supportive place to talk without feeling judged, there is room for both.
My style is warm, flexible, down-to-earth, and clinically focused, with an emphasis on meaningful results. From the start, I will take time to understand your experiences, assess your symptoms, clarify your diagnosis, and develop a plan with you. Together, we will set meaningful goals, reduce stress in your mind and body, build confidence, and improve your daily life. We will review your progress and adjust our approach as your needs change.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree focused on mental and behavioral health and a Michigan Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) credential. I have completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through Beck Institute and specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through the Dialectical Behavioral Institute in Michigan.

I am a trauma-based therapist, psychodynamic in orientation. I work with clients holistically, believing we are more than the sum of our parts and our trauma's. I am also a dual diagnosis therapist believing with substance abuse concerns are composed of mental health issues and negative experiences. I also prefer but do not find necessary involvement with services from partners, husbands/wifes ect. I find the majority of clients we see also possess stress from unresolved issues with relationships, present and past.
I am a holistic mental health therapist specializing in alternative approaches to healing, with a particular focus on utilizing plants as medicine as an alternative to pharmaceuticals. With a certification in Plants as Medicine, I integrate botanical remedies and holistic practices into my therapeutic work to support clients in achieving mental and emotional well-being. My approach emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of mind-body connections, empowering clients to explore natural and sustainable solutions for their mental health needs.

I bring presence and awareness to the therapeutic process fostering hope, self-awareness, personal growth, and self-compassion.
In the therapeutic process I help clients transform by cultivating healthier relationships with themselves and others.
