I’m a licensed mental health counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, stress, and life’s many transitions. I strive to create a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and genuine—where you can be yourself and don’t need to have everything figured out. I’ve worked in both hospital and school settings, supporting emotional well-being across different stages of life. My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical, helping you feel grounded and supported.
I’m an LICSW with over 30 years of experience, specializing in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy helping people live with the brain they have, the body they have and the heart they have. It is the law of nature that we live along these three dimensions and discovering environments, people, lifestyles that work best for you is the focus of therapy with me. My experience includes working with children with adhd and for the last 12 years with adults who struggle with executive functioning and/or adhd. Over the course of my practice, I have worked with many of the diagnoses in the DSM-V and have been amazed at the resilience and commitment people have to getting better. It is always an honor and privilege to journey with people on the way to their better selves.
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with graduate degrees in Social Work and Physical Education, I've devoted my career to understanding how trauma shapes the mind, body, and the stories we tell ourselves. My work has taken me through military service, law enforcement, homeless work, suicide prevention, and complex mental health, giving me the privilege of walking alongside people during some of the most painful and defining moments of their lives. Those experiences didn't just shape my career—they shaped who I am and how I practice. I've lived through experiences that forced me to confront fear, grief, shame, loss, and the devastating consequences of believing I had to carry those burdens alone. I've seen what trauma can do to the human spirit, and I've also seen what becomes possible when someone is finally understood instead of judged. That belief is the foundation of my practice.
Everyone deserves a safe and nurturing space to heal, grow, and be fully seen. I am honored to hold that space for you. The many roles I’ve carried throughout my life have shaped the therapist I am today, someone who understands that life is both beautiful and challenging, often at the same time. I know that life can be a beautiful struggle, full of complexity, growth, and challenge. My approach is holistic as I strive to provide a therapeutic experience that supports your unique journey. Utilizing my formal education, specialized training, and lived experiences, I am here to walk alongside you as you move through life’s obstacles and celebrations.

Hi, I'm Kendra, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I began working in the field of mental health and substance use treatment in 2018. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to meet you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, working through anxiety or depression, facing relationship challenges, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking for personal growth, I'm here to support you.

I care greatly about making sure my client's feel heard and providing them with the focus and attention they deserve. I work within an eclectic style of therapeutic modality and try to model my services around the specific needs of the client.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities through a wide range of life challenges. I earned my PhD in Clinical Social Work and Supervision from Walden University in 2026. I earned my Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2008, after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology in 2004. My academic journey also includes two years at Florida State University and an Addictions Certificate from the University of Michigan, which I received in 2015.
After graduating, I returned to my hometown of Detroit, Michigan, where I became licensed and began practicing as a social worker. Throughout my career, I have worked as a therapist, crisis manager, and adjunct professor; roles that have allowed me to develop a well-rounded, real-world understanding of the issues people face in everyday life.
My work has been guided by a strong commitment to strengthening both interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness as a pathway to meaningful change. I believe that growth happens when individuals feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s complexities. Through my work with individuals and families across the lifespan, I strive to approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect, supporting emotional, mental, and physical well-being at every stage of human development.
If you're reading this, then you have made a tremendously brave and important step in seeking self-betterment through individual counseling. Whether life can seem steady or unsteady at times, we all, nevertheless, lose track of our coping skills and rely on unhealthy habits and poor routines from time to time. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centric, Narrative Therapy, and the best evidence-based practices. My specialties include working with medical issues and physical health, intimate and romantic relationships, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, gender identity, LGBTQIA+ support, multicultural and diversity issues.
As a licensed Psychologist, I first prioritize learning not only why a person is contacting me, but also to be able to relate to that person based on their individual needs and what are their expectations of therapy. I believe that we all need to have a sense of purpose or meaningfulness in our lives, something that our thoughts, emotions and life experiences contribute to the "heart" of our personalities.
The process of healing from the challenges of life begins with a search for truth about our beliefs, habits and relationships. Physical health is affected by our mental health through the complex interactions between the brain and bodily functions. Interventions I use in my sessions include Cognitive Therapy, CBT, DBT and ACT.
As a Psychologist, I have worked in private practice, long term care, and forensic and psychiatric hospitals. Even though these patient populations are diverse, the common denominator is the human "heart". My sessions work to connect a person's sense of meaning in life to help them overcome anxiety, depression and a loss of personal identity in this complex world.
You don't have to keep holding it all together. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship conflicts, a major life transition, or the overwhelming love and loss that can come with new motherhood — you deserve a space to set it down for a while, and someone to help you hold it.

Hi, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Massachusetts. I help adults navigate everyday stress, anxiety, and life transitions by creating a safe, supportive space to talk and grow. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and confident by introducing practical coping tools you can use in daily life. Hi there, I am Belma Johnson. I am an LICSW with over 20 years experience working with adolescents in various settings, including in the school system. I am kind, genuine, relatable, and funny. I utilize the elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, so in plain words, I help young people identify negative thoughts and behaviors that might be causing them some emotional stress. I work with my clients on finding coping mechanisms that they can put in their own coping skills toolbox that can help in the school or family setting.
I specialize in working with women and LGBTQ+ adults who are ready to stop repeating the same relationship patterns and start building a healthier relationship with themselves.
You may find yourself questioning your worth, losing yourself in relationships or friendships, struggling to trust your own decisions, or feeling stuck in patterns you know no longer serve you. Together, we'll explore where those patterns began, strengthen your self-trust, and create lasting change rooted in emotional safety and self-respect.
My approach integrates attachment-informed, trauma-focused, and evidence-based therapy with practical tools that support meaningful change beyond our sessions. I believe healing involves the whole person, recognizing the impact of relationships, trauma, nervous system regulation, physical health, and life transitions on emotional wellbeing.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Therapist, I also support clients navigating intimacy, sexuality, sexual trauma, religious shame, relationship transitions, and recovery from intimate partner violence.
First time in therapy? Or ready to make a real change? It can feel uncomfortable opening up to someone new—but you don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I work with teens, young adults, and millennials—especially men and people of color—who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and past experiences that may still be impacting them. I focus on creating a space that feels real, supportive, and easy to step into, while helping you better understand yourself, your needs, and build the clarity and confidence to move forward.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who blends clinical precision with genuine human connection. I don’t believe therapy should feel distant or scripted, it should feel intentional, focused, and grounded in real conversation. I’m engaged, attentive, and not afraid to ask the thoughtful questions that move us past surface level insight.
Clients work with me because I balance warmth with direction. I’ll validate your experience, but I’ll also help you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. When appropriate, I bring a grounded sense of humor and authenticity into the room, because meaningful work can still feel approachable.
If you’re looking for therapy that is purposeful, collaborative, and designed to create lasting change, you’ll find that here.

I fully understand that getting ourselves to therapy is, at times, not easy and sincerely appreciate every client that intentionally decides that they are ready to grow, heal, and evolve. I believe in the power of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable so as to push ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones.

Hello, I'm Lilyvette Perez, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of behavioral health experience. I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
I understand how exhausting it can be to feel caught in cycles of intrusive thoughts, compulsions, anxiety, avoidance, or the effects of trauma. My approach is structured, collaborative, and compassionate, with treatment tailored to your symptoms, experiences, and goals. I provide telehealth therapy in English and Spanish for adults in Texas, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
*Action-oriented Therapist* Most anxiety and depression evolve from procrastination, which leads to inaction. I have the ability to help people who are looking to take action on their goals which require behavioral change. Change becomes natural once a person understands their unintentional programming from childhood and decides to work on their discipline. Discipline is simply your ability to prioritize the needs of your "future" self ahead of your "present" self. I do not prescribe medication; however, I can refer you to a Grow Provider if need be.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts and I love helping people reach their maximum potential! My name is Nadine Thompson, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Clinical Practice, from Smith College School of Social Work in 1991. I also have post-graduate certification in Addiction counseling, multicultural practice, DBT, and Couples and Family Therapy. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, addiction, relationships/parenting, and more. Over the past 30 years as a clinician, my experience has taught me that the most important aspect of counseling by far is the rapport, connection, and comfort you feel with your therapist. Recently, I have come to really see the value in being able "to hold space" for clients to express their deepest feelings and possibly find the answers and direction that they need as they become more self-aware.
We all want to be able to share our personal truths and be accepted and understood. I believe in the power of “telling our stories”, as a pathway to healing and resilience. Our work together may include you being able to see yourself and those around you more clearly and develop tools and strategies for creating change in your life.

Hi there! Many of us struggle in silence to overcome the challenges we face, but you no longer have to face that battle alone. From someone who has had their own personal struggles with mental health, I want you to know that you are not alone. I strive to create a space for you to feel seen, heard, and safe. As someone who has been to therapy, I understand how difficult it can be to take that next step. Finding the right therapist can be hard. Finding someone to support you, challenge you, and hold space for the things most people in our life have no idea we are facing. I would be honored to be that space for you. I hope we can work together to help you reach your goals. While the first step is acknowledging the change you need, it takes courage to recognize you need some guidance. It takes even more courage to initiate those first steps towards improving your life.
