My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

At the present time, I hold 9 state licenses that allows me to to provide Tele-health counseling in other states besides Florida; Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Utah and Michigan, Massachusetts. My name is Betsy and I am a licensed mental health clinician with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. Through my training and experience, I have developed a philosophy that simply listening, validating and being non-judgmental is “help.” However, to guide a patient’s growth in mental health treatment, it is important to challenge them in a non-threatening manner but to promote thought is necessary. Additionally, It is sometimes important to be the mirror that clients do not want to look in. Lastly, treatment should be collaborative and educate which means providing psycho-education information, written treatment work, and provide well rounded mental health guidance and support to help patient identify and achieve treatment goals.
I hold licenses as a clinical social worker and a clinical addiction counselor. My educational background includes a BA in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master's in Social Work from Indiana University (2006).
My experience includes 8 years in private practice, 12 years addressing the needs of DCS/probation/court-ordered clients, 7 years in a jail setting (including 6 years as a clinical supervisor), and a role as a clinical director at an addiction recovery center. My experience spans working with first responders, groups, couples, and individuals struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, suicidal thoughts, crisis situations, gender issues, adjustment disorder, parenting challenges, stress, self-esteem, codependency, relationship difficulties, and more.
I am a person-centered clinician who draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to support each individual’s unique needs. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the person in front of me. My focus is on helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, improve daily functioning, and move toward goals that are meaningful in their lives.
My clinical approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s story. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I view the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and work alongside clients at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable.
With nearly three decades of independent licensure, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work. I have a special interest in women’s physical and emotional health and have supported clients across the lifespan through a wide range of life transitions, stressors, and mental health concerns. My experience includes individual and family therapy, allowing me to address challenges at both the personal and relational level.
I currently provide individual therapy with a flexible, personalized approach that meets clients where they are. I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to support emotional regulation, insight, and practical coping strategies, adapting treatment to fit the individual rather than a single framework.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I recognize the courage it takes to begin. My goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. I offer a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, goals, and challenges at their own pace. I welcome you to reach out so we can discuss how I can support you in finding greater clarity, balance, and well-being in your daily life.

If you've made it this far, I know it wasn't easy. To make the decision to seek out help, no matter the reason, takes time and thought.
I have been in the behavioral health/mental health field for 15 years now specializing in healthcare management and behavioral health optimization. I know first hand that in order to get the most out of your long term therapeutic relationship you first have to take care of the other medical and psychosocial factors in your life. This may mean getting connected to a primary care physician best suited for you or finding a home care agency that can help out around the house. We all have things that take up space in our mind and schedules that make it hard to fully focus on the work it takes to fully feel better. Connect with me before long term therapy to help in these care management areas. We will work shorter term to manage some of these more pressing matters so your mind is clearer and better positioned to do some of the deeper work.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker providing compassionate, evidence‑based mental health therapy through secure telehealth sessions. I offer a warm affirming space for you to show up for yourself. Hi, I’m Jamilex (she/her), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional based in Massachusetts. I offer online therapy for adolescents and adults navigating trauma, identity, and life transitions—especially those from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities who are carrying complex stories that haven’t always felt safe to tell. My path to becoming a therapist began long before I earned my degree. Before I became a therapist, I was a young person surviving systems, silences, and scars; searching for safety, words, and meaning. My journey through abuse, family estrangement, foster care, and the military shaped not only my life, but my purpose. I know what it’s like to carry pain that feels too heavy, or too complicated, to name. That journey shaped my belief that even in silence, our stories matter. Even in pain, growth is possible.

If you decide to join me in therapy, I eagerly await helping you to identify and build upon your own strengths and resiliency.

Together, we explore the stories that shape your life, build tools to manage stress, and foster resilience and connection. Hello, I’m Naomi, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a licensed mental health clinician providing therapy for teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and integrative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and expressive techniques when helpful. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your needs so that what we work on feels relevant and usable in your daily life. So our first session will focus on identifying your needs and how we can work together.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. They may be managing a lot on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside, trying to hold everything together without enough space to focus on themselves. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to work through it alone either.
In our work together, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing. Therapy is a place where we can gently explore what’s been weighing on you while also identifying practical steps toward meaningful change.
Counseling is a collaborative process designed to help you feel safe, understood, and supported as you work toward improving your overall quality of life. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I provide a calm, respectful, and supportive environment where you can speak openly and move at a pace that feels right for you. My role is to listen carefully, offer honest and compassionate feedback, and help you develop practical tools for meaningful and lasting change.
My therapeutic approach is solution-focused, client-centered, and nonjudgmental, while remaining grounded and objective so we can stay focused on your goals. I specialize in individual and couples counseling, with a strong focus on relationships, communication, trust-building, and navigating personal or interpersonal challenges at home or in the workplace.
I also work with individuals experiencing addiction-related concerns, including substance use, gambling, and pornography addiction, as well as stress, anxiety, and life transitions. Together, we will identify patterns, explore contributing factors, and develop strategies that support emotional balance, improved self-esteem, and healthier decision-making.
My priority is to create a safe and empowering space where you feel comfortable being open and engaged in the therapeutic process. This foundation allows us to address concerns at their core and work toward greater clarity, resilience, and personal growth.
