I am a person-centered clinician who draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to support each individual’s unique needs. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the person in front of me. My focus is on helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, improve daily functioning, and move toward goals that are meaningful in their lives. My clinical approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s story. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I view the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and work alongside clients at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable. With nearly three decades of independent licensure, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work. I have a special interest in women’s physical and emotional health and have supported clients across the lifespan through a wide range of life transitions, stressors, and mental health concerns. My experience includes individual and family therapy, allowing me to address challenges at both the personal and relational level. I currently provide individual therapy with a flexible, personalized approach that meets clients where they are. I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to support emotional regulation, insight, and practical coping strategies, adapting treatment to fit the individual rather than a single framework. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I recognize the courage it takes to begin. My goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. I offer a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, goals, and challenges at their own pace. I welcome you to reach out so we can discuss how I can support you in finding greater clarity, balance, and well-being in your daily life.
In our first session, I focus on creating a safe, welcoming space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncertain, so I aim to make the experience feel comfortable, respectful, and grounded in collaboration from the very beginning. We typically begin by talking about what brought you to therapy and what feels most important for you to address right now. There is no pressure to tell your whole story at once. Instead, I follow your lead and focus on what feels most relevant or pressing to you in the moment. My role is to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions when helpful, and begin to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals. Throughout the first session, I pay close attention to creating a relationship that feels collaborative and grounded in trust. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and I work to ensure you feel heard, respected, and understood. We also begin to discuss how we might work together going forward, including frequency of sessions and initial focus areas, while remaining flexible as your needs evolve. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, with a clearer sense of direction, and with confidence that you do not have to navigate things alone.
My mission and strength as a clinician is supporting women through the evolving physical, emotional, and life transitions that shape their health and well-being across the lifespan. I specialize in helping women navigate midlife changes, including perimenopause and menopause, when shifts in hormones, identity, roles, and responsibilities can feel overwhelming and deeply personal. I also support women through caregiver stress, burnout, grief, anxiety, and major life transitions such as career changes and shifting family dynamics. A core part of my work is supporting reproductive and maternal mental health. I work with women experiencing infertility, pregnancy-related emotional challenges, and the prenatal and postpartum periods, where anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and identity changes are common. These are often times when women feel a need for both clinical support and a space where their experiences are fully understood and validated. What I bring to this work is both clinical expertise and lived life experience. With nearly three decades of clinical practice, I have a deep understanding of the emotional, relational, and physiological factors that impact women’s mental health. I also bring life experience that allows me to connect with the complexity of these transitions in a grounded and relatable way. My approach is person-centered and collaborative. I meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to their individual needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation, insight, and practical coping strategies. I believe that meaningful change happens in a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship, and I work to create a space where women feel seen, heard, and empowered. My goal is to help women move through life transitions with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion, while strengthening their ability to care for themselves as fully as they care for others.
I work with women primarily in mid life and during life transitions. Women’s health is shaped by a series of evolving physical, emotional, and life transitions that can impact how they feel, function, and care for themselves and others. Mid-life, in particular, can bring changes that feel difficult to navigate alone. They may feel overwhelmed by shifting roles at work or home, coping with grief and loss, or noticing physical and emotional changes related to perimenopause or menopause. Many women begin questioning their careers, relationships, or the pressure of caring for others while having little time for themselves. I work with women who are navigating mid-life transitions, caregiver burnout, grief, anxiety, career changes, and the ongoing stress of balancing work, family, and personal well- being. I also support women through reproductive and maternal mental health experiences, including infertility, pregnancy, and the emotional and physical adjustments of the prenatal and postpartum periods.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
While I draw on multiple clinical approaches I employ cognitive behavioral therapy techniques most frequently to assist my clients in understanding the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and then helping them actively change patterns of behavior clients find most unhelpful.
