Hi! I'm Sharonda, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Growing up in Chicago, I regularly witnessed individuals with mental health difficulties, addiction issues, individuals impacted by trauma, and those who were victims of violence. Many of them did not have guidance on how to heal or could not access helpful resources/supports. Because of that, I set my goal to be a valuable resource and advocate for anyone who may need guidance or support through their struggles. I have approximately 10 years of experience working in various mental health settings including; a substance abuse rehabilitation center; outpatient therapy facilities; within the juvenile detention center; with DCFS involved youth; Juvenile Trauma programs; and with Community Violence Intervention programs.
I’m Kimberly M. Brooks, LCSW. I help adults and couples facing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship strain, and emotional overwhelm find clarity and peace. My style is warm, direct, and grounding. I offer practical tools, honest insight, and optional faith-integrated support to help you heal, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with confidence. Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm space I create, the clarity that comes from honest conversations, and the steady guidance that helps them move forward.
Hi, I’m Eva,
Have you been struggling to keep up with your daily activities, not having a good balance in life? Or have you been troubled with anxiety, not being able to come to rest, trouble sleeping and your mind racing? Are your relationships difficult to manage and you feel your life is out of control?
I belief that a fulfilling life is what people strive to achieve. To attain that goal, you might employ many different strategies, some more effective than others. I help you learn to manage thoughts and feelings so you can feel more in control in how you handle your life and relationships. Together we can explore the issues that keep you from having a more fulfilling life.
So you might begin to utilize the insights and skills you learned right of way, I embrace a client-based approach, focusing on your needs and immediate concerns. I provide a safe space for you to share your concerns, to explore new options, to practice new ways, to grow, and to heal.
Whether you are dealing with depression or anxiety, feeling overwhelmed with daily life or have problems relating to others, I am here to help you.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing is about more than reducing symptoms—it’s about helping you reconnect with the person you were always meant to be. If you’ve been living in survival mode, carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, know that healing is possible. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you move toward lasting emotional wellness.
I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that honors the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and relationships. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to your unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals, recognizing that every healing journey is different.
Many of the people I work with have spent years putting everyone else’s needs before their own. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, burnout, unresolved trauma, grief, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Others are navigating difficult relationships, divorce, parenting challenges, or significant life changes and want healthier ways to cope. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and begin creating new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding that support the life you want to build.
Our work together will focus on understanding how past experiences continue to influence your present. We’ll explore the beliefs, behaviors, and emotional patterns that developed as protective strategies while learning practical skills to regulate your nervous system, manage stress, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, strengthen self-trust, and cultivate resilience. My goal is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to help you create meaningful, sustainable change that lasts long after therapy ends.

I work with teens and young adults who are often navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or self-worth concerns. I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

My name is Shavone Marie Williams-Moss, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I entered the field of social work largely because of my family background; I was raised by a single father while my mother struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues and could not perform her role as a parent.
One day as an adult in my 20's, I saw my mother sitting on a bench on the main street in Kentucky. I welcomed her into my home only to discover she not only suffered from homelessness but bipolar disorder, major depression, and substance abuse. My mother lived with me for a year, after which she passed away. This situation made me wonder, what if, in her younger years, she would have met someone who was supportive, understanding, kind, selfless, and invested in helping her be the best version of her, she could be. It was then that I decided to enter the Social Work Field. I wanted to provide help to those who could not help themselves and aid to those in need.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who attained a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020. My passions include social justice, prison reform, substance use, and domestic violence. I have extensive knowledge working with individuals who struggle with addiction, anxiety, stress, depression, adjustment issues, relationship issues, and coping with chronic health conditions.
Struggling to escape the same old patterns? Looking to empower yourself and create change in your life? I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has spent my career assisting men in achieving their goals, making lasting and fulfilling relationships, and facing life's challenges head-on. I have worked with adults across the lifespan to address concerns about relationships, behaviors, substance use, and more.
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that everyone has strengths to build upon. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for change, I offer a supportive space to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. My approach honors your lived experience while supporting growth, resilience, and meaningful change at your own pace. Building trust and rapport is at the heart of my work. I strive to offer a warm, empathetic space where you feel heard, supported, and understood, and definitely not judged.
I bring extensive experience from various settings, including treatment centers, community programs, group therapy, and correctional facilities, where I've had the privilege of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies, tailored to support meaningful behavioral changes. I deeply understand the mental health challenges that can emerge from incarceration and the unique stressors that accompany the journey of rebuilding life afterward.
I’m also dedicated to supporting the family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction or incarceration, helping them navigate their own emotional journeys with compassion and care. Additionally, I work closely with parents and families of children with complex behavioral issues, providing guidance and support to help them create a nurturing environment for their child’s growth and well-being.
In addition to this, I have experience helping clients through significant life transitions, such as starting a family, navigating college, or going through a divorce. I understand how overwhelming these changes can be and am here to provide empathetic support and practical tools to help my clients find stability and confidence during these times. I’m committed to walking alongside my clients and their families as they navigate these difficult transitions, offering understanding and support every step of the way.

I have found that many people enter therapy not because of a complex mental health issue but because of a general feeling of life not being what they would like it to be. I've been there. Many years ago I embarked on my own personal growth journey and I believe that has made me a more compassionate, empathic therapist.
I am very active in the therapeutic process and give direct feedback and suggestions for implementing lifestyle changes.
I have been a therapist for over 30 years, specializing primarily in depression/anxiety, relationship issues, and addiction/alcoholism. I believe that pain shared is pain lessened and that people can and do recover from issues that have been troubling them for years. I work with individuals and couples. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach.
Think you're ready to start making the changes that you've been thinking about for quite some time? Call me. Let's talk about it. Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Hello, my name is Chelsea, and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. I graduated in 2019 from Clarke University with my Master's of Social Work.
I spent my undergraduate years shadowing and volunteering at a sexual assault and domestic violence advocacy center. I completed research in the areas of trauma, decision making, and intimate relationships.
I completed a job shadow with a Victim Witness Coordinator, where I also conducted a year long research project on domestic violence in rural communities. During that time I completed an internship at a combined homeless shelter and food pantry. I then completed a secondary internship at a local community mental health center.
I spent four years working at that same local community mental health center where I provided crisis services, individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. I was able to earn my license during that time. I transitioned into school based social work and provided case management and therapy services in the local school setting.
I now have opened a private practice called Resiliency Counseling, which is an individualized practice focused on providing individual, couples, and family therapy services to help people who are wanting to improve their mental health in a safe, accepting, and trusting environment. I always strive to meet my patients where they are at in their mental health journey and tailor my approach to what they need. I approach therapy as a mix of processing, guidance, and challenging, in order to help a client identify, process, and reach their mental health goals.
I believe in the healing power of a strong therapeutic alliance. My practice is based on the conviction that with the right support, everyone can effect change in their lives. My style is caring and not judgmental; I utilize Cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and Brief Cognitive hypnosis to guide you in the process of learning new skills to manage your thoughts, emotions and behavior.

I'm EC an Art Therapist (MAAT + MFA), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Domestic Violence Counselor specializing in Trauma Informed Psycho-education and creative care modalities for adults, couples, families & kids. Prior to achieving this ABC Soup of credentials I identified mostly as an artist, social impact entrepanuer, designer and community activator. My work exists at the intersection of radical self-expression, relational aesthetics, and ergonomic systems. For more than a decade, I have worked with individuals navigating the human condition in the context of a sublime horror we know as the American dream.
I work especially well with creativly curious, intellectually restless, hard workers or entrepreneurs, and those who have felt alienated by social roles, institutions, or purely medicalized approaches to mental health. Many of my clients are perceptive, skilled and capable, yet feel fragmented, overextended, creatively blocked, or disconnected from achieving self-actualization.
My approach is collaborative, experiential, and structurally aware. I believe psychological health cannot be separated from holistic wellness, environment, labor, relationships, embodiment, culture, or material conditions. Together we examine not only symptoms, but the broader natural & constructed ecosystems we inhabit. We investigate mobility through social and emotional "life worlds", the narratives one has inherited, our survival strategies, what we find valuable, beautiful and how we make meaning with a life's worth of raw material.
Alongside clinical practice, I have developed community-based art and advocacy projects with justice system-impacted individuals, survivors of violence, as well as alternative labor communities. Across all of this work runs a shared question: how do human beings maintain dignity, imagination, agency, community and connection under difficult conditions?
I’m Jarom “Jay” Matheson, MSW, LCSW, a licensed clinical psychotherapist based in Chicago. Together, we focus on building effective coping tools, strengthening resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting emotional growth—one step at a time.

My goal as a therapist is to help my clients begin to address their presenting issues by creating a feeling of safety, mutual respect, and providing you with unconditional support. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University and a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois. I have extensive experience in working with ethnic and cultural diverse communities, LGBTQ+, Military Service Members, Veterans, and adult men and women with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma.
Does it ever feel like you are going through the motions, watching your life from the sidelines instead of actually living it? When things feel out of control, even making small decisions can seem impossible, and it’s hard to just be in the moment. You might find yourself stuck in a loop of overthinking while constantly worrying about what happened yesterday or stressing about what might happen tomorrow. In the end, you feel disconnected from yourself and the people who matter most.
As a fellow Christian, I understand the unique intersection of faith and life’s challenges. My mission is to walk alongside you, offering support and tools so that you can flourish whether you are a parent, spouse, student, or young adult.
My approach is inspired by evidence based practices as well as Christian values of hope, unconditional worth, and peace, as beautifully captured in Matthew 10. I approach therapy with genuine compassion and a client-centered focus.
Whether your faith in Jesus Christ is a cornerstone of your life or you are simply looking for a therapist who respects these values, I offer an integrative, non-judgmental approach.
