My name is Brittany Wright and I am a licensed LCPC, LMHCA, and CADC. I have worked with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders since 2018. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Georgia State University, and my Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I service the adult population (18+) with several concerns including, but not limited to, substance use, parent education, domestic violence victims, domestic violence offenders, anxiety, and depression.
In the first session with me, I will be prepared to listen. I would like to get to know who you are as an individual to determine the best therapeutic approach. I simply do not believe in a one-size fits all approach!
My greatest strengths as a provider are being dedicated to serving my clients as well as building a great rapport so that my clients feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts, feelings, and work collaboratively toward a better "self".
I like to utilize psychoeducation as a way for individuals to re-parent themselves, learn news tools, and begin to work toward post-traumatic growth and overall mental wellness.
I have used this method for the last three years to assist individuals with gaining an understanding of their thought patterns, and how to change them to promote improvement in daily functioning.
I have used this method to assist in emotion regulation skills, and gaining an overall improvement in mood.
