Welcome to La Conseillère Creative | Art Therapy | Contemporary Counseling
& the Studio in Situ | Creative Spaces made Anywhere!
I'm EC an Art Therapist (MAAT + MFA), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Domestic Violence Counselor specializing in Trauma Informed Psycho-education and care. Prior to achieving ABC soup status I identified as an artist, designer and community activator. My work exists at the intersection of radical self-expression, relational aesthetics, and manufactured systems. For more than a decade, I have worked with individuals navigating the human condition in the context of a sublime horror we know as the American dream.
I work especially well with creativly curious, intellectually restless, hard workers or entrepreneurs, and those who have felt alienated by social roles, institutions, or purely medicalized approaches to mental health. Many of my clients are perceptive, skilled and capable, yet feel fragmented, overextended, creatively blocked, or disconnected from achieving self-actualization.
My approach is collaborative, experiential, and structurally aware. I believe psychological health cannot be separated from holistic wellness, environment, labor, relationships, embodiment, culture, or material conditions. Together we examine not only symptoms, but the broader natural & constructed ecosystems we inhabit. We investigate mobility through social and emotional "life worlds", the narratives one has inherited, our survival strategies, what we find valuable, beautiful and how we make meaning with a life's worth of raw material.
Alongside clinical practice, I have developed community-based art and advocacy projects with justice system-impacted individuals, survivors of violence, as well as alternative labor communities. Across all of this work runs a shared question: how do human beings maintain dignity, imagination, agency, community and connection under difficult conditions?
Welcome—I'm glad you're here. Seeking support is a brave step and I aim to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, explore what matters to you, and find practical ways to move forward. Whether you're facing a sudden crisis or a long-standing struggle, we'll work together at a pace that feels safe and productive, honoring your values and strengths as we clarify goals and build lasting skills.
I provide practical, evidence-informed clinical care to adults seeking clearer thinking, steadier emotion, and healthier relationships. The desire to know yourself and to be truly known by others is central to a life worth living; I respect the courage it takes to face difficult patterns and make lasting change. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 25 years’ experience helping people navigate life challenges.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and Oregon with six years of experience in the mental health field. I do live in Illinois. I take a holistic approach with my clients but also incorporate various therapy techniques based on their needs and expectations. I strongly value the mind-body connection. Healing can be messy and uncomfortable but also beautiful at the same time.
Hi, I’m Angela. I understand that reaching out for support is often the hardest part of the journey, especially when you feel life is heavy or uncertain. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are navigating the complexities of recovery, the weight of grief, or the shifting transitions of midlife. Since 2016, I have focused my career on supporting adults through the challenges of substance use, working across all levels of care, including detox, residential, and medication-assisted treatment.
As both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor, I have invested significant additional education and clinical hours specifically in the field of addiction. I believe it is important to work with a therapist who focuses on these patterns, as alcohol and substance use rarely exist in isolation. They are often intertwined with anxiety, codependency, trauma, and relationship stress. In our sessions, we will explore how these challenges impact one another and work toward your specific goals for change, whether that involves moderation or choosing abstinence.
I am also passionate about supporting women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause. This stage of life frequently brings a surge of symptoms such as irritability, brain fog, and anxiety where you might find yourself drinking more than you intended just to get through the day. I offer a nonjudgmental space to address these symptoms, helping you develop healthier ways to cope so you can feel like yourself again.
My practice is built on a foundation of grace, respect, and the belief in the inherent dignity of every individual. I provide a supportive environment where we can work through the messiness together to build a life that aligns with your true values and goals.
I am a licensed clinical social worker by education, and I have been a licensed clinician for over 23 years. Most recently my career has brought me to work in collaboration with GROW as a private therapist. I have been working on GROW for nearly 2 years. I also work part time as a group therapy counselor for aging adults in an intensive mental health and community outreach program. I love both occupational settings and clients with ever growing passion.
We live in a fast-moving society, and it can be hard to keep up with all of our various adult life roles and responsibilities. Adults, young and mature, who are making mental health a priority in their lives are notably the most satisfied and happy individuals in this challenging society. I offer my clients a safe space to explore their experiences in this world, explore and express their feelings, get to know themselves on a deeper level, and learn skills to take control of their thoughts and emotions. I challenge my clients to intentionally practice new skills or approaches outside of our sessions. My ultimate objective is teaching my clients healthy emotion management and helping them achieve their definition of personal success and satisfaction.
I have worked with a variety of clients of various adult ages and stages. Each phase of our adult life comes with unique challenges. I have extensive and varied experience working with adults in late stages of life, long past retirement, and clients who are nearing death. The last stage of life is the most challenging and requires the most assistance yet there are limited services to support the mental health needs of the current aging population. This is a serious problem, and I am on a mission to be part of the solution.
Do you have a case of "Monkey Mind” over thinking or can’t stop thinking?
Do you believe you are not enough?
Do you struggle with self forgiveness?
Are you feeling stuck and not sure how to move forward?
Do you struggle with the funky blahs?
I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist and Self Mastery Coach, and I am dedicated to helping women facilitate powerful change through joyful self-realization that aligns with their values and desires. I treat the human spirit and in our work together you will remember the power of self love. In my practice, I honor, and acknowledge the inherent value of each person’s aspirations, cultural experience, journey, and unique story. I hold space for those who find themselves stuck in a storyline that no longer serve you. Together we will address the thinking that has shaped these behaviors, beliefs and patterns.
My goal is to help you remember that goodness is your birthright, and to know that you are the power you seek. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques including mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, and solutions focused therapy. My style is collaborative, practical and strength based.

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed my professional training at The University of Chicago Crown School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. I am passionate about providing client-centered therapy. I use evidence-based modalities rooted in mindfulness to support clients in creating a life worth living. Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am based in Illinois and I identify as a Black Therapist. I have been practicing for 14 years and I provide culturally responsible behavioral health services to adults. My role is to empower you to achieve balance between your personal, mental and emotional well-being. I am ready to assist if you are challenged with sadness/depression, achieving work/life balance, needing to make a career switch or have perinatal/postpartum concerns. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and can assist with lactation matters as they impact mental health.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing is about more than reducing symptoms—it’s about helping you reconnect with the person you were always meant to be. If you’ve been living in survival mode, carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, know that healing is possible. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you move toward lasting emotional wellness.
I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that honors the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and relationships. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to your unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals, recognizing that every healing journey is different.
Many of the people I work with have spent years putting everyone else’s needs before their own. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, burnout, unresolved trauma, grief, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Others are navigating difficult relationships, divorce, parenting challenges, or significant life changes and want healthier ways to cope. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and begin creating new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding that support the life you want to build.
Our work together will focus on understanding how past experiences continue to influence your present. We’ll explore the beliefs, behaviors, and emotional patterns that developed as protective strategies while learning practical skills to regulate your nervous system, manage stress, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, strengthen self-trust, and cultivate resilience. My goal is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to help you create meaningful, sustainable change that lasts long after therapy ends.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Indiana, with a license in Illinois. I received my Masters from Aurora University and I have been practicing for 5 years. I am a warm, empathetic therapist who helps adults become the best versions of themselves. I work to help people understand who they are and manage their various stressors, anxieties, and emotions. I use a strengths-based, solution-focused framework, I help clients recognize their resilience, build on what’s already working in their lives, and create achievable steps toward the future they want.
I work with people from all walks of life and specialize in supporting those who are detransitioning or questioning a previous transgender identification. As someone who has destransitioned myself, I'm an advocate for you. I also work with personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and so much more.
My biggest priority in therapy is honesty, as well as giving you a space you feel comfortable in so you can open up at your pace. I want to build a strong, lasting alliance between us so we can help you become the best version of yourself. I know that together, we are going to do great things.
A little about me, I have a sphynx cat named Cupid and a black cat named Tofu. Behind me sits my spider, Marrow, who burrows and builds tunnels more than she spins webs. I also enjoy playing DND, I've been drawing since I was in kindergarten, and I play lots of video games, particularly fantasy RPGs.
I’m a licensed therapist, single mother, and natural healer who brings both clinical expertise and deep intuitive understanding into my work. My path into this field wasn’t just academic—it’s personal. I’ve lived through family dynamics, relationship challenges, emotional pain, and rebuilding, which allows me to meet my clients with genuine empathy, not just theory.
I work with women, men, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside—caregivers, professionals, parents—but internally feel anxious, unfulfilled, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach blends evidence-based therapy with a deeper, more holistic lens. I pay attention not just to what’s happening cognitively, but emotionally and relationally—helping you understand the “why” beneath your patterns so real, lasting change can happen.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is both grounded and deeply perceptive, structured yet human, I offer a space where you can be fully seen and supported.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), my mission is to guide individuals on a journey back to their innate wisdom, compassion, peace, and confidence. I often think of the story of Michelangelo, who described sculpting as the act of chipping away marble to reveal the beauty already within. This metaphor beautifully captures the counseling process: together, we identify and remove the barriers obscuring your true SELF, allowing your inner brilliance to shine through.
My approach is rooted in deep compassion for the human experience. I bring to our work a blend of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, enriched by certifications in Mind-Body Bridging, Cognitively-Based Compassion Training, and Cultivating Emotional Balance. I draw from powerful therapeutic frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Compassionate Inquiry, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.

Together we make space for you to set it down, name what it's costing you, and slowly find your way back to yourself.

It is my belief that therapy is a partnership between clinician and client and it is my goal to help my clients achieve healing, wellness, resiliency, and tolerance for life’s challenges and stressors in ways that truly align with their personal goals and highest visions for themselves. I utilize evidenced based practices and my therapeutic modalities of choice are: CBT, DBT, ERP, Motivational Interviewing, REBT influence, ACT, and Mindfulness. It is my joy and pleasure to assist you in your journey.
I’m a mental health professional with a deep and varied background in education, counseling, human services, and advocacy. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside adults, youth, and families navigating trauma, identity shifts, life transitions, and the lasting weight of systemic challenges like poverty, incarceration, and intergenerational trauma. I don’t just see symptoms, I see people. Whole people. And I meet them exactly where they are.
