I have many years of experience working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders as well as individuals who have struggles with daily challenges. I have experience working in a variety of roles and settings with individuals and families.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, I provide a neutral safe space for counseling, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan based on best practice such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
Strengths
My experience working with individuals and families for over 10 years has given me the opportunity to gain insight into effective strategies and tools individuals find helpful. I'm a dedicated clinician with a wide range of experiences in different settings passionate about helping others.
Ideal clients
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. My clients are eager to gain strategies to help them in daily life. They may be having difficulty meeting parents expectations, parenting a child with special needs, or navigating adult life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is one of the modalities I use in therapy. CBT has established research efficacy in helping clients manage unhealthy thought patterns. It's helpful for individuals with anxiety, depression, and addictions as well as other disorders.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
Child Parent Psychotherapy is a modality of treatment utilized for children ages 0-5. I utilized this method to work with children and their parents.
