Hey there! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I received my Masters Degree from Chicago State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I have a combined sixteen years of experience in helping teenagers, young adults and adults navigate the challenges of life while promoting wellness and self-care. I find that it can be challenging, trying to figure out where you are presently and where you are trying to go. While navigating current life experiences, these challenges can cause frustration, with a need to seek freedom, sometimes choosing the unhealthy ways to cope. Sometimes we need a space and a support person that can help us navigate through these challenges and find healthy ways to cope. I am here to provide that support.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, this is the time where we can introduce ourselves and look at the challenges that you are currently facing. This will allow us to craft a plan that can help you navigate effectively in our future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working with youth and adults over the last sixteen years, I developed a formula that helps one to navigate and identify the root of the challenges they face, creating a practical plan that can be measured for progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT regularly when working with client that I have serviced . This module has helped many, to confront their thoughts and manage challenges such as depression and anxiety . CBT can be used to help you recognize your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how each influences each other. Once this is recognized, we can use this new information to change your thinking patterns and decrease stress and anxiousness experienced.
