Hi there! I’m Stacey Jones, a licensed mental health professional in Illinois, Indiana and Arizona. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Saint Xavier University in 2014 and have spent over a decade supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My clinical experience spans community mental health, private practice, and school-based settings, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the diverse needs of the clients I serve. I work with adults of all ages, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in the belief that healing happens when you feel safe, heard, and supported. I focus on your strengths and goals, tailoring each session to meet you where you are. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as your full self, without judgment. Together, we’ll build insight, develop effective coping tools, and work toward lasting, meaningful change. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more empowered, more connected, and better equipped to thrive in your daily life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and laying the foundation for our work together. I’ll share a bit about my background and approach to therapy, and you’ll have space to talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. We’ll explore the challenges you're facing and begin identifying the areas that feel most important to focus on. Together, we’ll collaborate on meaningful goals and start shaping a path forward that feels supportive, manageable, and aligned with your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I bring compassion, empathy, and a deep commitment to meeting you where you are. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and heard as we navigate your journey toward healing and growth. While I offer gentle guidance and emotional support, I also believe in the power of healthy challenge. I will encourage you to grow through life’s difficulties and empower you to step into the strongest, most authentic version of yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, life transitions, and trauma. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I’m here to help you navigate the path forward. My ideal clients are those who are curious about themselves and open to the process of growth, even if it feels uncomfortable at times. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore what’s holding you back and work toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you recognize and reframe unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or difficulty coping. Together, we'll explore these patterns and build healthier ways of thinking to support your emotional well-being and resilience.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

My work is grounded in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, both past and present. I often use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based approach that helps you understand how trauma has impacted your thoughts and beliefs. CPT provides practical tools to process what you've been through and begin moving forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy explores how early relationships and life experiences may be shaping the way you connect with others today. By understanding these patterns, we can work together to build healthier, more secure connections; both with yourself and the important people in your life. This approach is especially helpful for those navigating relationship challenges, trust issues, or past relational trauma.
