Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, or simply ready to prioritize your mental health, you do not have to do it alone. I am here to support you in building the insight, confidence, and skills needed to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
My philosophy towards Therapy is the following:
"The nice thing about things that are urgent is that if you wait long enough they aren’t urgent anymore.” --Dr. Amos Tversky The demands of modern society have created an environment in which every moment of every day seems to be urgent. This constant sense of urgency leads to stress, which in turn makes you feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled. You may feel like each day is no more than a series of crises and that you can’t keep up with everything. Finding your way out of this loop requires stepping outside of your daily routine and figuring out what really matters to you.
It takes a great deal of courage to seek help for oneself. I commend you for taking the first step towards improving your life and will stand by and encourage you along this journey together.
I'm Amanda Miller, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and EMDR-trained therapist who is passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that aligns with your unique goals, values, and experiences.
My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate environment where healing feels possible and progress is celebrated one step at a time. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they gain insight, strengthen resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic.
I love partnering with people on their journey to greatness. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients see the choices that are always at their disposal to unlearn past harmful messaging or combat unrelenting present symptoms. As a Black woman, I always integrate the importance of diversity. Playing small to blend in doesn't serve anyone. Whether we're different based on external or internal attributes, we all need to embrace our beautiful and different qualities so that we can live an authentic life.
My work also focuses on boundaries, challenging thoughts, and improving communication skills. I integrate role plays, affirmations, accountability, and direct introspection exercises to aid clients in quieting the noise of societal norms to embrace their true joy. All sessions are client-focused, I don't come with my own agenda. I'm excited to help you live life with confidence on your own terms. I look forward to working with you.
My Professional Background and Counseling Philosophy
My passion for mental health has shaped my work with individuals, families, and communities across a variety of settings. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with clients to enhance their well-being, drawing on my experience across diverse settings, including hospital Emergency Departments, psychiatric units, community organizations, and mental health agencies. My professional journey includes supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, assisting those facing mental illness, and working with people who have experienced homelessness and hopelessness. I have also provided both individual and group therapy within clinical settings.
Counseling Philosophy
At the core of my counseling practice is the belief that meaningful change occurs through collaboration and purposeful effort. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives and encourage them to take an active role in their treatment by investing time and energy in the process. Together, we identify the outcomes that matter most to the client and work to ensure consistent progress toward those goals. My approach centers on empowering clients by fostering self-awareness and resilience, and I am dedicated to ensuring every individual feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Commitment to Client Autonomy
What distinguishes my counseling style is a steadfast commitment to honoring each client’s autonomy. For example, I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety and self-doubt. By collaborating closely, we identify the client’s unique strengths and develop practical coping strategies tailored to their needs. As clients move through this process, they gradually regain their confidence and begin taking meaningful steps toward their desired outcomes. This experience reinforced for me the importance and effectiveness of a supportive, empowering therapeutic alliance. In every interaction, my focus is on achieving the best possible results and facilitating lasting, positive change.
Hi, I’m Christina, and I believe therapy works best when it feels real, human, and—sometimes—a little humorous. I use a trauma-informed and narrative approach to help clients make sense of their stories and find new ways to move forward. My style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative; I view therapy as a space where you can safely explore the aspects of your past that still resonate today, while also discovering your resilience and inner strength.
Outside of sessions, you can usually find me hiking a trail, catching a good movie, or spending time with my son. I also enjoy yoga, a good burger, and shopping for spooky things. I bring that same curiosity, creativity, and authenticity into my work with clients.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia. I received my Masters from Southern University at New Orleans and have been practicing for 18 years. I work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, LGBTQIA+ issues, domestic abuse, and mood disorders. I believe my clients have the solutions to their issues, but needs a little help navigating through the process.
Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. I'm Joe, and I would be honored to meet with you and learn about any challenges or concerns that you may be facing. I have spent my entire 30+ year career helping people address and manage various personal and professional matters, and I consider it a privilege for me to be a resource for my clients. Whether you are experiencing significant challenges, simply want to engage in self-improvement, or anything in between, I'd be grateful to walk alongside you during this time.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I often use experiential therapy approaches such as watching brief video clips and reviewing concise online media, as well as role playing, etc. to help broaden the overall service experience.
I have authored and published two personal development books (2018 & 2024) wherein I offer tips to help people manage life in a healthy manner and improve their capacity for success. I utilize the approaches in these books in my personal life, and I sometimes refer to them in sessions as a way to illustrate various concepts. I also generally give each of my clients a copy of these books (for free) as an additional resource for their journey.
As a Therapist, I create a safe supportive environment and help people Heal, Grow, & Thrive!
Please reach out to me today and let's work together, discover new insights, and identify effective solutions to address your concerns.
I look forward to hearing from you. Until then... Be Well! ~ Joe

I provide counseling for children, teens, and young adults in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach is strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and sensitive to past experiences. In therapy, I help clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence so they can better manage stress, big emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change by giving clients practical tools they can use in real life.
In addition to counseling, I offer comprehensive psychological evaluations to help families better understand concerns related to attention and focus (ADHD), autism, learning differences, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, and executive functioning skills such as organization and self-control. These evaluations are thorough but easy to understand and highlight both strengths and areas needing support. When appropriate, I provide clear diagnoses along with practical, individualized recommendations that families and schools can use right away.
