I guide clients to uncover their strengths, explore challenges safely, and develop practical tools that help them navigate emotions, relationships, and personal growth. My goal is to support you in building resilience, gaining clarity, and living a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.
Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.
I am an LCSW and certified addiction counselor with over 25 years of providing behavioral health and addiction services. I began my career in behavioral health while serving in the United States Air Force. There I provided counseling and support to my fellow Airmen. I believe that everyone deserves to live their best life. This led me to further my education. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. Then later obtained a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia.
When I am not scrapbooking, sewing or creating in my craft room, you can find me volunteering in the community, spending time with friends or traveling.
