Hello, I am Semika Roach, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over nine years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I specialize in the areas of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and personal growth. My journey into therapy began with a deep curiosity about the human mind and the desire to help others find strength through life’s hardest challenges. During my graduate training, I had the opportunity to work in various clinical settings. These experiences showed me the powerful role therapy can play in recovery and solidified my commitment to supporting others through their healing journeys. I’m continually driven by the fundamental belief that everyone has the potential for positive growth and change. Seeing my clients gain confidence or find peace makes my work incredibly rewarding.

I am a LPC and a Certified Anger Management Specialist II. I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology, a 2nd Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling and Sex therapy, and am an EMDR trained therapist. I have extensive training in Anger management, mood disorders (anxiety/depression), family systems, ABA, , infertility, and many more. I’m always working to keep myself well-educated and eclectic. I love being a helper. I love to challenge perspectives, interrupting negative patterns, and aiding in the transformation of minds. My passion is to help aid my clients in identifying who they are, where they are, and where they are wanting to get too. I work to help resolve conflict individually, in families, and/or in relationships. Each client’s story and the journey are specific to them so my goal is to shape treatment to the specific needs of each person. We will work through the difficult moments, learn skills to aid in independence, and become comfortable enough to reach out for support when something is not working. Breaking patterns and creating new ones based off the person/family/couple you strive to be is the goal of each session.
