As a military daughter, sister, and granddaughter, I have experienced firsthand the unique challenges that come with military life. My family was stationed at Fort Stewart before we settled in Statesboro. Since 2016, I have dedicated my career to working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I achieved my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in 2021. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative approach. I strive to understand each client's unique story and work together to develop personalized strategies that promote healing and growth. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices that empower clients to better understand their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I integrate several therapeutic modalities in my work, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches. Through these methods, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful or “stuck” beliefs related to past experiences, strengthen personal motivation for growth, and develop greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present moment.
My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore difficult emotions and experiences. Together, we work to develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate healthier perspectives that support long-term well-being.

I have over six years of experience working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. I recognize that no two people experience these challenges in exactly the same way, which is why I tailor therapy to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. When appropriate, I incorporate evidence-based interventions such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support your individual goals.
I believe therapy works best as a partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—offering support, empathy, and clinical guidance while honoring your autonomy throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we’ll create a space that honors who you are, where you are, and where you hope to go.

Are you striving to find satisfaction with your work, life or relationships? Do you want to focus on fixing immediate problems rather than unraveling past hurts? Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. I see my role as a co-author, helping you develop an alternate personal history so that you may move forward with courage and confidence.

I am a Black woman of faith who is also a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. I work with women, ages 18-64, living with mental health challenges who have experienced trauma from the general community as well as those who are active military and veterans, first responders, and law enforcement. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Christian Counseling, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and more to empower clients to build resilience, develop and understanding of what they can do to cope effectively as they navigate this healing journey and achieve a sense of self-confidence and self-esteem. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel seen and heard, as well as unlock their potential and achieve positive change and growth.
I believe in offering a space where you can simply be yourself — no performing, no shrinking, no pretending you’re okay when you’re not. The work we do together is collaborative and deeply human. It’s a space where your emotions are met with respect, your questions are taken seriously, and your growth unfolds at a pace that feels steady and safe. I support people who are navigating anxiety, depression, major life changes, relationship stress, women’s issues, and those heavy seasons where everything feels confusing or stuck. Together, we move toward clarity, emotional balance, and a more grounded connection to the version of you that’s been hard to access under the weight of it all.
My approach is shaped by the years I spent navigating different backgrounds and environment of living situations. Those experiences broadened my understanding of identity, culture, and the many ways people learn to cope, survive, and make meaning. My experiences have taught me to honor the values and perspectives each person brings, and to approach every story with genuine curiosity and respect and to listen to understand and seek clarity. That awareness is woven into my work — steady, culturally attuned, and deeply aware of the complexity of individual's challenges.
I’m a therapist who believes in practical tools and deep understanding working hand in hand. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you move toward where you want to be. My approach combines evidence-based techniques like CBT and ACT with a focus on your values, strengths, and real-life goals. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, we’ll collaborate to build clarity and resilience. You’ll find a safe, supportive space where we focus on creating meaningful change—together.
I provide counseling for children, teens, and young adults in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach is strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and sensitive to past experiences. In therapy, I help clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence so they can better manage stress, big emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change by giving clients practical tools they can use in real life.
In addition to counseling, I offer comprehensive psychological evaluations to help families better understand concerns related to attention and focus (ADHD), autism, learning differences, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, and executive functioning skills such as organization and self-control. These evaluations are thorough but easy to understand and highlight both strengths and areas needing support. When appropriate, I provide clear diagnoses along with practical, individualized recommendations that families and schools can use right away.

My name is Ayana Green, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. I am dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges through a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care. Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. I have been working in the behavioral health field for 10 years but have 7 years of post-graduate (MSW) experience. I have worked with children, teens and adults in a variety of settings. Primarily, my work has been with adults of all ages experiencing issues with addiction and co-occurring disorders including anxiety, PTSD and mood disorders. I have also worked in the crisis setting during which I helped clients through some of their most vulnerable moments.
Counseling is my gift that makes room for me. It is more than a job to me. It is a part of who I am. I am a Christian and this you will see even in the counsel that is given. I will not judge anyone but I will challenge anyone to meet the goals they set in counseling. I am a Father figure and very passionate about what I do.
