Hi! I'm a licensed therapist in Georgia. I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was in the 3rd grade. I would wait at the swing set for my friends to come talk to me about their problems. As someone who was born into poverty and struggled with traumas of my own, I know how difficult life can be at times. Being there for others was something that took my mind off of the stressors of home. After becoming a teen mom, I knew I had to change my life for the better to support my family. I went to college to both heal myself and learn how to help and heal others. I am passionate about helping others meet their goals, feel happy, and have loving supportive relationships in their lives. I believe in practicing what I preach, so you know that if I'm asking you to try something then I've tried it myself and know it works. I believe that we all have the answers inside of us, I just help you find them.

My name is Leslie Stover, I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina. I am a proud graduate of Howard University's Social Work program. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and family issues. With 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients improve their lives and overcome challenging moments. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
My philosophy towards Therapy is the following:
"The nice thing about things that are urgent is that if you wait long enough they aren’t urgent anymore.” --Dr. Amos Tversky The demands of modern society have created an environment in which every moment of every day seems to be urgent. This constant sense of urgency leads to stress, which in turn makes you feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled. You may feel like each day is no more than a series of crises and that you can’t keep up with everything. Finding your way out of this loop requires stepping outside of your daily routine and figuring out what really matters to you.
It takes a great deal of courage to seek help for oneself. I commend you for taking the first step towards improving your life and will stand by and encourage you along this journey together.

If you are not where you know you should be in life, I look forward to working with you to begin your journey towards spiritual, mental and emotional wellness and lifelong fulfillment.
You keep showing up fully in relationships, but rarely feel met in the same way. On the outside, you’re capable and composed. On the inside, you may feel anxious, unfulfilled, or quietly questioning yourself. You might overgive, take on emotional labor, or fall into familiar roles that no longer feel aligned.
These experiences are often connected to anxiety, attachment patterns, or past relational wounds — and they can change.
I’m Fatima, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia. I work with high-functioning women who want to understand the emotional dynamics shaping their relationships and reconnect with a grounded, confident sense of self. Hello, I'm Dr. Ellinor Burke and I'm a psychologist licensed in the state of Georgia. I've been in practice for more than 20 years and I've struggled with some of the same issues many of you do. I have developed effective treatments for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because I have dealt with this disorder myself. If you're looking for an effective treatment I have one. Many of us are worriers and have anxiety related to this. Anxiety can have a draining effect on your life but it is treatable. .I use cognitive and behavioral therapy combined with supportive therapy to help you get to that positive place in your life. If you're dealing with depression I'm also here to help by looking at how your thoughts feelings and behaviors influence each other and how we can work together to deal with these issues. I see patients with varying issues and from many age groups. All in all a diverse population.
I was a school psychologist for more than ten years and I do educational assessments as well as therapy for adolescents. I find teenagers are some of the most challenging and rewarding to work with.
My work is very emotionally rewarding which is why I've been in practice for so many years. I'm now considering expanding my practice to a hybrid practice which will include seeing clients both remotely and in my office. Therapy begins with me getting to know you and for you to feel comfortable with me. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment because therapy works when we have a positive connection which I hope we will have.
My focus is on helping people find purpose and empowering themselves, which includes the development of self-awareness and self-worth. I believe in the power of a supportive and strong relationship between therapist and client. In order for healing or change to occur, I utilize various therapeutic approaches and techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/CBT and Dialectical Behavior Therapy/DBT. I believe that it is important for a client to commit to the process and have enough trust in me so that growth and healing can take place.

Hi. I'm Christine. Over-stressed and demoralized these days? Are familiar activities and places that you've found soothing suddenly not offering relief from anxiety and depression? There is no failure or shame in revamping your coping skills, finding inspiration in new narratives, and challenging old beliefs that keep you from embracing the many versions (discovered and undiscovered) of you! Are you caught in the comparison trap? Spiraling in a bad algorithm? I will help you find meaningful connection, improve relationship skills, and teach emotional regulation strategies. Life transitions can be tricky too, and it can be helpful to talk though periods of loss and change.
