Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. I have been working in the behavioral health field for 10 years but have 7 years of post-graduate (MSW) experience. I have worked with children, teens and adults in a variety of settings. Primarily, my work has been with adults of all ages experiencing issues with addiction and co-occurring disorders including anxiety, PTSD and mood disorders. I have also worked in the crisis setting during which I helped clients through some of their most vulnerable moments.
In our first session, we will introduce ourselves, discuss your most pressing issues and identify your goals for therapy. This will give you an opportunity to decide if I am the best fit for your needs.
Having worked in the behavioral health setting for the past 10 years, I will use a nonjudgmental approach to help you identify and change unhelpful thoughts, patterns and behaviors. My experiences working with trauma and PTSD will help me make connections between your past experiences to your present which will help you to develop a sense of self-compassion and understanding.
I enjoy working with clients who are ready to take the next step in their healing journey whether they are healing from addiction, trauma or another one of life's many obstacles. I am here to meet you where you are in this journey and provide you with the tools, guidance and support needed to reach your goals.
