I believe in a person’s ability to bring balance and harmony into their lives as they return to their whole self. I take a holistic and integrative approach to partnering with you on your goals. My offerings are centered around supporting you and the unique challenges that may exist. I have experience supporting persons from a variety of backgrounds and concerns such as life transitions, burnout, stress-management and perinatal mental health etc. Three words to describe my approach are compassionate, supportive and empowering. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space in which clients can explore thoughts, feelings and experiences.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of making a meaningful impact in our communities, schools, and families.
My passion for helping others led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from Macon State College and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am committed to ongoing professional growth and have pursued several certifications and affiliations in my field.
My true calling is empowering individuals to become self-aware, identify, and heal from generational challenges. I understand the unique struggles people face in various communities and am deeply dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for healing and personal growth.
I am a clinical social worker who provides individual therapy for adults. Over the course of my 20 plus year career, I have worked in various settings with a variety of client populations and concerns (anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, self-esteem, assertive communication, adjustment to major life changes, and relationship concerns). As a therapist my role is to provide a non-judgmental, safe environment for individuals to explore their life issues and support them in their personal growth. I find that a lot of us struggle with listening to our inner critic and often beat ourselves up for past regrets, as well as spending a lot of valuable time worrying about the past and the "what if's" in the future. I hope we can work together to quiet this critic and find a way to enjoy the present.
Please note that my education and experience does not include working with clients presenting with eating disorders, complex PTSD/trauma, or OCD.

. Hello, I'm Brenda Ned, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life challenges. My experience spans working with clients dealing with stress, anger management, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, and social anxiety. I believe that with the right support and willingness to work towards goals, anyone can change their circumstances and improve their quality of life. My approach to therapy is rooted in several methodologies, including Rogerian, person-centered, existential, and CBT. The person-centered approach is fundamental in my practice, as it allows me to focus on your unique needs and facilitate meaningful progress through empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. I practice active listening, ensuring you feel heard and understood by rephrasing your statements and asking pertinent questions. In our sessions, I strive to be a role model through congruence, demonstrating authenticity and consistency. I look forward to hearing from you.
Do you find yourself overthinking? Maybe placing else's needs before your own and struggling to say no without guilt? Feeling responsible for keeping the peace, managing other people's emotions, or living up to expectations that no longer fit who you are? Sound familiar?
Patterns like these can quietly shape our relationships, our self-worth, and our boundaries well into adulthood. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in the same frustrating cycles, I want you to know something a lot of people don't expect to hear in therapy: you don't have to spend months dissecting the past before things can start to change.
I help individuals through hard transitions and difficult pasts get clear on what they truly want their life to look like — and take meaningful steps to get there.
Instead of asking you to spend session after session focused on what's wrong, I'm interested in helping you discover what you want instead — and what might help you move closer to it. Progress can begin with small changes, and we'll pay attention to those changes as they happen.
I am Ebony Yelder, LPC. My career has taken me into many different settings, including behavioral health hospitals, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, in-home therapy, and work with the Department of Defense supporting service members and their families. Each experience has shaped the way I practice today and reinforced something I continue to believe people often have more strength, resilience, and resources within them than they realize.

I always knew that I wanted to be a helping professional. As part of an assignment, while taking a counseling course designed to assist offenders with substance abuse problems, I had to write in five words or less what I wanted people to remember about me. My words were “helped people live better lives.”
I have over 30 years of experience working with clients who live with psychiatric and substance use disorders. I started my "helping" career working for the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). After observing the effects of early childhood trauma on many of the offenders that I supervised, I decided to end my 21-year career with GDC and pursue an education in counseling. I have never regretted this decision! For the last 6 years I have provided psychotherapy for individuals and groups.
I love doing what I believe I have been called to do and my life's work remains guided by those five simple words in my title. I look forward to helping you learn to live a better life!

You may notice that some sessions are held off video or in a hybrid format. This is an intentional part of how I practice. As a neurodivergent clinician, not always being on video allows me to be more fully present, attuned, and grounded in the work. Many clients find this creates a more comfortable space to show up openly and authentically.
That said, I aim to meet clients where they are, and we can always discuss what session format feels most supportive for you.
