About me

Welcome, and thank you for taking the first step toward your healing journey. My name is Juliet Stephenson, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals find emotional wholeness, clarity, and peace. I believe that therapy is a powerful space for healing—where your experiences are honored, your voice is heard, and your growth is supported with compassion and clinical care. My passion is working with adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma, relationship challenges, stress, and emotional overwhelm. With years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment settings, I bring a trauma-informed, client-centered, and spiritually grounded approach to healing. In a world that feels increasingly fast-paced and demanding, it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs. Therapy can be the place where you choose yourself again. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate presence as you navigate your personal “becoming” journey. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or struggling in your relationships or parenting, you don’t have to face it alone. Healing is possible, and together we can work toward clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. I understand that every person’s story is unique. Because of that, I draw from evidence-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches to create a therapeutic experience that fits you. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can process, grow, and reclaim what matters most. Whenever you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here. Let’s begin.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Many individuals come to therapy because they feel unheard, unsupported, or emotionally exhausted. You deserve a space where your emotions matter, your pain is valid, and your story is honored. I am committed to providing the highest quality of care and fostering a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration. On your first session expect a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental environment, transparency, trust with added discussion of confidentiality. Treatment approach and techniques will be explained along with explaining your rights and responsibilities.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I like to say my niche is trauma, with that I approach the healing process in a chronological stance. I believe inner strength comes from within and so healing all the girls/boys within is the key to the "Becoming" journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help clients navigate: Trauma and childhood emotional wounds Anxiety, depression, and life transitions Family and relationship concerns Low self-esteem and identity struggles Faith-based concerns (for clients who desire this) Grief, loss, and recovery from unhealthy patterns. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, mindfulness-based techniques, solution-focused strategies, and narrative work. I believe no single approach fits all, so I tailor therapy to your unique needs, culture, values, and goals. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where healing becomes possible and where you can reconnect with your strengths, rebuild confidence, and step into the life you deserve. If you are ready to begin this journey, I am here to support you with compassion, clarity, and dedication.
