I am first and foremost a lover of people. My approach is authentic, supportive, empathetic, and understanding of the difficulties many experience in life having to manage mental health symptoms, feelings of being alone/misunderstood, dealing with the ramifications of historical trauma and the impact these can have on one's current relationships. My greatest strength is quickly building rapport and focusing on holistic wellness (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically) and the connection between them. I am devoted to best care practices and excellent service delivery. I align myself well and tend to the immediate needs, desires, and goals of the person I'm working with. I don't believe that therapy is about learning to 'suffer less' but to work towards realizing one's full potential and highest level of functioning, identifying and working to resolve barriers that stand in the way, and developing the ability to trust in oneself, and one's ability to thrive in life. Every goal that is important to my client is important to me.

As a Licensed Psychotherapist serving clients in Florida, Georgia, New Hampshire, and Texas, I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and reconnection. I believe that true healing is not just about the mind, but also about honoring the body and nurturing the spirit. This belief has shaped my Somatic Insight Therapeutic Approach—one that gently invites you back into relationship with yourself. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, I have seen how powerful it can be when we slow down and begin to listen to what the body is holding. Together, we create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your inner experiences with curiosity and compassion. By weaving together mindfulness, body awareness, and evidence-based therapeutic practices, I help you tune into your emotions, understand your nervous system, and move through your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Our work together is collaborative and personalized. We may integrate reflective conversation, breathwork, and gentle somatic practices to help you reconnect with your body, build self-awareness, and find a sense of grounding and steadiness within. My intention is to support you in feeling more at home in yourself—more connected, more resourced, and more empowered in your healing. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, life transitions, or the lingering effects of trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. Hi there! I'm a therapist who specializes in helping people overcome people-pleasing tendencies and trauma. You might be tired of constantly putting the needs of others before your own, feeling like you're never enough, or struggling to set healthy boundaries. It can be overwhelming to navigate these challenges on your own, but together, we can work towards building your self-esteem, creating space for your own needs, and developing new ways of communicating with others. If you've experienced trauma, it can be difficult to trust others and feel safe in your everyday life. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other symptoms that make it hard to move forward. I want you to know that healing is possible, and you don't have to go through this alone. Using evidence-based therapies like Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I can help you process your experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and move towards a more fulfilling life.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of professional mental health experience. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology in 2008 and my Master's degree in Counselor Education, with a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, in 2012. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, which has given me a wide range of clinical experience and allowed me to work with clients from different walks of life and cultural backgrounds. I am radical and revolutionary in thought and praxis and believe in a liberated and equitable world for all people. Clients who tend to be attracted to me are those who may struggle with a lack of confidence and self-esteem, those who are plagued with "Imposter Syndrome", and those who identify as people-pleasers. I also work with People of Color on healing internalized oppression. My clients are often very bright and self-aware but feel they are missing the tools, accountability and higher-level knowledge to get themselves into action and start making tangible, concrete progress. Additional areas of focus: Addictions, LGBT, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Intimacy-related issues, Depression, Coping with life changes, Life Purpose, Multicultural Concerns, Prejudice and Discrimination, Self-Love, Women's Issues Therapy does not have to be a years-long, overwhelming or deeply painful process. Many people I have worked with have remarked that they were surprised at how quickly they were able to feel a sense of progress, where they felt stagnant for years or decades prior. While I am very good at what I do, I can only meet you as far and as deep as you are willing to go yourself. Those who are proactive about their healing work and take responsibility tend to make the most progress in the least amount of time.

I believe that healing begins in a relationship where you feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can explore life's challenges with honesty and curiosity. My role is not to tell you who to be or what decisions to make. Instead, I serve as a compassionate guide, helping you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and discover strengths you may not yet see in yourself. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I understand that our early experiences shape how we view ourselves, connect with others, and respond to life's challenges. Together, we'll explore those experiences with compassion, helping you rewrite unhelpful narratives and build healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. I bring warmth, empathy, curiosity, and gentle honesty to each session, creating an environment where you can be your full, authentic self. While I offer support and validation, I also encourage reflection and meaningful action so that lasting change can take place. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, healing from past wounds, strengthening relationships, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am committed to walking alongside you every step of the way. My goal is to help you cultivate resilience, self-compassion, and confidence so you can create a life that feels aligned with your values and authentic sense of self. I believe therapy is not about fixing what is "wrong" with you—it's about uncovering your strengths, fostering emotional healing, and empowering you to move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and peace.

We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
