Painful experiences often lead people to develop protective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. These strategies may appear as perfectionism, emotional avoidance, anger toward loved ones, or repeated involvement in unhealthy relationships. While they can offer temporary relief, they often create disconnection from oneself and others, contributing to feelings of loneliness, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I am dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their sense of self worth and process traumatic experiences that contribute to insecure attachment and unhelpful patterns. I believe that although emotional wounds often occur within relationships, healing also takes place through safe and supportive connection. With compassion, courage, and a willingness to explore difficult experiences, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Healing can happen, and there is always hope.
I offer a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. Whether you’re navigating loss, transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, our work together can help you explore meaning, clarify purpose, and move toward a more authentic and grounded sense of well-being. I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and respect, believing it can be a space not only for healing, but also for reclaiming parts of yourself and imagining new possibilities.

Hi, I'm Katie, a Licensed Clinical Social.
Helping and supporting others has been a driving factor in my life; therefore, I began my career as a teacher. My education and experience in the classroom greatly influenced me; however, I saw how difficult it is to learn when one is struggling with many emotional and mental health needs. While in graduate school, I transitioned to working with families in more of a case management role. During that time, I started noticing how the adults I worked with were often struggling and had not received the help they needed. After completing graduate school, I began working in an inpatient hospital that treats mental health and chemical dependency. After several years working with patients individually and facilitating group therapy, I transitioned to managing an intensive outpatient mental health program for senior adults. In this role, I facilitated group therapy and met with patients individually at times. I greatly enjoyed getting to know my clients and cheering alongside them as they made progress. While I value group therapy, I recognize that it is not the right fit for everyone. Therefore, I have set up a private practice to meet the needs of individuals in ways I was unable to do in previous roles. I believe change is possible and that each person has strengths and life experiences that they can draw upon to help themselves move forward. My passion is helping clients utilize what they already have, learn additional tools for coping, and develop healthier ways of thinking.
Hi, I’m Christine Robinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals, children, and families find hope, healing, and balance. I work with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated or anxious. I provide support as well as pride myself in a person centered approach, meeting my client where they are, and helping them to meet goals that they wish to achieve. I am compassionate about working with individuals facing infertility or health challanges.
Hi, I am Dr. Rolanda Harris. I hold a Doctorate in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Alabama and Florida, as well as a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I am the owner of Intentional Counseling and Consulting, LLC. I have 24 years of experience supporting and empowering individuals to navigate and cope with life's challenges. I am an intentional counselor who proactively plans my interactions and interventions based on a clear understanding of your situation and desired outcomes. I aim to understand your needs, strengths, and values to create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and fosters positive change. Intention is more than wishful thinking; it is willful direction.
As an intentional counselor, I have had the privilege of working with chronically and terminally ill patients and their families, supporting them as they manage the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual impact of their illness. I have experience working with college students needing support adjusting to college life, building confidence, navigating social situations, and managing stress and anxiety. I have spent years walking with bereaved individuals as they process intense emotions, attempt to understand the grieving process, and find meaning after loss. It has been an honor to support elderly individuals managing grief, the fear of mortality and aging, adapting to retirement, addressing social isolation, and experiencing a range of mental health challenges. I have also had the pleasure of supporting single mothers as they navigate the emotional impact of motherhood, mental health issues, financial stress, and building a support system.
In my practice, I do not rely solely on one specific theory, but rather draw upon different theoretical perspectives. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Reminiscence Therapy, and Grief Therapy.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 25 years. I am passionate about helping my clients overcome their perceived challenges and find their inner strength. I help my clients find confidence, joy, and improved connections with others.
I grew up overseas and have lived around the world, giving me the opportunity to learn about other cultures and beliefs. This global experience has given me compassion and a greater understanding of situations beyond my own.

Psychology has always been my passion and I truly love working in the field to provide a warm environment for my clients to grow. I am a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) with 8+ years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. I have found that I most enjoy providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults and am knowledgeable in a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders, substance abuse and difficulty adjusting to life changes. Over the past few years, I have found that I have gained a great deal of personal and professional experience with woman suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This is a very underserved population and I hope to help change that one client at a time. Other underserved populations I have extensive experience with are adult children of alcoholics and those suffering from religious trauma syndrome.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about walking alongside individuals who want to heal, grow, and build healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. Over the years, I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and difficulties in relationships, and I have seen firsthand how meaningful therapy can be when it feels both safe and effective. I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel understood and supported while also learning concrete tools to create change in your everyday life. My role is to listen as well as help you gain insight, shift unhelpful patterns, and strengthen your confidence in managing stressors. I bring warmth, compassion, and evidence-based strategies to my work so that clients leave sessions feeling both validated and equipped to move forward.
Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses.
I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience.
Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection.
As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.
Starting therapy can be a difficult process. I make this process as easy for you as possible. Therapy starts with us getting to know each other and for me to understand your needs for treatment. I want to make sure that I can meet your requirements and help you work on what you came into treatment for or find you someone who can. As a therapist, I help you become the best version of yourself. My job is to give you the skills to manage difficulties when they occur. Situations occur that you may not feel equipped to handle. Let me support you to help you get through and gain insight about yourself and your ability to handle things in the future. I provide a comfortable and non-intrusive environment. I work with people to help them develop a strong sense of self, learn to have healthier relationships, learn mindfulness, distress tolerance skills, and other ways to regulate their emotions, reduce anxiety, and learn to be less impulsive. If you have moments when you think you should reach out for help or support, even if the thoughts are fleeting, I encourage you to reach out to me for support.
I’m a therapist who is passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds navigate life’s challenges and connect more deeply with their strengths, values, and goals. Whether you're dealing with the effects of trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, managing ADHD, or simply seeking greater clarity and balance, I provide a supportive space where healing and growth are possible. With years of experience in both mental health and advocacy, I bring a social justice and multicultural lens to my work. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for all clients—regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity; where you feel seen, respected, and heard.

Call me Ben! I've been in private practice for 5 years and the mental health field at-large for close to a decade. I'm a big advocate for mindfulness (and ACT) and how it can be used alongside and incorporated into the therapeutic relationship to make tremendous strides in addressing one's mental health. I live in Asheville, North Carolina with my wife and our two cats. I love to go hiking and kayaking, I own a record store where I also work, and love a good gaming session with my friends.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. I obtained my Masters Degree from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY in 1998. I enjoy assisting others in redesigning their lives. My focus is on individual and couples counseling. Do you find yourself appearing capable and composed on the outside while quietly carrying a constant sense of pressure, responsibility, or emotional exhaustion on the inside? Many high-functioning professionals and women are skilled at managing work, relationships, and expectations, yet still feel overwhelmed by the invisible weight they carry.
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to creating a safe and affirming space where your experiences are heard, respected, and explored without judgment. My counseling approach honors the complexity of your life and the cultural, relational, and personal factors that shape how you show up in the world. Together, we examine the patterns that contribute to stress, over-responsibility, emotional urgency, and difficulty prioritizing your own needs.
In therapy, we work to slow down the cycle of constant doing and shift toward greater clarity, regulation, and self-understanding. This process often includes identifying long-standing patterns, strengthening emotional boundaries, and building healthier ways of responding to stress, relationships, and internal pressure.
My goal is to support you in processing life’s challenges while reconnecting with your strengths and capacity for balance. At the center of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins with awareness, followed by intentional repair and compassionate growth—an approach reflected in the Break. Repair. Heal.™ framework that guides my practice.
With over 17 years of experience in social services and 7 years as a practicing therapist, I have developed a deep appreciation for the power of connection, the courage of my clients, and the transformative nature of safe, consistent therapeutic work. My motivation to work in mental health stems from witnessing, time and again, the profound change that occurs when individuals are truly seen, heard, and supported in a space where they feel emotionally safe.
I am a licensed clinical social worker currently based in Florida, with an MSW degree from New York University. I have 30 years of experience in providing mental health services in community mental health clinics, psychiatric facilities and criminal justice facilities. Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep.
I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people.
I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.
I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. Feeling safe, understood, and supported makes real healing possible.
I work with young adults healing from childhood trauma and PTSD, and with individuals navigating major life changes related to medical conditions or aging. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based practices to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and regain a sense of control.
Therapy isn’t about “just getting over it.” It’s about making sense of your experiences and learning how to move forward in a way that feels right for you. If you’re ready to start, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I am caring, compassionate, and a very good listener. I am a Christian, wife of a Veteran, mother, and grandmother. My heritage is Caribbean-American. I grew up in South Florida with four sisters and two brothers. I was very independent at a very young age and willing to help out wherever.
I am a musician starting with piano in elementary school, then clarinet in middle school, and bass clarinet and bassoon in high school. I love music and find it beneficial in every aspect of life.
I decided to grow my family before pursuing a career. I decided to pursue a career in the mental health field because of a family member being diagnosed with a severe mental health disorder. I earned my AA in Psychology, then a dual degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science. After my undergrad, I went on to receive my master's in social work.
I have worked with Veterans, homeless, hospice, young adults, children, elders, couples and individuals with severe mental health diagnoses.
In my pursuit to help my family member, I became even more passionate about mental health and reducing the negative stigma attached to it. This passion I share with everyone I encounter.

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker and have over 18 years experience working with individuals and families. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. If you’re looking for a therapist who is genuine, supportive, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and confident in your life, I’d be honored to work with you!
I have an array of experience working with diverse cultures, ethnicities, the LGBTQ community, survivors of narcissistic abuse, clients who have loved ones that are experiencing challenges with substance abuse, survivors of domestic violence, and various socio-economic backgrounds. In the beginning stages of my career, I worked with teenagers in foster care settings, alternative schools, and college students with disabilities. A few years later, I transitioned into working with adults and seniors in hospital settings, home health, hospice care, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
I am also a certified financial social worker, and by client request, am open to work with my clients on improving their financial health by addressing the emotional, behavioral, and psychological factors behind money management.
My primary language is English and my second language is Spanish (Intermediate level). I enjoy traveling, and learning other languages and cultures as well!
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida Gulf Coast University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I see all adults, but in particular I focus on folks that are dealing with life changes such as struggling with a new or changing diagnosis, reclaiming your identity, grief, or depression and anxiety. I want you to know that the time we spend together is for YOU, so it will be focused on what you want to talk about. Therapy can be hard work but I'd like to make it easier on you. Let's work together!
