In our first session you can expect to learn more about somatic therapies, and other mind-body bridging practices. By the end of the session you will have some tools you can start using right away. We will work together to identify your goals for therapy and create a treatment plan just for you. I specialize in treatments that get you grounded, with a sense of safety, acceptance of what is, and curiosity and excitement about what could be! Before I became a therapist, I was a yoga and mindfulness educator for 30+ years. I bring my expertise in mindfulness, meditation and breath work into every session treating mind, body and spirit. I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity.
