I received my graduate clinical degree, M.S. in family therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and previous to this I received my undergraduate degree, B.S. in sociology with minors in psychology and child development in 2011 from Florida State University. I have been in the mental health field since 2012. I received her Masters degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I have worked with adults, adolescents, children, and their families in both the Miami-Dade and Broward County School settings as well as adults and adolescents throughout the state of Florida in home, clinic and telehealth settings. I am passionate about a healthy family system being at the utmost importance to allow an individual to live a fulfilled and well balanced lifestyle. My psychotherapy educational background, along with my concentration in both CBT and Solutions-Focused therapies assist me in my systemic approach to treatment both in the individual's heart and his or her mind as well as all of the physical environments the individual takes part in daily (work, school, home, social).

Most of my experience is working with clients who have struggled with anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, self esteem, and executive functioning. I graduated from University of West Florida with my Masters in Social Work in 2014. I genuinely want to connect, support, and help people see life differently.

I approach life with the understanding that pain is a natural part of the human experience, yet how we interpret and handle that pain can be a choice. My goal is to assist you in developing strategies to navigate life's challenges more effectively. I use person centered and mindfulness based therapy that increases self awareness. Through cognitive based therapy, you can challenge barriers that prevent you from reaching your goals.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida; and a retired U.S. Navy veteran of over 20 years of military service. I attained my master's in clinical mental health counseling at Nova Southeastern University. I provide treatment to adults dealing depression, anxiety, and addictive behaviors and I will work collaboratively with you to create a tailored plan based on your needs that may include helping you clarify your desires, learn new tools that would lead you to a more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
