As a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist, I am committed to providing comprehensive care to individuals across the lifespan. My therapeutic approach is holistic, collaborative, and person-centered, encouraging active participation in the healing process. When appropriate, I am also equipped to incorporate faith-based interventions in alignment with the client's preferences. In my role as a psychotherapist, I strive to offer steadfast support and empathetic guidance as clients work toward their therapeutic goals. Together, we will engage in a meaningful and transformative process aimed at dismantling generational patterns, addressing intrusive thoughts, and fostering a deeper understanding of emotional experiences, behavioral responses, and interpersonal dynamics. It would be a privilege to accompany you on this journey of personal growth, as you work to reshape your narrative and cultivate a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our initial session will begin with brief introductions and the start of the intake process. This includes creating a supportive space for you to share your story, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of your background and experiences. Your narrative helps us begin to identify the underlying roots of your concerns and collaboratively establish meaningful goals for therapy. Throughout our work together, my aim is to help you make sense of your story, find freedom from the past, and move toward a more fulfilling and purposeful life. I view you as the expert on your own experience, and my role is to listen, support your growth, and help alleviate emotional suffering. You can expect a warm and compassionate presence, paired with intentionality and curiosity. I approach each session with an open mind, ask thoughtful questions, and listen carefully to ensure that my guidance is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my core strengths as a therapist is my ability to listen with genuine care and work collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan that supports meaningful, lasting change. I offer an inclusive, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approach, creating a space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered. Through this process, many individuals uncover their inner strengths and build the confidence to trust themselves and move toward the changes they desire.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am particularly well-suited to support clients who are exploring or deconstructing religious beliefs, navigating burnout, or undergoing significant life transitions. I also work with individuals engaged in the deep, transformative work of healing from trauma. Additionally, I provide support to those who may be feeling lost, anxious, or disconnected, and who seek to make intentional, values-driven changes in their lives.

My treatment methods

Family Therapy

Family therapy invites members of your nuclear family—and, when appropriate, stepfamily or extended family—to participate in sessions designed to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. By involving all key members, therapy creates a collaborative space where each person’s perspective is valued, and lasting change can be fostered together.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented and evidence-based approach that can be beneficial for individuals facing a wide range of challenges. I often incorporate CBT to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. This approach supports clients in challenging negative beliefs, reframing their thinking, and developing more adaptive, empowering ways of responding to life’s difficulties.

Couples Counseling

Couples and marital therapy focuses on the relationship between two individuals and the dynamics that shape their connection. The therapeutic process aims to break down barriers and foster a healthier relational pattern, providing a safe space for partners to explore emotions, beliefs, needs, and behaviors. Together, we work to address pressing concerns and strengthen the relationship through improved communication, empathy, and mutual understanding.

Faith based therapy

Christian counseling is integrated into individual, couples, or family therapy sessions as part of a comprehensive treatment approach, rather than offered as a standalone service. When desired, I incorporate prayer, scripture, and other faith-based practices alongside evidence-based clinical interventions to support clients in finding a healthy balance in marriage, family, and everyday life.
